5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 09, 2021, 09:17:36 AM
Yes Bitcoin is safe haven for traditional assets for many reasons, including independence from monetary policy, a role as a store of value and limited correlation with traditional assets.
1.While many of these arguments are compelling, empirical tests of the safe haven properties of Bitcoin have been devoid of a central component, a severe financial markets crisis. In this paper,  first assessment of the safe haven properties of Bitcoin during a period of significant turmoil in financial markets, the Covid-19 bear market.
2.Specifically,  whether an investor with a proportion of wealth allocated to Bitcoin can reduce their exposure to downside risk relative to a portfolio consisting only of equities.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: August 09, 2021, 05:46:48 AM
Investing in BNB is safe and profitable as it has a market capitalization of around USD 51 billion and various other discounts on the Binance Exchange. It is also one of the top utility tokens and has various benefits compared to other cryptocurrencies.

Binance coin however in the past has provided good stable returns compared to the other Altcoins but the only concern is that it is a centralized coin and it is controlled by Binance. They have the power to change the working of the coin or even make price alterations. However, before investing in the digital coin it is always advised to make proper research.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Tether? on: August 08, 2021, 04:11:47 PM
Tether is the third-biggest cryptocurrency in the world by market value. And it's got some economists — including an official at the U.S. Federal Reserve — worried.

Last month, Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren raised the alarm about tether, calling it a potential financial stability risk. Meanwhile, some investors believe a loss of confidence in tether could be crypto's "black swan," an unpredictable event that would severely impact the market.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on Monero? on: August 07, 2021, 02:36:44 PM
Monero is a digital currency that offers a high level of anonymity for users and their transactions. Like Bitcoin, Monero is a decentralized peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, but unlike Bitcoin, Monero is characterized as a more anonymous or privacy-oriented digital cash.
Monero is considered more of a privacy token and allows cyber criminals greater freedom from some of the tracking tools and mechanisms that the bitcoin blockchain offers.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto (bitcoin) is better than traditional money? on: August 04, 2021, 05:48:47 PM
Bitcoin is better then traditional money because
It's faster, cheaper, more secure and immutable. Traditional money is controlled by banks while bitcoin has owners. ... Less volatile than cash: Bitcoin has a global acceptance and is less volatile than local currency. Due to this feature, it becomes easier to conduct transactions across boundaries and online.
Bitcoin is peer-to-peer and open, yet secure and nearly frictionless
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: August 03, 2021, 04:56:58 PM
the simple way of looking at altcoins to invest would be to check top 100 in CryptoCurrency Market Capitalizations and invest in any of them.

But after the rise of ICOs there are more than 1000 cryptocurrencies in the market. Most of them have no or little use. Many of them are veiled behind big marketing words.

Due to this, I wrote few things to look into a currency before you invest into it:

First things find the following about the currency:

Launch Date
Current Price
Market Volume
Exchanges which have listed this token
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best token for staking right now? on: August 03, 2021, 02:55:50 AM
There are many coins are available but i would like to say Neo is the best staking coin right now

This is the Chinese Ethereum. And a platform for new dApps and services, and also a launchpad for new tokens.

Neo had a big rise like many others in this space, when launched in 2017. And have since struggled a bit, like the rest. But they are building and working hard on gaining traction and new development.

There have been questions regarding the decentralisation of Neo, similar to VeChain and this is something they are working on getting additional nodes to the network.

ROI: The expected annual ROI for Neo is 1.5-2.50% (note: this can fluctuate heavily)

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: July 31, 2021, 12:40:47 PM
Bitcoin is limited in quantity, with only 21 million Bitcoins ever to exist in the world. It thus retains its relative value just as gold. It is also secure, decentralised and highly efficient for transactions
Thats why bitcoin is worth so much

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: July 31, 2021, 05:20:16 AM
Tether (USDT) and Binance USD (BUSD) Both coin are Stablecoin. thous coin price will not dump or Pump. So we can Trust and Store both coin when market conditions is ruin.
BUSD is regulated and audited. They ensure that every BUSD is backed 1:1 by a physical dollar stored in FDIC-insured US banks.
USDT is not audited and has had security breaches and lawsuits in the past. They don't guarantee a physical dollar backs every USDT and the money that does back it is stored in offshore banks.
So I would consider BUSD to be a safer stablecoin,
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on Monero? on: July 30, 2021, 07:13:33 PM
In my opinion Monero is the best privacy coin in crypto because Monero has a feature called the ring signature, which obfuscates the sources of funds so that they are virtually untraceable to the parties involved in the transfer. The ring signature ensures that every Monero transaction between two parties is grouped with other multiple transactions that occur among other unrelated parties.
This means that the recipient’s funds are mixed in with other Monero users’ transactions, and moved randomly across the list of transactions, making it exponentially difficult to be traced back to the source or recipient.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about NFT? on: July 30, 2021, 10:01:42 AM
An NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos. They are bought and sold online, frequently with cryptocurrency, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos
NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are unique digital assets that are sold via the internet,
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best platform to use for a token offering? on: July 30, 2021, 06:27:43 AM
According to me Polymath is one of the hottest and best STO platforms in the blockchain community, Polymath is basically the Coinbase of asset tokenization. What made the latter so popular among cryptocurrency newbies is that it provided an intuitive arena where everyday folks can buy and sell digital assets. That’s the premise behind Polymath, only with asset tokenization as the primary focus.

19  Local / India / Re: An Easy way to understand Bitcoin on: July 29, 2021, 05:14:47 PM
Easy way to understan bitcoin is that Bitcoin is regular money that has value and can be used to buy goods and services. It is also similar to stocks because the value fluctuates based on the supply and demand.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2021, 03:39:31 PM
One reason behind this fear, is that bitcoin isn’t a tangible asset. It’s not something you can touch, smell or see like other wealth building instrumentsThe ordinary person isn’t aware that money is just a social construct. They think it always has been and always will be even though the only reason those green pieces of paper hold any value is because we choose to make it so.
