The players of both teams are equally good with pretty good flying hours so I can't say for sure who will win this match.
Judging from the FIFA rankings, Italy is ranked #8 while Spain is ranked #10, but that is not a reference to say Spain is an easy team to beat Italy.

What was passing through Koeman's mind? I still couldn't understand. In extra time De Jong played as a centre-back and Virgil van Dijk played as a centre-forward. While Netherlands got this much close to winning a trophy home after long years it was a fiasco for them to concede 4 goals from Croatia.

When it comes to Croatia they are maintaining their amazing performance. One should raise their hat to 37-year-old Modric for staying on the field for 120 minutes and shining like a star.

I personally don't really consider their head to head result because I think, it's a record that happened in the past because I believe the past and this moment seem to have a difference. Thus, I personally predict that this match will run tough which means, I'm sure there won't be many goals scored in this match. Because in my view, these two teams have been playing more defensively lately and thus, when they get a goal they will quickly change their playing style to be more defensive. So yes, that way it will be difficult for the team that is left behind to score a goal back and even though they can score a goal and so on, they will only play more carefully so that no more goals are scored.

Really good match so far in the first half. We have seen a lot of good chances and shots on both sides. Small offside also costed Italy the lead in the first half. Spain is really weak in defence in first half all balls coming through the middle and if it wasnt for Var Italy would have leaded the match

Croatia is a very strong team, they have consistently achieved good results over the years, at the World Cup they reached the semi-finals and lost to Argentina, and now in the League of Nations they reach the final.

In the second semi-final, so far the score is a draw, but Spain looks more confident, the second half has begun and the most interesting is yet to come. I would probably like to see Italy in the final, but something tells me that Spain will reach the final.

This game no doubt will be very interesting and when its comes to games like this ,FIFA ranking doesn't really matter because both teams might be in different forms and the ranking won't really matter. The game is currently on a 1-1 draw and I believed its going end so because the both are currently playing  well and since it the final stages we will likely be seeing more of draw at the find whistle of the 90mins of play.

Spain has the advantage, but the odds of the bookmakers at the moment seem strange to me:

There are at least 30 minutes ahead and I see no reason that someone will not be able to win, and the result is with 50/50 chances. Maybe betting on Italy at the moment makes sense.
But I also want extra time - so that the winner of this pair is tired and Croatia has an advantage in the final (one day more rest).

72' minutes on the clock and it is still a draw between both European Giants. The game is very tight at the moment and both teams have made some changes to try and tip the game in their favor and claim the winner before the end of regular time.

I don't remember watching such a boring international match recently. Nothing really happened in the second half of the game. The worst part is, if the game ends like this, we'll have to watch 30 minutes of extra time and maybe it will go to penalties. The players of Spain and Italy seem to be able to get over the tiredness of the season.
I don't understand why they do this tournament anyway. Just when the leagues are over, all the players are jamming the national matches while planning their vacations.
