It is already taking a long time for Mr Icebreaker to come and celebrate that Monero has overtaken Dash in Coinmarketcap.

Congratulations to Dash masternode holders, new ATH

Why is more locked away coins ( over 50%!) a celebration?

I don't have much experience mining, but minergate works fine

If you don't mind them skimming your money.

OK so if price and volume = market cap and increased market cap = increased price

If this mining fad kicks off will we see an increase in volume and therefor price of Monro's?

Is no news bad news? or will we get some taint from this?

is the only browser based miner so far Monero or are there others?

I can see only lower price because of this- it's free'ish money for the owners of these websites and
will probably sell often at whatever price is.

Still no windows wallet gui after 3 years?

There have been but they've not been consistently maintained. This is a community-based project, so if people don't come forward with an interest in doing something it doesn't get done. Bounties are possible. After the rebase adapting the Monero GUI will be an option.
Hi i have issue my old wallet is not opened, its cmd outpubt:

aeon wallet v0.9.14.0()
Specify wallet file name (e.g., wallet.bin). If the wallet doesn't exist, it wil
l be created.
Wallet file name: mywallet
password: ******
Error: failed to load wallet: failed to read file "mywallet"

my pass and wallet name true i use it for 0.9.13 and its worked

does it still work with 0.9.13 ?

Who died and made Snowden king of crypto?
So are you saying now that he is not knowledgeable when it comes to cryptography ?
He linked to old non-relevant info - so at the least he is uninformed and not updated.

What's up with this coin... when you mine it it's minimum 2-5 xmr for exchange wallet. Windows wallet doesn't work - third day now... Daemon doesn't start... wallet crashes... this thing doesn't work... how the hell is everybody using this coin?

All of that not true (except maybe YOUR windows wallet not working)

BITTREX opened the wallet, WTF guys?

Is new AEON wallet already released?

I just started mining monero, is this site legit or should I stop using it?  http://www.monero-miner.com/ I want to know if others are using it and if they are earning from it real Monerao. I am trying it out for the first time today..
It's legit but they have a brutal 30% fee, it uses subpar javascript wasm miner that gets you 50% of the hashes a native miner can get. Check http://moneropools.com/ for real stratum pools where you can use native cpu miners as well as gpu.

Thanks for the reply, currently I am at 131k shares and now put it on 3 computers lol, so let's see in 61 hours when they say it spits a payment what I will get. Even if I mine a couple of bucks of MONERO a day I will be happy and just save it for long term holding. Who knows I might get a few referrals also who might wanna try it out so I can get more hashing power that way.  Grin

What is the minimum payout?   I doubt you will get anything in less than a few weeks.

1) You said "no pre-mine" but yet I launched the daemon 20 mins ago and already saw 4000+ blocks taken.

2) Your logo is literally just the monero logo re-colored.

If you are a serious coin, please explain.  Someone mined a lot before launch.

He started mining on linux(no windows version yet) and gave no announcement before he started. Scamcoin.

I'm very excited about the Reddit update. Glad to see things are progressing and that AEON has a good future. Its ties to Monero will help it move in tandem with their wild moves, which is great.

What update is that?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AEON [2017-04-23: update to 0.9.12.0] on: July 08, 2017, 03:32:48 PM
It is already a store of value! The price will only grow in a long term - now it is very undervalued, considering current block complexity the objective price would be around 35K for a coin. The infrastructure is very well developed, now we have mobile client, and web wallet. the Cryptonote Lite also is a very mobile friendly, so the next step would be a mobile miner. It is only a matter of months until some major player like aeon.co will adopt AEON platform for inner payments and rewards. the blockchain is stable and fast, the coin has great future ahead of it!

Hang on, over the past few weeks you've said nothing but it's all dead, the aeon world is on fire and it's all falling down around us.  And now an about turn to what can only be described as ass kissing levels.  So what is it g8tguy, troll?, investor looking to make some money?  Why the constant horse shit?

There is room also for bi-polar's  Smiley

Any news, what is going on with the coin? Should we stop mining?
The mining stopped to be profitable, the price dropped to 15k and will continue to collapse to 5-7K in a day or two, so the coin is kinda living its last days. Anyone still mining?

its mostly between 20k and 25k- on trex at least.  I know you can't deposit there.

Hello Community

Total Noob here ; really interested by the principle of cryptocurrencies since a long time, but I didn't feel able to have the necessary technical skills to be a part of it... until I decided to really try, step by step, and enter this new world... I'm just learning a lot since a few days ( & nights  Cool, it's just fascinating, I'm stuck in it :-) .
I don't know for sure if Aeon will be the next thing, but I like what I read and understood until now, and the family aspect of the community. I'm not really here for the short-term profit, because of the limitations of my gear and hashrate, but I somehow believe and hope Aeon can grow and become a reference value in the future. And even if it never happens, who cares, I think it's just worth to be a link of the chain and try to strengthen it with each little contribution.

Well enough blah blah here's my newbie question : I'm now syncing my aeond and it's of course taking hours ; I've seen it's possible with monero to speed up the process by downloading blockchain.raw and syncing the daemon from it.
Is there a similar process with Aeond ?

Actually using the raw file on monero doesn't save time (it is processed on the import) but does save on network use.
