The wallet file I deleted along with the rest of it. So, I do wonder that restoring it is even possible. Is there a way without the wallet.dat file? I keep thinking I'll hit a technical wall, maybe this it. If I found the drive, I don't know that I could recover the wallet.dat file from it.
to recover your coin you need something to work on like seed phrase, private key, or dat file if you don't have wallet.dat file you can't recover your coin and bitcoin wallet doesn't have seed phrase that you can use to restore your wallet but if you still have the drive, you may have a chance to restore your wallet file I'm fairly certain that there was a seed phrase but I can't be absolutely certain. A bunch of random words then?
there was no seed phrase available on old bitcoin (core) wallet, even current bitcoin core version doesn't provide seed phrase, but only hdseed

probably because copper membership is the only title that can be bought and shown off and as others have said, it's a great way to show you support the forum or just for vanity, as simple as that Well, I'm a bit jealous for staff/moderators/VIP/donators who have another custom name/rank below their usernames
But I'm also jealous, because Staff (and probably also VIP and Donators) can't display the Copper Membership even if they paid for it. Ok, it's no big deal. you shouldn't be! you wear custom title (staff) and get paid for it other people who wear custom title (copper/vip) have to paid for it

Two days later, they replied providing me a new session token for that deposit address:

I would assume you tried to change pass for an already banned account most likely.
This!! you got it right. check out the dates shown on bpip logs 3/3/2019 8:45:04 AM password reset via email 2/13/2019 8:59:16 PM Changed to Archived status Autoban user password reset was done on march 3rd, while the account was banned a month earlier on february 13th so I'm pretty sure you were NOT banned for trying to change password The most nearest case would be OP clicking on the lock account link in the password recovery email mistakenly. I don't think so, I think a locked account won't be shown on any public logs bpip scraped data from seclog and modlog, autoban was on modlog so I'm pretty sure he has broken a rule, plagiarism, spam or ban evasion, that made him get banned by mod

The only way to avoid scam projects is to educate people to avoid scam projects.
I agree, the best way to fight scam(mer) is by educating people learning/knowing how to spot a scam by yourself is better than be told by others other ways we can do to help are by tagging, flagging, and starting scam accusation thread those would alarm newbie and other people about certain shady potentially scam project or scammer

That's why I'm curious to know how and why people are so sure and stigmatize that the new / not-well-known service is definitely a scam, and what they choose as primary factors to evaluate. exactly that, new unknown service offering very high return is one of the factors well established company and proven business model would gain users trust If someone is giving you 12% on your deposit, they'd have to be lending it out at 14%. Which is impossible because no-one would borrow at those rates.
I see banks in my country gives 5% on certified time deposit and charge at least 10% on credit loans and those are yearly rate, while this "harubank" gives 12% monthly?! that means 144% yearly,... if it's not scam/ponzi then it's a very high risk investment and won't stay long

Even better would be to have inline reporting that doesn't navigate away from the page at all, sort of like the quick edit button does: yes, that is a better idea make the "report to moderator" link to open an (inline) text input to enter a report comment once the post has been reported then disable that link and change to "reported" that would make reporting job easy and prevent double reports

there was a project I joined on this forum that led to the ban of my account, ... ~ I m afraid of promoting project now because I don't know the particular project that I will promote that they won't block my account or ban me
you won't be banned for that, but you may get flagged or negative trust and since your alt was banned, you will be considered evading ban if you continue posting using Cryptomiles1 account you are right sir, but before such incident there was no warning that indicate the project was a scam project. I don't really know if I m permitted to mentioned the project over here then I will list it to you sir/ma.
you can mention the project here, but which one is your banned account? it's more likely that you were banned for plagiarism than just promoting scam project because this forum doesn't moderate scams

if you can provide more details maybe we can pinpoint the real issue here please tell us the transaction id or addresses involved, your electrum and coinbase address or a screenshot showing the transaction details on your electrum wallet my guess is either the transaction hasn't been broadcasted yet or still pending waiting confirmation

3.delete the browser data first before registering
clearing cache and cookie won't do any good in avoiding ban during registration it's an IP proxyban, you will be banned if you're registering from blacklisted IP and bitcointalk has its own records on blacklisted (evil) ip, regardless your cleaned browser data as Welsh said, just pay the fee or find a good clean IP address to register from

