Mourinho was just offered 120 million Euro from Saudi Arabia and yes, I am saying Saudi Arabia because he himself can choose whether he wants to coach a club from the Saudi Professional League or whether he wants to coach the national team. The contract is going to pay him 60 million per season and he is free to cancel the contract anytime or to extend it. He is also free to take the national team to the World Cup 2026. It's absurd how the Saudis can throw around with their money. These sums are insane. I am not very interested to see how Mourinho will react. He has a contract until 2024 with Roma, but guess what, I am sure that if they don't want to let him go, the Saudis are simply going to pay for Mourinho to get the go from the Roma bosses. It is very interesting seeing how the Saudi have so much money to throw around, though it makes sense when you think about the benefits and what is there to achieve with these deals. The deals have being doing a lot to make the league become recognised globally and so far just like how Ronaldo's deal has been a major boost and upliftment to the league, bringing Mourinho will also drag more attention to the league. |

The match against Westham this time was a landslide victory for Newcastle, how could you not see that from their ball possession they were superior to Westham. And many good ones manage to score. It looks like Westham isn't a big threat this time because from the point of view of the match, there doesn't seem to be much pressure from the opponent. With the end of this match Newcastle is in 3rd place in the standings and for one and two there are Arsenal and Manchester city which are very difficult opponents when playing against Newcastle. It was a hard thing to watch for David Moyes yesterday. His side was just about giving easy goals to the Newcastle United side and they couldn't manage to contain them. Right from the first goal by Callum Wilson, it was such an easy header for him, uncontested and right there within the goalkeeper's box. Another good one from Saint Maximin. Then we had Joelinton running almost free and he handled the goalkeeper decisively, dribbling him out of the way and netting the ball. The goals just kept coming non stop and we had the goalkeeper with a brilliant assist to his opponent. I don't know if he didn't see Isak stop and he should have shot the ball towards throw. Instead, he tried to lobe the ball right over Isak's head but didn't do it right and Isak made sure to punish him for it with a goal. Newcastle United yesterday where just that good to have gotten 5:1 goal from West Ham on ther3 ground. I'm pretty sure David Moyes will be furious with the outcome of the game. Newcastle have been impressive in their last two games recording back to back wins against two tough teams Manchester United and Westham, indeed they are in a good form which raises the possibility of making top four at the end of the season they just need to stay consistent going forward. |

Qualification for world cup for South American nations like Brazil and Argentina has always been a certainty for them for many years so I don't rate them based on that neither do I build expectations based on that. Apart from France I don't think any European nations gives Brazil much trouble. Germany only did sometimes ago because the Brazilian team was built around Neymar and him been out of that game with a career threatening injury really devastate the team hence Germany could capitalize on that. That same German team struggled against Argentina in the final. Argentina almost won if not that the strikers were been wasteful in the game.

Indeed it's a good day for Arsenal FC. They are the only 'Top' team with convincing win today. Although, Chelsea's win isn't bad either but not convincing cause they were lucky with that. The game was heading for a draw. Arsenal winning Southampton not by a goal or 2 or even solicited penalty but by 3 good goals is a good one. I hope they can be consistent for most part of the season. That seems to be the major problem of the Arsenal team - One game hot, 3 games cold. It was a wonderful day for Arsenal as they succeeded in defeating Southampton by 3-0 home. They were already the favourite side of this game and they did what was expected from them. They showed a dominant performance especially in the second half and deserved this win a lot. Southampton are really bad in this season and they should find a way somehow to pull themselves together.

It's sad that Manchester United has gotten this low. Norwich City shouldn't cause a Manchester United on paper but in recent times, the red side of Manchester have been shoulder of themselves. Winning team like Norwich isn't suppose to make them sweat like they did. Relying on Ronaldo's penalty to see the game off. This was quite a difficult game for Manchester United but Ronaldo got fouled and won a penalty which he took and was a well take one as well. And in most games Ronaldo has scored these guys have won... And with Less than 12 minutes to go can these guys hold this lead against Norwich city who keep putting pressure on united.

I think what is happening to Chelsea FC is expected in the premier league, a team that have been thriving for months without striker.. It is only expected they would meet their water-low. The deficiency in the team was not noticed earlier because without strikers they were scoring goals and winning matches but the truth is the team was not really balanced from the start of the season. The midfielders weren't creating chances for the strikers especially for Lukaku. Lukaku really suffered from lack of clear chances in matches but fans didn't notice because ofcourse Chelsea was winning anyways and the other top teams haven't been that great but it's now a concern since Liverpool and Manchester City are picking up speedily. Tuchel needs to work on his midfielders. One could argue that chances created in matches ( like in today's game) are missed by these Chelsea's strikers but I thought Lukaku should have be the main striker not Harvetz that was missing clear chances. Chelsea will hardly win this season. They have not been great. It is just that other teams haven't been at their best. Chelsea are gradually loosing the way to lift the title because of injuries although that’s part of football but I think Thomas Tuchel made a mistake by letting Giimour leave for Norwich, he would have been a perfect replacement for Jorginho or Kante or kolvaic than singing Saul from althletico who can not adapt to Epl. Tuchel should also understand that his attackers are not scoring because the midfield are not providing assist which is very important in football, he’s missing creativity and that’s what I think is obtainable

Even though the performance of Everton have been very horrible recently, but I think Arsenal will still face a big hurdle to beat Everton when Everton are having the advantage of playing this match at their home stadium, I guess this will be a difficult game for both teams and they might have to settle for a point each with a draw at the final whistle.

Yeah, no doubt Arsenal got entirely outclassed in the second half, Liverpool were overwhelming for them and It's a clear statement that Arsenal regardless of their unbeaten run since they lost against Arsenal are no where near being able to compete with the top 3 teams in the league.
What an incredible game for Watford and Liverpool today. They work very well to beat their opponents. Liverpool who really met my expectations and managed to beat Arsenal 4 - 0. It looks like Arsenal have lost their will to fight Liverpool after the first half. Until in the second half they were defeated with a very unequal score. Liverpool is the destroyer of big teams no matter who the opponent is they will be defeated Watford also surprised no one expected them to win by 4 goals.
