1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [10000Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB on: October 13, 2014, 03:56:05 PM
I will probably be giving the default Eligius difficulty a bump soon. Pretty much anything that sits at 128 difficulty is pointless to run these days anyway.  Might take it to 1024 for a minimum difficulty.

But the above is correct, there is no way to custom set a difficulty.  This is also not necessary with proper hardware and software. The pool chooses the appropriate difficulty.

Flashed 1 S4 to the latest firmware... Miner showing 2Th/s, Pool showing 700GH/s. Difficulty on the box is showing 512, and everyone has recommended 2048 or higher. Hope this can be sorted out soon so I can move these miners back to eligius.

I can't figure out how to set a higher difficulty for eligius (yes, using Antminer S4's)

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm not seeing it anywhere on the FAQ or searching the board. Thanks in advance.

Out of curiosity...

Could you put to a Beta build with the latest CGminer compiled in it as is. It wouldn't be to hard to whip up an disclosure box saying this software is provided in a beta condition, it hasn't been fully tested and Bitmain Tect is not responsible for your machine mining at a lower hashrate, becoming unresponsive, the bricking, formation of small black holes, etc.

Again, this is an option for those of us who like the bleeding edge of stuff, and know how to back things up if Fit hits the Shan.

Loan amount: 0.30
Interest: 25% (3.75BTC repay)
Loan duration: 3 days MIN to 7 days MAX
Collateral:  None ATM
Reason: Shipping costs for 3 Antmain S4's. I was hoping to get the order in today. I will also send you all my relevant Business info in a PM so you have legal recourse.
BTC ADDRESS: 1MiCAkpMdRn9JxSmxk4gmuZrApioMbCLeM

Thank you for your consideration and a PM will be arriving shortly.

Shipping costs 0.3? I find that hard to believe.

I should have worded that as I am short .3... that's not the total to ship.

10  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 7 Avalon Gen 1 batch 3 miners (750GH/s total) on: May 30, 2014, 11:57:23 PM
Just want to gauge interest in these 7 Avalon units.

Rock solid running at a total Ghash/s.

They were the units purchased for Coinhoarders Batch 3 group-buy, I bought them after the group decided to sell them off.

5 Units come with PSU's, 2 w/o (I received them like this when purchased.)

Q:Why are three not running?
A:Ran out of power... actually, had a subpanel start melting the plastic inside it and burned one of the Circuit breakers.

Q:How the hell did you burn a circuit breaker.
A:By using one of These. Protip, DON'T USE THOSE!!!

Q:How can I be sure they work after the damage you posted.
A:I'll get the 3 not running up and hashing and update this post if the first 4 move so you can be sure they work.

Q:How much?
A:$125 each Paypal or BTC/LTC (Antminers are selling for $250 with the price increase of BTC.) Send me an offer for 2 or more. (shipping extra)

Q:Whats up with the BFL units in the image
A:2 30GH units... if you want them, I might sell them. They're profitable for me (albeit slightly) till 60B difficulty (cheap power, YAY!) So I won't let them go for less than $100 (what they'll make me in 3 months.)

Q:Anything else?
A:Gpu Mining supplies (GFX cards, Mobo's, etc) and laptops. MSG me if you're interested. If enough ask I'll list it here.

Edit: Paypal giving me issues due to being in a negative balance and won't let payments go through. :-/
Also added Ebay feedback link for those who want it.

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: public record, case 13LA09619 won against BFL on: January 03, 2014, 09:48:21 AM
Subbing to see where this goes. I'm sure quite a few of us would like some kind of refund for waiting a year+ (in my case) for some kind of product to be delivered.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: January 03, 2014, 01:49:12 AM

3rd time I've tried that, still don't work.

... le sigh.

Working... futzing with the LAN interface, when WAN needed to be edited.
13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: January 03, 2014, 01:00:01 AM
I'm at the same spot as Scaryhash, any help would be appreciated.
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: January 02, 2014, 09:25:16 PM
I got mine with a broken S1 button, not sure what the hell it does but that why I'm posting.

I logged into it once... changed it from 192.168.2.XX to 10.1.10.XX (my business network uses that ip range) and now I can't contact it whatsoever. Tried the reset trick by shorting pin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=348327.0, Post 23) as well as trying the IP scanner in this thread, no dice.

Do I have to send the board back?

Grabbed one. Thanks Guys!
16  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BUY/SELL ASIC MINING STUFF on: December 24, 2013, 02:14:03 PM
Never got anything from them. 2 BTC pissed to the wind. No tracking. No e-mail support. No confirmation (other than BTC sent away.)

Just an FYI... and an expensive lesson.

Also, the cash out on demand and automatic cash out aren't working... I would love to get my coins out of the pool.

Meh, 7950's (280x's) are out there, not cheap, but not as expensive as you have them.