... Some node will remove it from mempool because it is in block. But as it is "orphaned block", the transaction is invalidate.
as you said it, "some", that means some other nodes still have it in their mempool and they will keep broadcasting it until eventually it is dropped once it reaches max relay time limit is it possible transaction is lost in bitcoin network?
in my understanding, transaction lost isn't possible in bitcoin network (decentralised) but transaction dropped from mempool is happening all the time for the reason nc50lc said and when it's dropped, you can always re broadcast it again or create a new one with higher fee

I opened a wallet on blockchain.info in 2016 and i received some btc to an address from the request tab (not imported). if you opened it early 2016, you may have a legacy wallet and that address isn't recoverable by the seed phrase did you get the seed phrase since you opened the account, or sometime after (wallet upgrade)? I don't understand how the address is located in my wallet in the used address tab but the balance doesn't show.
used or archived address tab? if archived, move it out of that tab and see if the balance/wallet reupdated correctly and if it is part of legacy wallet, you should be able to extract its private key individually can you post a screenshot showing the address (where it is located) in your wallet? you can blur sensitive info if needed

Is there any method available To see how many People place long or short from what positions on chart in crypto
afaik there is no way to figure out such data, there is no nametag on buy/sell orders so you can't tell whether it is short/long position of someone chart gives you basic information of trade volume and opening/closing price in candlestick formations which you can analyze and figure out price support, resistance and short/long market trend

Do you agree with this article about passwords and would you change your password to a longer password with a combination of random words to
I agree with this but not all long passwords are secure, the combination of random letters/numbers still matter. I second this opinion, number and punctuation increases password strength I believe longer password with common random words would be the same complexity as short uncommon word Luckily I love long complex passwords, so I am relatively safe either way. you can't call it complex if you just use a few random dictionary words I think we still need to add some symbols and/or number to make it a bit complex I prefer to use my own created words combination of dictionary words for example, correct horse battery stapple, becomes corse9&batple

... explain to me the difference between a Stop order, Limit order, and maker/taker fees.
exstasie has given pretty straight forward definition for each term if you still don't understand them, perhaps you should try learning by doing... try each with a small amount and observe the results, then you can draw your own understanding if that still doesn't work for you, try another exchange with simpler instructions/terminologies or maybe trading isn't a thing for you and you should just do direct buy/sell with your peers

I think that a useful feature in this forum could be the ability to intentionally respond to threads without sending them to the front page and without notifying respondents.
useful in what way? it's a bad idea and should not be implemented on a discussion forum this will give an opportunity for people to make a few posts secretly to gain activity and other purposes It can add incentive to discuss older threads without the fear of 'necro bumping' and also when users want to respond to a thread critically without promoting it via bumps.
responding to a very old thread still be consider necro posting and may warrant a deletion if found how would people know your reply if the thread is not bumped or no notification raised what incentive would that be if it doesn't encourage any comments or discussions if needed you can start a new thread and make a reference to old thread to continue the discussion

... i want to know does this count only apply to post deleted by mods only ?
assuming you're talking about count on bpip.org then yes it counts only those were deleted by mods bpip scraped data from bitcointalk modlog, and only post deleted by mods are recorded there If we delete the post ourself or it is deleted by Self-moderated OP or the whole thread is trashed by the mods, then in these cases how do we look at them when considering good or bad posting ?
deleted post doesn't always mean bad posting if someone deletes his own post, he may have changed his opinion and removes his comment if a self-mod OP deletes your post, it could be simply he disagrees with you or doesn't like your post and if you have a post in a thrashed thread, it won't add a count to your deleted post

Just to know feedbacks and experiences of other users with freebitco.in. I don't want to waste my time with scam faucets.
it's not scam and probably will stay that way as long as they keep profiting from their gambling section however you may still waste your time if you are hoping to get rich just from doing faucet it would take along time to get enough amount for minimum withdrawal and if you try to speed it up by playing multiply btc, big chance you will lose them all (5% house edge)Ultimately, You couldn't control any of the rolling factors that don't look fair to me. There must be at least one factor that we should control.
You can change the client seed when you click "This game is provably fair." yes, randomizing or entering your own made up seed should count as one factor you can control the only issue here the server seed is constantly changing too but still provably fair though
