21  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: September 25, 2018, 08:23:02 AM
@sampam
Any bank in Europe will ask you from where the money comes from once you hit a limit. 10k€ is like making waves with your shirt and shouting "hey look at me"

@elmanager
Can you tell me about the verification process with ICard?. The verification is manual or automatic? If it's manual then I won't be able to use their service, my ID will be rejected for sure.

  I got a direct video call via the app, where I showed my id to a person from the company and spoke with him.Definitely its not a bot or system.I think you got bigger chances when you communicate with person not a machine. Im not sure for other methods

Had used mister tango twice and it worked without issues. Kraken -> Mistertango -> wherever inc transferwise. Have their cryptofriendly premium account. 1st time amount was smallish. 2nd time amount was couple k and it popped up with some message on the app which can't remember now, maybe something about why using mistertango or funds purpose/origin or something like that on the app, a click later and that was it.

This was a month ago.

Anyone had issues with them since or very recently?

   A friend uses them for kraken, yesterday he told me his last using of mistertango was last week and no problemo as you said.

Any idea what amount of money he transferred? I read on another forum that 10k and you will should have proof/invoice or something? Not sure if that is the case for personal in your name transactions too or not....

The iCard you are trying is for EU citizens only? EU residents? Or anyone can apply and get it? Any address proof requirement?

   For sure iCard is eu friendly and im not sure for other country, I can't find eu only but im seeing that in the menu where you are typing the phone number the countries are limited.But this doesn't mean your id wouldn't work it means you need eu phone number Grin .Probably they'll ask you for another document if your id does't have an address or etc. In my case only my id was required in 15 min I was verified with 25k euro limit, 2.5k per transaction and 5k per day.

I just tried Bunq but they don't have many options for ID's like Bulgaria as the guy from the support spell it "Bulgary". In this chat with the support they asked me to go through the steps again with a passport. While I was chatting with bunq I found a local provider iCard, get verified and sent a test withdrawal from kraken to my personal iCard IBAN. It works with EU residents for sure. In kraken status is still sending I guess tomorrow ill have it. I used revolut and monese until they shut the doors for kraken Smiley
iCard is from Bulgaria so certainly they are friendly for Bulgarian ID's. Which may be not an option for others (at least for traditional banks in Bulgaria I found it is more difficult to open an account then in Germany for instance).

   This is very stupid to think as fidor is easier for germans while its an online bank  Grin . Probably the project and their offices are located there. The Bittrex, Revolut and many other big crypto businesses have offices located in Bulgaria too.
 No problems with iCard If you are an EU citizen as well.  The verifying process is short and easy. Most of the non EU providers bought the same poor data base for id's and driving license as bunq, thats why I was surprised that bunq as a dutch provider has this issue. Its not about a country, its about a bad management.

  I forgot to mention that, no monthly fee for iCard, no fee IBAN, no fee for 3 virtual cards and 1 plastic, no fee online purchases and payments on POS. Its works great for me. For cash Im topping up my revolut (I got metal plan) and Monese with 5 free withdrawal per month.

@Matthias9515
Transferwise will lock your account if you have transactions related with a crypto company because it doesn't support this industry

@elmanager
Good to hear it works just fine. I will give it a try so (hoping they will accept my ID card)

@DevilOper
If you are from the Great Europe you won't have any problem

@freespirit
16% per year APR, just wow

  What country is your ID?

elmanager, sounds like you need to look into nexo.io
You can keep HODLing your bitcoin or ether and just use it as collateral to get a loan in USD or EUR. Moreover both Revolut and Transferwise and many more banks accept SEPA transfers from Nexo, unlike transfers from exchanges like Kraken.

