1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 21, 2023, 01:24:27 PM
I watched the Moldova-Poland match yesterday and I'm still in a bit of a shock after what happened in the second half of the match. In the first half, as expected, Poland dominated, fully controlled the game, and 2 goals scored is the lowest penalty for Moldova. The Moldovan players came close to the Poles' penalty area only twice, but did not even shoot at the goal. In the second half, the Polish players were probably on vacation. Fatal mistakes in defense (2 assists are basically Polands plays), ineffectiveness in the attack and a visible lack of commitment made Moldova score 4 goals (one not recognized by the referee, in my opinion wrongly) turned the tide of the meeting and won a historic victory.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 20, 2023, 03:28:36 PM
I disagree with the statement that crypto is a form of gambling. Investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies obviously comes with risks, but so is any investment. A conscious and well-thought-out decision allows you to significantly reduce this risk. When throwing the dice or playing roulette, you can only count on luck and that is gambling.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock and Fidelity both apply for bitcoin ETFs on: June 20, 2023, 03:12:19 PM
Just take note that Fidelity applying for a Bitcoin Spot ETF is still just a rumour. (Unless I've missed some news, that is.)

The BlackRock application alone is a good reason to be bullish though.

It is true that Fidelity's apply for the Bitcoin Spot ETF is still unconfirmed, but the subject seems very likely to me. They certainly do not want to lag behind the competition that is BlackRock. And even if it turns out to be just a rumor, these events probably stopped some further declines in the crypto market.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you tired of waiting for the jump? Pls Hodl on: June 18, 2023, 03:23:04 PM
Knowing the history, it's easy to make fun of such tweets. There are different methods of investing and trading. One person prefers to buy with several years of investment in mind, another person tries to trade on an ongoing basis, multiplying their profits. It is not said that the author of the tweet did not buy even more btc in a few days. Today, the market is completely different than it was 10 years ago, and thanks to the various instruments offered by exchanges, some traders also make great money on falls. Personally, I don't like daytrading, it's too stressful and tiring for me, but there are situations when I sell my cryptocurrencies to buy them back at a lower price.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden administration will kill Bitcoin! Says Ron DeSantis. on: June 18, 2023, 03:11:00 PM
Indeed, the actions of the Biden administration and the SEC recently point to an open war with cryptocurrencies. However, Bitcoin itself does not seem to me to be in danger. It seems to me that these actions will cause more damage to younger projects in the blockchain industry. The question is how other countries will approach this issue. If investments in the blockchain industry around the world increase and bring profits, I believe that the US will notice that they are shooting themselves in the foot with such actions.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Nations League final four ⚽ on: June 18, 2023, 03:03:46 PM
Congratulations to Italy for finishing 3rd in this edition of the UEFA Nations League. The match could really be enjoyed, the Dutch fought to make up for the losses until the last minutes. In the final match, Croatia - Spain, I bet on the victory of Spain. I absolutely do not underestimate Croatia, because they have many excellent players, but it seems to me that Spain is a better team.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: June 18, 2023, 03:02:14 PM
Personally, I believe that you always have to approach people with limited trust. Not only if we are talking about investing in cryptocurrencies, although it is true that the world of cryptocurrencies is specific and in this case you need to be especially careful. I consider the case described in the article cited by the OP to be extreme, but it certainly gives food for thought. Nowadays, dominated by social media, it is increasingly difficult to take care of your privacy, and unreasonable dissemination of too much information can bring us trouble.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 17, 2023, 09:26:13 PM
I strongly disagree with the statement that "Without money, the knowledge is a waste". Money can be obtained in various ways, not necessarily in the world of cryptocurrencies, and if you get funds, then you can skillfully use your knowledge. In my country there is a proverb: it is better to lose with a wise man than to find with a fool. I also follow this principle. If your knowledge and skills are really at the right level, you will find a way to earn money on it. If not, your level of knowledge may be lower than you think.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Nations League final four ⚽ on: June 16, 2023, 10:43:04 AM
The Spaniards deservedly won the match against Italy and eventually advanced to the final, where they will play Croatia. When it seemed that extra time would be needed in this match as well, the Spaniards dealt the decisive blow. Rodri (chosen player of the match) hit from outside the penalty area, the ball bounced off two Italian players, then put it into the goal by Joselu. I believe that also in Sunday's match Spain will be the favorites and will beat Croatia.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New question for experts on: June 16, 2023, 10:34:05 AM
I believe that education is the basis in every industry, and in such a difficult, new and fast-growing industry as the blockchain industry, such events can be a great place to both expand your knowledge. If someone seriously intends to tie their professional future with the world of blockchain or cryptocurrencies, such an event can be, above all, a great source to gain valuable contacts that will help in building a career. Of course, the quality of such an event depends on many factors - who is the organizer, people/companies taking part, speakers, etc., but we are able to gain new experiences from each event.
11  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: June 15, 2023, 03:20:35 PM
Personally, I respect and approve of your approach and believe that if more people acted like you, the cryptocurrency market would be much safer. A conscious investment is very important, of course it does not mean that it will always be profitable, but it shows a mature approach to investment and I believe that in the long run it will guarantee you profit. Do not give up further learning economics and technical analysis, and it will certainly pay off in the future. I wish you every success.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Nations League final four ⚽ on: June 15, 2023, 03:13:01 PM
It's hard to pick a clear favorite for the match between Spain and Italy. Bookmakers give more chances to Spain and I also bet on the team of coach Luis de la Fuente to win. In the last head-to-head competition, the Spanish national team ended a glorious 37-match unbeaten Italies streak. It is also worth noting that in 10 of Spain's last 12 matches, the half-time score (win/draw/loss) was also the final score. Odd @4.0 for the halftime lead and the Spaniards win seems very attractive to me.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I received 65 BTC from an unknown address... on: June 14, 2023, 02:25:27 PM
I follow the rule: your keys, your crypto, so do whatever you want with them. Assuming, of course, that this situation is true, because it's hard to believe that someone sends such an amount to an unknown address.
If this happened to me, it is an amount that would definitely allow me to change my current life and I would not hesitate for a moment to properly manage these funds. I would pay taxes honestly, then buy a new house, a car, and invest the rest.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2022/23 Season on: June 07, 2023, 01:32:42 PM
It's hard for me to pick a favorite for today's match. Bookmakers also offer similar odds for both teams. Both West Ham and Fiorentina score a lot of goals in the Conference League (Fiorentina average 2.57 goals per game, West Ham 2.25), so I'll bet on over 2.5 goals today and count on an interesting show.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Are crypto faucets genuine and worth it? on: June 07, 2023, 01:24:40 PM
I recently came across a way to get free cryptocurrencies, which is through crypto faucets.

