This is official mesage from support "If you buy additional ICN on kraken (and if you leave ICN on kraken exchange), you will receive dividends as a token owner.If you will buy more ICN tokens, I recommend you to transfer them to your ETH wallet for which you hold private keys."
This is not true. You cannot have ICN tokens on exchange and receive dividends. Got this email http://imgur.com/a/Bu6DrI talked with our support guys, and we really sent this wrong answer out. But IT IS NOT CORRECT, there is a a typo - "not" is missing.
ICONOMI's official statement is unchanged: To receive dividends 100% you have to keep ICN in your wallet (where you control the private key) or on ICO ICONOMI website's wallet. Everything else is not a sure thing. |

UPDATE
Our timeplan is known since the beginning of ICO. Funds in Q4 2016. Platform in 2017. Nothing has changed!
We are working hard on the project, and are reaching internal milestones daily.
We are completely on schedule - funds are looking great and are on schedule for launch in Q4.
If you are looking for "investment" that will pump to x100 tomorrow then look elsewhere. And mark my words: anyone promising "guaranteed profits" is a scammer!
BTW - it seems like we have an inflation of newly created accounts spreading FUD... I am wondering why now? They were obviously not around at ICO time, so they are not "angry investors" as they represent themselves, so what could be the reason?
Am I smelling a beginning of ground work of P&D whales, scaring weak investors into selling to load up with cheap ICNs, before they begin the pump? Seems obvious.
Anyhow I suggest you put them on ignore. I most certainly will.
Also, I invite investors to down-vote these scammers also in our subreddit.

Can we have an iconomi forum one day? here is hard to start growing a community. Actually I got a comment about this typo on telegram just minutes after posting, but did not see anything until this morning. :\ Anyhow bounty time is over, or maybe reserved for special achievements Surprise us! Regarding forum, I agree with you that bitcointalk is a big mess and hard to follow... especially since there is no way to ban fudsters/trolls. I use forum's ignore feature quite a lot, which makes it bearable... I suggest all users to do the same - this way trolls will be ignored and will maybe just go away. In the last week I was busy structuring our communications strategy... Consequently we will be closing down few of the communications channels, as quantity should never be in front of quality... Especially telegram group is completely spammy, so it goes first. We'll close it down in the next few days. Our own forum is a possibility if we do not find a better solution. But right now we are completely focused on delivering both investment funds before the end of year. Everything else is secondary. We like the idea of having the best quality content and intelligent debates on our subreddit at http://reddit.com/r/iconomi ... reddit's up/down voting is a great mechanism to block poor content and trolls... Detailed ICONOMI Cryptocurrencies Index (ICNX) updateAs described in our shorter update of 27 October 2016 triggered ICNX rebalancing, bitcoin has been showing a strong appreciation during the second half of October. Consequently its weight surpassed 20% of the total ICNX, which triggered an immediate index rebalancing. With rebalancing we re-set the weights of included cryptoassets, but as per ICNX methodology we also changed ICNX composition. We have removed DigixDAO, Storjcoin X and Bitcrystals, as their daily average volumes for the last 30 days were below $50k. They can return to ICNX again, once their monthly volume rises above the minimum threshold and if ICONOMI still sees them viable in the long term. "as well as an equal opportunity of accessing the tokens for all investors" How does this go hand in hand with manually accepting transfer for some users? Did we even get to know how much ICN we are talking about here? What if ICN gets added to an exchange and noone is there accepting the transfer for some users? It should be auto, we got 2FA and it should be peoples responsibility to keep their own account safe. I do not want my transfer to get stuck in a manual process that might take hours. This is exactly why we offered investors a possibility to enter their ETH withdrawal address. In this case ICN tokens were assigned to them directly at genesis. When controlling ICN on your own, you are dependent only on the Ethereum network... Why manual processing of bigger transactions? Because we store most of ICNs in our multi-sig cold wallet. |
