Maybe he realized that there is no way to compete with BFL and wants to get a job there, by showing how 'smart' he is. Otherwise, he'd just make something better himself  Well. I don't need job with them, but I may sell to them solution of course. Right now they have more than enough money just to buy some know-hows about sha256. And looking at their hash-rates I clearly see that they need it :-) As for Spartan solution - it is already fastest, and if yohan's prices for board combined with my bitstream price per Mh/s would be $0.53 / Mh/s for FPGA (1200 Mh/s for $640). This already beats BFL prices. If my licensing per-spartan would be applicable ($25 per chip) - then it would be 1200 Mh/s for $740 - $0.616 - again beats BFL. But - yohan prefers 840 Mh/s :-) While our capabilities do not allow to deploy quickly and cheap solutions. For ASIC solution it is tougher - because this sets stakes higher. And I don't like to happen competing with phantom like it was with 20 W / 1050 Gh/s single... Trying like crazy getting 500 Mh/s from single Spartan :-) And then seeing that no magic was there, just some marketing fraud. I think they did it with this intention as well, to make others spending time trying to compete with the thing you can't :-) And then simply say "oops" - it is 80 W but not 20 W :-) Sorry - this is the thing that I won't forget :-) Quite happy that mini-rig was done differently. :-) so your bitstream it´s 300Mh/s? per Spartan Chip? it would be 600Mh/s at Icarus? |

Why u guys put the card HD 5850 at 560 Memory clock isnt 300 better or no?
i was using 840 and 300 memory clock.
~334 mH/S do i have to change something?

The board should take 16 months to pay off at today difficulty and exchange rates leaving eight months within warranty of guaranteed profit. The BFL-Single would take over eight months to pay off but with only six months warranty. Do the maths

Hey i also have the same issue. and i changed the board to Asrock 870 extreme 3.
But i think if u have a crossfire bridge u use the first time and extend to 2 monitores.
done that go CCC disable crossfire and remove the crossfire bridge connected 2 graphics to two monitors or dummy plug.
Restart computer and see if there is 2 graphics.

Hi guys, I finally got everything up and running now, tried guiminer with fresh install of windows 7 64bit + AMD APP (formerly Stream) SDK 1) In the guiminer device dropdown I see: 0-0 cypress, 0-1 cypress, and 0-2 amd phenom. Does 0-0 cypress and 0-1 cypress mean two cores on the SAME card, or does it mean two cards? If it's 2 cores on the same card, that means my 2nd card isnt active (i used a dvi/vga without the resistor mod). This is confusing, also how do i run both 0-0 and -01? do i need to start up two separate instances of guiminer? Also once my 2nd card is found, that means i have to start up 4 instances of guiminer? 2) I am getting 250 mhash/sec right now lol, obviously something is horribly wrong. Do i need to download the driver in addition to ADM APP SDK? with the -v -w128 option it went up to 300mhash/sec  Hopefully it's just a driver issue. What do you guys usually do after a fresh install of windows 7? install ADM APP SDK, install driver? thanks Hey 0-0 and 0-1 that means two cards, u need 2 workers (one worker for graphic card) But tell me one thing u just connected two cards to dvi/vga monitor and worked? I have the same board but i cant active the second card in orange slot X4. |

Olá,
tenho Dummy plug mas não resultou, daí eu montar com dois monitores é o mesmo que dummy plug. dummy plug serve para enganar a grafica que está ligado a um monitor.
No Gerenciador de Dispositivos só aparece uma gráfica, mas ja experimentei trocar, a que está no slot laranja X4 é a que nao funciona.

On PCI PnP CONFIGURATION there is not a enable/disable or Yes/No
just has something like IDE Bus master wich is enabled...
and PCI latency timer...
OMG this really dont work..