I'm not that mature in the crypto world but want to own some crypto and start my journey in this space. After so much research, I got to know that there are many websites called crypto faucets which reward users with crypto for performing several tasks on their platform.

I found an article at "https://moneybinds.com/best-crypto-faucets/". I thoroughly read the article and it was pretty convincing. I just want to get some more opinions whether it is a proven method to earn free cryptocurrencies, and if yes, will it be worth my time and efforts on those platforms?

It is best to check for yourself whether the remuneration is adequate for you in relation to the time spent. For one person, earning cryptocurrencies worth a few or a dozen or so dollars will be attractive, and for others it will not. The article you linked seems to be a good source. There are several websites presented there, which have been operating for quite a long time and are still solvent.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 05, 2023, 05:05:30 PM
Knowing Erik Spoistra, one would expect Miami to play much better in the second game, but I must admit that the result of the game is a big surprise for me. Another thing is that Joker could not count on the support of partners in this match as in the first match, hence he focused more on scoring points than assisting his colleagues. Miami's close to 50% 3pt field goals is unlikely to happen again in these Finals either.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Atomic Wallet hacked! Get your funds out now! on: June 05, 2023, 03:00:52 PM
I have several cryptocurrencies that I stake in Atomic Wallet. Unstaking usually takes a few days. Has anyone seen any information on what to do in this situation? Or maybe any suggestions? I'm using the desktop version and haven't opened the wallet in over a week.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency a financial pyramid on: June 04, 2023, 06:00:34 PM
Cryptocurrencies are mostly a speculative asset, often having some application, not a financial pyramid. A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of future payments. As recruiting multiplies, recruiting becomes quickly impossible, and most members are unable to profit. In the crypotcurrency market, we make our own decisions when we want to buy and sell our assets. We cannot call the laws of supply and demand a pyramid scheme.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Serious blockchain reliable and ready for wider adoption with good utility on: June 04, 2023, 05:48:55 PM
Personally, I have had trx in my portfolio for a long time and I am happy with it. Back in the day, TRON blockhain was very popular for play-to-earn game dapps. A few years ago, using cryptocurrencies was not always as easy as it is now, and thanks to trx and wallets such as tronlink, transactions were very cheap and fast. Personally, I like cryptos that offer staking options, and with trx you can count on about 5% per year.

In addition to the previously mentioned coingecko or coinmarketcap, I use the website: https://playtoearn.net/blockchaingames
There is a lot of information about given projects and some statistics. You can also find information about airdrops.
