I have headless miner running on smos. Every hour some hacker closes my mining session, and starts mining to its own pool
I have been debugging around, here are some facts
*changing user and root password did not help *changing ssh port did not help *hacker does not change cgminer configuration, I can just see that it has started mining litecoin, but my configuration stays the same *he added one item to crontab, that sends emails about my ip to his mailbox every 3 hours, removed that, still gets in to my machine
any suggestions how to block it? considering that I still want to access my machine from internet.

how can I switch to x15 on bamt/smos?
when running x13 I could change kernel type by
kernel: "x13mod" but at when putting x15mod or x15, it says "algorithm x15mod not found"

is there difference on windows and smos? me and my friend have 14.6 drivers on machine and using r9 270. he gets 2.8mh , but I get only 2mh he told me his settings, but I tried to replicate it in my smos configuration, but got even less, now getting 1.9mh. his setting and getting 2.8mh : setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 200
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
COLOR 0A
-I 19 -w 256 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1150 my settings in smos, getting 1.9mh: "intensity" : "19", "worksize" : "256", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "gpu-thread" : "2", "gpu-engine" : "1150", "gpu-memclock" : "1500" am I doing it correctly, how can I set that gpu max alloc etc? suggestions?

what settings do you use for r9 270? and how much hashrate you get for x11/x13 ?
|

any updates recently? getting 100% rejected and connection lost.
what could be the reason?

can anyone tell me or give a guide on how to upgrade bamt/smos drivers to 14.6?
i am able to mine x11,x13 etc on my old smos, but need to get newer drivers.

what are you guys getting with r9 270?
my stats:
~1600kh on x13 ~2070kh on x11
Can you post your system and driver? I am on smos, not sure which drivers are there.

is this suppose to have any increase in mining speed also?
r9 270 still getting ~1600kh on x13 ~2070kh on x11 same as with previous sgminers

Hi guys, I've been troubled by "Share above target" for few days already and still can't find the root source of the issue despite Googling and searching in this thread. :/ I'm using sgminer-5.0-pre-release-2014-06-11 and password set to d=0.04 for X11 and X13, d=256 for ScrypN. Only Scrypt on port 3333 works. even Keccak doesn't work. same. also losing connection to nicehash, and getting 50% share rejected

I have weird behaviour with x13, at first it starts to run around 10.2mh/s within 4 hours it has linearly dropped to around 9.4mh/s.
today morning after waking up, after 8 hours, it had dropped to 8.7mh/s
and it seems to be linear drop, any suggestions?
gpu overheat? if you use 290/290x don`t set the -g parameter to 4 nope very stable around 50-60 degrees. using 6 x r9 270

lasybear after staying in wrong fork, I moved to yours, which fixed x13 hashrate, but x11 hashrate dropped from 12mh to 6mh.
any suggestions?
i was using crator fork with 6x r270 on smos

looking good
x11 giving me 12400kh x13 giving me 10000kh

But these coins are not profitable. That's the main issue why I went back to mining regular scrypt.
It is very profitable. Especially where electricity is expensive such as Australia where it's 0.26 per kilowatt hour. Really? What miner are you using? I get about 3800 KH/s with X11 and this is at 300 watts. If I were to mine DRK today at 10 cents per per MW/hr I would LOSE 41 cents. Scrypt is more profitiable in every instance that I have tried. Please show me the numbers, because if you are using the same sgminer that 99% of us are you are likely not paying attention to the numbers. I just cannot see how X11 has gone this far with so little recognition of this problem. Here let me make it easy for you. How much hashing power do you have and what is the killowatts reading at the wall? I will show you right here if your claim is true or not. 2880 with scrypt, 1200w from wall 12400 with x11 , 600w from wall have fun

problem with x13 running r9 270 getting errors: 100 % rejected invalid nonce error Which pool? Is it really x13 algo? I was testing it on nicehash stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3337 Did you try a specified Nicehash miner: https://nicehash.com/software/? Note: darkcoin and darkcoin-mod represents x11 and x11mod (optimized), respectively; marucoin and marucoin-mod represents x13 and x13mod (optimized), respectively. now moved to random x13 stratum pool https://maru.suprnova.ccstill same problem, errors: Invalid nonce count - HW Error Rejected - Share is above target skipping configuration option "kernel", invalid parameter set_kernel Are you sure that you're using a current version of sph-sgminer_x11mod? thanks, got it working now, I was stuck in wrong fork . https://github.com/Cremator/sph-sgminer_x11mod
