741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: user to user betting on: May 30, 2017, 09:22:36 AM
any sites out and around that are popular?

Im looking to do micro betting on outcomes we can deem are guaranteed fair and not relying on knowing how to verify provably fair.
It is very difficult to find the gambling sites that serve the users by opening the gambling site like that. Sorry I do not think there is a bitcoin gambling site as you are looking for.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is the fairest bitcoin betting game you know? on: May 30, 2017, 09:20:28 AM
i know satoshi dice, and many other dice games uses sha256, traceable and provable fair.

but that's not important. the important thing is there is a banker in this game, the banker has a motivation to win, so no matter how hard he prove the result is fair, it's meaningless.

I think the fairest betting is palm up palm down, no banker, only players.
Honestly I don't understand about it but I try to believe it when playing the dice game even though there arises mind disbelief with the results I get when I experience defeat but no one can prove it.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 30, 2017, 09:18:24 AM
It is going to give them some insight on what they should do when they will gamble next time. We know that experience is always the best teacher and with those failures when we gamble, it's the one that are making our wrongs corrected. Luck is needed but if you will combine both things such as luck and skills plus experience, it's better.

Experience is a nice teacher as well as failure. When we fail , we are going to change however if we dont then we will keep on doing the same thing over and over again. Just like I did when I was still playing for profit so failing sometimes could help us to get back on the track
Not entirely true, as far as I know we rarely encounter the same situation when gambling may be only a few times and I think experience may not be helpful because it may be that when we follow something based on past experience it is not necessarily the same results.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 30, 2017, 06:37:55 AM
I heard the news stoke city will make a surprise, they will bring wayne rooney at a price of £ 45m. That's a very unbelievable price for a player who is true united manchester will sell wayne rooney to stoke city.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: May 30, 2017, 06:29:38 AM
If you are a greedy person then there is no way you can have control on your greed as every time you will think of winning more and more money and by mistake if you win at primary stage then it will surely multiply your greediness and you will start to gamble even with a higher amount of money.
Everyone of us has that greediness, but that does not mean that we cannot control, we are the one who manage ourself and we can always make a decision regardless of the situation. Being knowledgeable in gambling will eliminate your greediness because you know how risky it is to just go for the win when you do not have a plan to limit your bets.
I really agree with you, people who have extensive knowledge in gambling actually have a greater greedy character than people who do not have extensive knowledge in gambling and yes it is true if we can limit the bet then we have to control ourselves not to become greedy. Hmm IMO that's the only way
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: May 30, 2017, 06:16:09 AM
I made the mistake once of maxing out the slots in 1 spin and lost .347 btc.  IN ONE SPIN, oh my gosh that was a moment of absolute panic, my heart was loud in my ears, my breath turned into panting, and I was almost passing out.  Bad day indeed!

I had moments like this one, your max single bet was just higher then mine, I was playing slots on 20 30 mBTC per spin, and 0.5 BTC gone very fast, I think I lost everything everything in couple minutes.
Also I have one story for roulette,  I'm not sure but I had more then 0.25 BTC I started to bet on red, and on red and on red, my last bet was around 0.1 and something but even after 15 blacks, and couple green's I didn't get red and I lost everything in minute or two.
Yeah I think many have experienced the same case as you guys, that's why we have to be careful before gambling. Such as preparing the strategy and how much the value of the bet we will make. it's important if you wont get same accidents.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In which bitcoin gambling casinos should i invest my bitcoins ? on: May 30, 2017, 06:11:33 AM
Coming from someone who co-owns a site that offers house bankroll contributions (Moneypot.com), unless you have a worked out deal, know the owners personally and/or are able to easily connect to them and have their personal details, you should be diversifying between a few sites to minimize variance and risk of ruin.

