961  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 16, 2015, 01:57:36 AM
in my eyes, I dont think it acts like gold.

Yes, its value is rare and all that and hedged against fiat. But to me it acts more of a money transmitter then anything else.

Similar to moneygram etc.

You may not seem like it acts gold, but most people already see it that way.  Cheesy I think for your comments on being a moneytransmitter is like a 50/50 if the demand is there more for moving money, but theres no source that shows that.
962  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 16, 2015, 01:55:50 AM
I would like to expect that the price of bitcoin will rise with the halving but I'm not so sure.

lol, you must be trolling or seriously don't know what you're saying. it's all about supply and demand. if there is less supply price will go up of course. even when supply doesn't increase much from current level.

Ummm, it is also about demand. If supply goes down, the price goes down if demand goes down more.

Well I think demand will always be there, this is not even naive thinking, theres a always a huge percentage needed by money laundering like the gambling site right?

So its just the other percents that effect the possible price, like just buying it for more other reasons like gold value and how many people who see that same view.
963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best point in time to cash out the Bitcoins? on: June 16, 2015, 01:50:22 AM
Answer to OP now is the best time to sell for you. Seems to me every response you have given so far indicates you don't believe in your investment so why hold any longer?

Some people seem that want everything. They want the instant gratification and convince themselves Bitcoin is dead, but in the back of their minds they know they are making a stupid move by cashing out all of their Bitcoins because anyone with half a brain knows BTC will be worth 10.000+ in the next 10 years.

You just describe about 99% of the people.

To them like myself, we cash out based on whats the value right now, yeah we belittle ourself with hindsight, but its hard to tell whats the future when so many btc companies like BFL started great creating the community even better, then fails?

Stuff like that is so discouraging to see.
964  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin bubbles again, Chinese exchanges will have problems on: June 16, 2015, 01:48:05 AM
A slow gradual climb is more healthy anyway.

Yeah it'd be nice if we took the first step on the ladder any day now, even 300 seems like so far away.
Something has to change soon, I bet there are some bull whales getting itchy trigger fingers at the moment, the current price range is doing nothing for anybody.

300 seems more pratical now, since the 200 price zone has been climbing to be mid 200ish.

And its been holding for entire month now, so it looks solid in my view.

This very brilliant guy Tellinger is advocating the society based on small communities that voluntarily send a part of their produce to the neighbors. Yet there is no money, no barter, no trade nor value involved.

It will become possible via higher consciousness, he says.

Evil is evil Tongue
Communism idealism, dreams are dangerous when you act without thought.    Money is nothing but a marker, it allows us to count more precisely thats all really.   Pure barter or voluntary sharing as this is framed is a step backwards very simply because its less precise and harder to describe or plan for in a business cycle.    Sounds like just somebody who should be respecting or at least examining with a level head ideas in wealth of nations or similar, comparative advantage is a massive thing especially now with global trading.  Pure barter across such gaps does not work, or even a plain montary fixed ratio does not work as well as the free flow of money and varied contracts every day.  It disables some trade, discourages speculative ventures that might take place; in a small town setting, agrarian cooperative shared resource planning and ideas such as that could be a positive.

Some people adore communism, its just capitalism won back in the day.

Bartering only works to a certain extent, but as a business cycle I dont think any of it is pretty much reliable unless you do decide make a reputable plateform similar to ebay, but bartering style.
966  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Amazongiftcard for btc or paypal on: June 16, 2015, 01:38:16 AM
can you provide voucher and receipt so we know its not a carded one?
greetings

I dont think the person is legit, look at the obvious trust rating.

He has a neg repp, and that itself is a red flag on its own.
967  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Starbucks Gift Card on: June 16, 2015, 01:36:51 AM
You can always go to gyft.com that offers what you are seeking, and they are legit.

They also do paypal and btc. I rather be safe, then sorry cause cards can go bad immediately from a sketchy source which is 90%.
968  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: June 16, 2015, 01:28:41 AM
I bilieve i will earn 1 BTC in a year by using my account.
My rank will grow and i will joiin signature campaigns.
and im sure it''s less than 1 year you have collected 1 BTC

Not really a sig campaign pays 0.04/week , multiplied by  52 = 2.08 BTC

But you need Full Member or above

there are plenty of campaigns that pay far more than this; dadice's can net you up to .82 a month, potentially. but, this number of only for hero members and above.

Which is still a good amount of money in my view, esp if youre in the process of wanting extra money on the side.

But, also its a huge time that needs to take account for, like you said being potentially lol.
969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice on: June 16, 2015, 01:24:18 AM
Wait, why not just use bitpay which just take a couple mins to setup.

I mean its pretty straight forward for them to pay when they checkout in your store. I rather just have bitpay take care of everything.
970  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get free bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 01:15:26 AM
I think best way to get free bitcoin, play faucet or trading altcoin and get proft
But if do you have skill for that

IMO faucets are a waste of time.  Trading altcoins can be very profitable, but you have to be really careful.  It isn't easy to make money on this, you have to know what you are doing.  I think the best way to get into alts is to trade with very small amounts.  If you are using only $10 or less then you won't care too much if you lose, and at the same time you will learn a lot about alt coins.  You can read about it all you want, but until you get your feet wet you will still be a beginner.

Trading altcoins can be very profitable, but it's very dangerous.
Many altcoins are scams, the developers often sell all their coins when the price is high & gone after that

You should take a look about altcoin you are going to trade & learn how to trading altcoin from few people, so you will get profit

I`d just avoid it personally.

It acts more of a pennystock and most are all hyped with a pump and dump. I think every newbie should just stick with campaigns or helping someone with getting work. Then gambling on some alt coin to explode in price.
971  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: June 16, 2015, 01:09:05 AM
I personally stick with one exchange, based on my experience.

And when I see others having bad events happen like btc-e and other similar exchanges. I`d just avoid it. The best is to just get direct person to person.

974  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ===►Maidak scammed me 400$ BTC,this time is for sure===► on: June 11, 2015, 12:27:47 AM
I seen some guys get scammed like thousands, so consider it wasnt compared to that..

but yeah $400 dollars is a large amount of money still, cause it could be half months of rent right there.. I mean we cant really do anything about the situation..

979  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 11, 2015, 12:17:21 AM
the thing is we dont and arent able to predict the worth of bitcoin on the next year ,even the next 5 years and hell the next 20 years sounds like a dream.... your childs will grow and we will see how btc will stand over the next years...

20 years for some reason sounds like a nightmare.

I guess its just the time duration we had to see the last 6 years to see any form of progress.