   Thanks but for this service im using wirex from 3 years, iCard is now the solution for kraken, the contactless service app is a nice extra to it. So wirex for bitcoin and altcoins and iCard for sepa deposits from kraken. Wink Revolut and Monese are the backup plan for top ups. No need loans nor anything that doesn't accept sepa from kraken. With iCard you got 3 virtual cards a contactless icard, virtual visa and virtual mastercard. All got daily limits 5k eur with 2.5k eur per single transaction as the first got 15k eur weekly or monthly limit so 25k at all limits per month. Im waiting  for my plastic one as 4th card in the app and I expect additional limits there.

Bunq likes to block accounts randomly if they think you don't use it with a "fair usage". I am interested to see if ICard accepts payments from Kraken, so if you can update here if it works without problems, I may give it a try

   I confirm the funds just came at 13:10 (+2gmt). Later ill try the contactless payment service via the virtual card in the wallet and ill update that info too.

     It works great, 20 min ago i paid at grocery store with the app. If I need cash until my plastic comes im topping up my revolut and withdrawal, thats tested too and it works instant and fine. iCard rullz now. Kiss

  Before I sent funds from kraken I talked to a live agent at iCard who said if Payward ltd/Kraken doesn't have any restrictions we are good. Im waiting for it and ill update here asap.

Elementrem is definitely one of the most mysterious yet exciting blackboxes of the Crypto-world  Wink
Perhaps you are right, probably only time will show it. So far I look and I observe only aside. It is possible that that and will turn out at team of this project, now of course it is heavy to tell.

       Yeah but a blackbox sounds scary, I would say an egg surprise  Cool

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELE] Elementrem - Smartcontract BlockChain | More Fast, More convenient on: January 18, 2018, 06:16:08 AM
Soon we will release a new elementrem mist wallet.
It will be very useful for developers, although it will not be much different for general users.
And many good news will come to you sequentially.
Our team is working to develop the blockchain technology into global world computing. The key is that many enterprises apply elementrem to their systems. stay tuned!  Grin

    Very goood, I like ELE from the very beginning, I mined and traded too. It is a very good alternative for smart contracts and I would recommend  it for schools and universities, it is a good cause and a good marketing  Cool

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: July 23, 2017, 08:39:55 PM

I would feel much better....for you to allocate your precious and limited time into writing/recording some more tehnical stuff and creating a "document" aka VERI for dummies video/PPT version.

Indeed Dorky.

Something that illustrates the various aspects of the business model from the perspective of all stakeholders involved, as well as each of their priorities and risks, i.e.

 • ICO/exchange market investors
 • the interests of the issuing corporate entity
 • potential "institutional investors"

Here's an example to start you off and give you some ideas. This one illustrates the two potential scenarios I outlined in an earlier posts whereby instead of selling the 'reserved' token supply on the open market they are held by a corporate entity instead and shares sold in that corporate entity. As you correctly say, I may have no idea what I'm talking about - it's just that scenario 2 looks far more attractive to me both from the issuer's point of view and from that of prospective 'institutional'. Feel free to respond with a similar document showing why it isn't.

Finally, there is one aspect missing from this analysis of course. That's the thing that everyone has been asserting consistently in this thread which is that VERI is "software" and not a "trading security" (even though it's traded and held as one by every poster I've seen). But to make a proper appraisal of that dimension of the token we'd need to see the applications concerned and be able to quantify its potential revenue earning capacity.

Lets see what Monday brings on that front Wink

  Thank you for your illustrates. Wink

     It is so clear, that tendentiously BTC38  won't do any support , so they just are using XCN to manipulate the price, this is so closed trading.

  My first ticket to them is from 02.04.2017:
"service staff 小欣: Hello, technology has been modified, please refresh to get BTC address, XCN wallet fails, the suspended filling, wallet recovery, will open filling"

   03.04.2017:
"service staff 小叮当: New XCN purse there are bugs, so temporarily cannot restore function of deposit. Please understand!"

   09.04.2017:
"service staff 小妮: Hello, I'm very sorry, the old record of deposit is still unknown"

   29.04.2017:
"service staff 坏小子: Hello, XCN wallet trouble, temporarily not fixed, please wait for your wallet to be perfect in operation, hope to be able to help you,"