That's really scary to think that you, as a co-owner of a casino that receives investments, is thinking that there is a great chance that there would be some owners that will run away with the money of the investors. You are technically saying, "diversify, because we don't know if they will run for the money!" Which I hope the casino owners don't do.
I think it's a risk that must be faced if you choose to invest, there is no way to prevent it from happening. The only thing that makes your money safe if the owner of the site is an honest person and he is serious about running the business run.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 29, 2017, 01:14:51 PM
Playing in the Europa league is way harder and tougher than playing in the champions league, Arsenal are going to find it very tough there, I wish there were not in any European competition, that would have helped them dominate the Premier League next season.
Premier League is the league with the busiest schedule and busy, just imagine for a season there are some tournaments that must be a team to follow in addition to the Premier League. Namely EFL, FA Cup, and others.
Not to mention if a team plays at UCL or UEL, they are required to play 3 times a week and this makes a coach have to rack his brain because after all, they have to earn point by point in any game to get the title and achievements in that season. So, no wonder a lot of teams from the Premier League who competed at UCL always get defeat before getting to the final game.
It seems arsenal will have trouble bringing in some new players because they only play in european league cup. I also heard that alexis sanchez and ozil will leave from arsenal.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ballon d'Or discussion and odds on: May 29, 2017, 01:10:56 PM
Who will win Ballon d'or 2016 ?

Club & country:

Cristiano Ronaldo - 51 goals / 17 assists

Leo Messi - 56 goals / 32 assists

What do you think? What are the odds ?
Looks ronaldo will win ballon d'or this year due they got much more thropy than lionel messi even though messi have made many goals and assit but it will not help him to get ballon d'or.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: May 29, 2017, 01:07:42 PM
In gambling we just know about two things
These are
Win or lose
But the question is when you do betting
You always lose
You do realize about it but why we still go through on betting place?!!!
Apologoze if my topic have already exist it just about my interesting about your opinion about my experiences
In my opinion we do always gamble because when everytime we lose our mindset is to recover our lose and same goes if we won...by that process we will become addicted to it. I recommend that you ought to control yourself when playing gambling and use it only for fun.
I think it only applies to people who do not have activities, I used to be like that but after I have activities. I can stop after a defeat even though yes there is a sense of wanting to restore my defeat but I still stop right then and try again in another day.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees!!! on: May 29, 2017, 01:02:35 PM
Of course not because they pay you according to the amount of your bet and they will increase the transaction fee in order to keep the transaction confirmed. I think it's a risk we're gambling with bitcoin, gaining more profit when prices go up and suffering losses when prices go down.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: May 29, 2017, 12:57:53 PM
Not everybody has a problem gambling, but if you are a problem gambler, there is a support network they may help you. It starts with you recognizing the problem.

Start here:
http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/content/20-questions

Let's work on this together, you're not alone and you don't need to suffer from your addiction. If you have solutions or have the compassion to provide moral support, please help by participating in this thread.
I've honestly been this way in the past and this way does not help anything. I'm sorry to say that because gambling addiction can only stop if we want it or when we've run out of money and I think it's only like a survey.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is winning at Sports betting actually possible ? on: May 29, 2017, 12:52:18 PM
I am just an amateur gambler and bet on sports. i saw this thread today on the forum of a tipster ajaxmoor and he is destroying his picks. i think he has more than enough wins i have ever seen in a row. If tipsters can predict games like that how are sportbooks not losing money ? is it just luck ?
Easy, everyone does not follow what tipters suggest. Most gamblers will bet on what they want. Do you know how many thousands of matches in one day ?? It is not possible to bet on the same game then of course gambling sites will not lose their money.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategy! on: May 29, 2017, 12:45:28 PM
I love playing poker and I mught say that I consider myself a good player. I usualy have my own strategy which is mainly to play very agressive.

So, what are your main strategy when playing Poker?

I also like an aggressive and loose play, because it makes much harder for my opponents to read my hand. Of course it's a very hard way to play, and sometimes it gets me in trouble, but it also gets more fun this way. If I was a professional poker player I would be like Gus Hansen lol, but it's very hard to play like him xD
I usually play cautiously most of the time, never going in with weak hand and once a while I go crazy and aggressive with a weak hand. This usually works at first because after you were so quietly folding they think you got to have something now, and you have the biggest crap Cheesy On the other hand when I have a good hand I hope someone else will raise first so that I can follow and get them to put more money on the table. I guess these are typical moves, many people play like that.

