1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Where YOU can buy Ripple and IOTA coins... on: December 21, 2017, 06:23:44 AM
I know a lot of people are scratching their heads trying to figure out how they can buy Ripple (XRP) or IOTA so I thought I would just throw this post together and give you 2 options of exchanges I use. http://bit.do/buyripple or http://bit.do/bitcoinexchange

They are both affiliate/referral links, so you know how that goes. It benefits us both should you decide to sign up through me. In any event, the one site is my favorite called cex. They rock simply because I know I can trust them. I used these guys when I mined btc years ago and have used them to trade between coins for years. The other site is called Binanace and I'm sure some of you have heard of them. They offer hundreds of different types of altcoins. I believe it's the only place you can currently by IOTA which everyone is talking about.

Happy Trading! Remember to take profits!
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a prize in Freebitco.in Lottery? If yes, how much? on: December 06, 2017, 03:31:58 AM
I use the freebitco faucet and have been using it since 2013 when I first got started. I've never hit the massive jackpot, but I've hit the others. I've had friends hit the big big jackpot and that was awesome to see them actually pay it out. It has been bringing me anywhere from $1-$100 per week over the years. The nice thing is that .50c I got back in 2013 is worth way way more these days. This company has never missed a payment to me either. Every Sunday, like clockwork it shows up.
I've recently started to leave some btc in that wallet because they pay a 4.02% annual return. Kinda like a savings account. So that's pretty nice.
If you wanna sign up for the one that I've been using, use my referral link so I can get credit. Smiley that link is http://bit.do/easybitcoin

3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase in a nutshell on: November 27, 2017, 05:41:14 PM
Coinbase is popular because they make it easy. They make it feel like paypal. So to a new user who is maybe afraid of Bitcoin already, when they see something that's so easy to use.... They use it. They trust that it's secure and don't understand why no one wallet is secure enough to hold your whole balance.

I use Coinbase to buy and sell into USD. But I don't store my money there at all. It's just my middleman.

It looks like they disappeared

So no one finds 1GHs free slightly insulting? That's 3 USB Block Erupters, lol.

I've actually purchased 4THs so 1GHs won't make one bit of difference to my total. And anyone who is just taking the free GHs will never reach minimum payout... ever.

On an unrelated note... where's the referral program? All cloudmining operations seem to have referral programs.

I thought the same thing... Referral program is where? That's the way to attract new users.

As far as the 1GHS. That's cute and all... But anyone who's on the fence or hasn't a clue as to what cloud mining is, 1GHS is a nice way to see how the whole process works.
Money is money regardless of how much. If your someone who wants to get your beak wet, dive in because the time for cloud mining is now. And CEX is not the place to do it.

So you dont actually buy the hardware, just the GH?

Yes, it's just like CEX. Cloud mining

What about the people who've been users since before it was bought out? Or the users who've been paying for their shares? Do we get some freebies too?

Exactly! Is it out of the realm of possibility that this user made a mistake? It's very possible.
Is it also possible that Betcoin made a mistake? Very possible.

The reality of the situation is, they have a money maker here. A very large money maker. It wouldn't be smart to duck out early with a big chunk of money when they could play by the rules and keep players happy and at the same time keep those big paychecks coming.

Time will tell with this issue, but I tend to side with the company over the user spamming a forum rather then going through the proper channels. I know he said he 'tried' but who knows.

Time will tell.

Oh, and I'm pumped that the ledgers are coming! Thank God for that!

Does this guy think by making his TEXT HUGE and crying that he will get our attention? I know for me, I ignored it. First it's way too big which makes you an asshole, second it's way too much crying which makes you a baby.

Betcoin isn't a scam site bro. I've withdrawn and deposited just fine. I've won and lost games just fine. Every now and again the site goes down or has some sorta glitch but from my view the company is very forthcoming with the information and is VERY fast to respond.

The only thing I noticed they seem to dodge is questions about gaming ledgers to see games won/lost and the flow of earnings to and from.

Outside of that, I think you need to calm your ass down bro. Maybe poker isn't for you. Cheesy

So tournament/sng play isn't going to be working until Tuesday?
Wow, well so much for spending my day off playing some poker. Seems like lately every time I log in to relax and play some cards, there's some issue.

How about also sending E-Mails to users to let them know of server downtime, maintenance and any other issues that may arise. I shouldn't really have to come to the forums to see why the hell I can't play. Not that I don't love it here, but it's a little annoying.

Also, for the 5th maybe 6th time... Are there any updates as far as a game ledger goes? Something to keep track of wins/losses?

it took awhile to load for me but its working i got to the tournaments

Yea they load, but I can't register for whatever reason. The software says my 'available balance' is different then my actual balance. So it's like I don't have the funds available to play evemn though I do.
Not only that, I'm getting all sorts of Javascript errors when the lobby stays open.

I dunno, I think I'm done messing with this for the day.

On my client I don't have any WPN tourney or sng games. Only Betcoin games. It's like all the action just up and left. : /

Also, during this massive upgrade is there a ledger of sorts for game history/ FULL transaction history?

Just curious how one might get the password for the '1,500 BTC Millions Daily Sat - 3 seats' satellite tourney?

Holdem Manager 2 works for Betcoin, you could use that to track your wins/losses.

Any idea if HEM 1 works for Betcoin as well? I never did upgrade because in the U.S there aren't many rooms worth playing at. I still have HEM1 and would love to be able to use the HUD again.

Plus, since Betcoin poker doesn't keep a ledger of games played, money lost or money won, It would be nice to know these simple basic things.

I would really like 250 GTD weekly thank you freeroll may be held on Sundays instead of Saturdays. Is there any chance you are going to evaluate this change?

i whould also prefer sunday because most big tourneys are sundays.

We can certainly do this.  Anybody else like to weigh in on the date of this?  The same time?

As a tournament player myself, I always block out time on Sundays for tourneys. I always have. It was like that pre-Black Friday. It was one of the greatest days of the week for a tournament poker player.

Peeps, all you do is complain. If you would keep all your comments to one post that would be appreciated!
If you don't like the lines bet somewhere else, it's a free market!

I agree. Everytime I see his name... His post is almost always something negative. Look through his 196 posts... a good portion of them are talking trash on sites that don't pay to advertise with him.
Take his 'advice' with a grain of salt.

Yea I don't like that I have no records of winnings/losses. Unless I'm missing something, I can't find the place that shows my tourney wins/losses as well as the payouts. I also can't find anywhere that shows me the conversion. It's kinda frustrating to be left guessing which tourneys I won. Am I supposed to bust out old school pen/paper and start tracking games myself? Sad
I was told that I was refunded for the game that was cancelled for whatever reason right before the final table. But I have no way to check to make sure I was indeed. I would love to just take your word for it, but it's 2014...I'd much prefer records.

Just was playing the 10GTD and an error pops up saying that the tournament has been canceled on the clients end. We were nearly at the final table. I rebought in a couple times as well as added on during the addon period. I attempted to use the live chat help but it wouldn't load.

My question is will the buy in, rebuys and addons all be refunded? or just the buy in? This is a little screwy

As a player myself. I must say the softness of these tournaments is almost like the old school PS and FTP days. Although the fields are small, it's very possible to crush these games. Get on the tables and see for yourselves! Wink
