Successfully deposited 1GB to Cryptox.pl Successfully sold 1GB for .019BTC Successfully withdrew .019BTC
The deposit took about 5 minutes to confirm, and the withdrawal was nearly instant. The user interface on Cryptox.pl is a bit different from what I'm used to, but not at all complicated. Looks good.

I won't commit CLAMsphemy by mentioning another project by name in the CLAMs thread, but CLAMmers might like to know that there is a snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain being taken on Christmas Eve. There are a few thousand addresses registered for the distribution, containing quite alot of BTC.

ahh, good to know! i came here checking for signs of a good time to pick up a few more CLAMS, but will definitely wait now till the free ones upcoming dump No, there is NOT a new upcoming CLAMs distribution. The distribution is another project unrelated to CLAMs. I just mentioned it because CLAMs was distributed in a "snapshot" manner, and so some CLAMmers remain interested in this distribution style. I'm not going to comment any more on this since it is not really a CLAMs topic. I would delete my previous post if there were not already replies, so moderator, please feel free to do so.

Market activity suggests that this is a plot to buy cheap coins. Volume is way up and price is largely unchanged. Buy or hold.

Gary Le sent out this mass email today. Leaves more questions than answers. Hi ZCoiners, I'm Gary Le, cofounder of ZCoin. Poramin (previous contractor for Zcoin) has decided to create his own separate cryptocurrency, not related to Zcoin. We will continue to develop MTP, and you can see the progress on our Github here: https://github.com/zcoinproject/zcoin Other improvements on wallet stuff will come out soon. Finally, please make sure NOT to pull from the code from the “zcoinofficial” repo on github, because that is now a separate cryptocurrency from Zcoin. The link for download of the Zcoin cryptocurrency is here: https://github.com/zcoinproject/zcoin The Zcoin project will continue with renewed vigor. We have some exciting updates to make, including opening up a 6% founder’s reward fund which will go towards continued development and promotion of the project. The bounty fund will be fully transparent and open to all members of the Zcoin community. If you want to get involved with Zcoin, please let me know. PS: Please inform your pool operators and exchanges to update to the Zcoin wallet here ( https://github.com/zcoinproject/zcoin ) asap. Regards, Gary Le

I notice I have an old V1.0 START wallet from 2014. I see there was a method for converting the old START into new START a couple years ago. Is V2.0 an entirely different blockchain from V1.0, or is the wallet file just structured differently? I tried starting up a 2.0 client with a 1.0 wallet and the balance remains unconfirmed after a day running.

With our sister coin trading at a few million dollars each, it should be a good day for us: http://imgur.com/a/Sf5EuI have seen that number as high as 5000btc per ZEC, for orders up to .5BTC Supernova has a couple hundred thousand hashes per second and the frontend is almost always down, so there is very very little supply in the wild.

Kraken just sent out an email that Zcash trading will commence in the morning. With a supply of almost zero and this hype, we haven't seen anything quite like this. Here's a paste of the email text: http://pastebin.com/q7wr8Wv2

H/s is decreasing.......getting really tough to mine....plus price isn't helping either
I've got 1,560 8-cores on it atm. ec2? Yup. Curious. What method do you use to connect to such a large number of instances? I'm assuming you're sending identical commands to them all at once through an SSH client, but I also assume you didn't cut and paste 1000 different IP's into the SSH client to make the initial connections. Following this thread over the past couple weeks has been a great learning experience when it comes to VPS mining techniques. Thanks to those who have shared experiences here. Those were just the threads I needed to pull in Google searches to get better set up for Zcash mining.

Yeah, those are indeed developer/investor addresses from the "Founders' Reward". Before volume drops off after the Zcash launch, they need to be more transparent about these transactions. Otherwise, the uncertainty will drive everyone down.

Net Hash has increased considerably.......something is not right I think.
Network H/s is about 320,000, about where it has been all day. With the Bittrex listing came another 100,000H/s.

9AM in China now(one country, one time zone). That's my guess why there is more buy support over the past hour.
|
|
|
Confused, what is the network has rate? When I look on supernova I see about 315 kH/s for global hash rate but when I look on the wallet it says "networkhashps" : 181995, aren't these the same thing or no?
Your wallet probably isn't synced because the network rate is over 300,000H/s at this moment.

.005 - If I was trading instead of mining and holding, this is where I'd be buying back in.
Today is a good day to update your blocked list on bitcointalk.

Network hashrate has hovered around 200,000H/s for the past few days. Overnight it jumped by 50%. Looks like this new miner(s) are just dumping onto the market, based on the price. Hold onto your XZC. The next couple weeks is going to be a wild ride.

New Windows pre-release binary worked fine the first time I ran it on my Windows 10 machine. The second time I started it, no new blocks were received. It started off on the last block it received the last time it ran, so no resync, but it never loaded any new blocks. Here's the debug.log for developer reference: http://pastebin.com/M8gLSStr

When building Zcoin 0.1.1 on Linux 16.04 I had to add: sudo apt-get install libdb++-dev Other than that I just used the dependencies listed on the documentation page: https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.mdAnd confirmed, no resync. Version info reads same as previous version: "version" : 80702, "protocolversion" : 90014, "walletversion" : 60000,