Yes it's true. I think the most important thing in poker is to vary your style of play. If you play tight, you can pull off a bluff from time to time, if you play lose, you can get a lot of money from your big hands. So yes, everything may work well, if you make a good reading and play with your image a bit.

yeah the key is to be  unpredictable and to be observant of your opponent's smallest moves. this is what makes poker a great game. it plays with different aspects and not just luck. it's fun to watch pro poker matches where you can even see players wearing masks to hide their emotions

Correct, when I started to play porker, I was very predictable. My opponent know if I'm just bluffing or not. So I can the way I play it. It was just an amateur table I played it locally but there was a lot of players.  I played there every week in my height of my addiction. Sometimes I played very loud and talking with a lot of my opponents in the table to throw them off. But there was time I just keep quiet and totally focus on the game. I also learn how to read some of them, even caught them bluffing.  So its very important to be unpredictable indeed and it can work for you if you know how to used it.
I think it's natural, the first time playing poker certainly all would be easy on the guess because we do not have experience and it will disappear with the passage of time. I also like it as if they know my cards.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: May 26, 2017, 12:56:22 AM
One of the best gambling method to earn is to invest in gambling site/casino. So far, it has been quite a simple profit method as some of the TS already have shown weekly profit from casino.

I think that is the best, not just one of them, but the best way to turn gambling to a profitable activity. But I think, just like gambling, it is still based on how the gamblin site earn profit, if the site has no profit at all, you will be not also habing profit.
I think it's hard to make gambling a profitable activity, surely one day we'll either lose on the way to win or some moments after you've won. Nah, the problem is how can we find the way that can make us you still profit.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: May 26, 2017, 12:43:04 AM
I dont know about gold history but i doubt it had double its value in the same time as bitcoin is doing, from 2015  it went from 300 to 600 dollars with halving, since the halving price went up a lot today it reached 2400 dollars, soo at this stage bitcoin is better then any other investment.
Yeah i'm agree because i know the price of gold is very slow and it's hard to expect big profits when investing in gold. This is very different from the bitcoin which in 2017 experienced some pretty steep price increases and I think bitcoin is the best investment even compared with gold.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: May 26, 2017, 12:34:05 AM
If you manage to save bitcoins for a long time then it will definitely help you in positive way and will give you best returns on your investments in future so I am not spending my coins at a moment as I am sure that it will hold much higher value in future.
Which definitely keeps the bitcoin in the long run is giving you an advantage on the investment you have. Because bitcoin prices will definitely continue to rise. So if you sell it in the future you must be lucky
If you see the trend in a month is indeed very surprising, I think in the short term will be quite high, I hope in the long run will continue to rise

I will continue to rise, but we are still not immune to its potential to drop by a big margin. That is how bitcoins is, it's very volatile but it has a great potential to grow than to just drop and die. We just really need it to be accepted by more people and we need to implement a way to speed up transactions.

Holding it is a risk but Im certain that bitcoin will continue to rise no matter what besides theres no fruit if will not to risk it.
Holding is not a risk anymore and the result of holding for longer time is already obvious to everyone in the current month and those who have hold their bitcoin from longer got the fruits of their patience and those who were in doubt about bitcoin are regretting now.
Yeah to this day holding still has no risk but we never know what will happen in the future, there could be bitcoin tadingan so it can make bitcoin prices fall even to become worthless again. I guess holding bitcoin for that long period of time there is a big risk.
758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any thoughts on the price drop today? on: May 26, 2017, 12:28:30 AM
Hey everyone, I was wondering what you guys think attributed to the price drop we saw today.
It's normal to happen, it's so unreasonable that prices keep rising and and i think the price is still on a positive track in this year even though bitcoin price down.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 25, 2017, 07:51:28 PM
Not much people around me ask bitcoin to me, there are only a few people but their judgment is still bad against bitcoin because they say how bitcoin prices increase much only in a short time. I've tried to say that bitcoin has been accepted as a currency by some countries, you know what they tell to me if bitcoin is money game.
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 25, 2017, 07:44:11 PM
At this pace BTC will hit $5,000 until the end of the year! Every BTC holder must know this: you will own a fortune in a few years!

Is $10,000 reachable? I guess it's clear that it is!  (2-3 years)

For me this is a very reasonable prediction but the time is too short maybe 4-5 years is reasonable time for bitcoin to touch that level. i know many people have said bitcoin will hit $50,000,$100,000 and the crazy one they say bitcoin price will hit $1 million.
