The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Why all the 'anonymous' huge miners are mining on Suprnova...?  Huh

Share some hash to pool.mn at least! OC is the man, but it is not good to concentrate all the hash on a single pool.

Because pool.mn is so bad. I was the biggest miner on pool.mn for 5 days but it doesn't get better and pool owner doesn't respond.
ocminer is always active so the choice is obvious.

We're not so active here but you can always reach us by PM or by mail, sorry if we missed a PM, for now we drop fee to 0% on https://pool.mn/xzc

https://pool.mn - 0.99% fee

New Windows pre-release binary worked fine the first time I ran it on my Windows 10 machine. The second time I started it, no new blocks were received. It started off on the last block it received the last time it ran, so no resync, but it never loaded any new blocks.

Here's the debug.log for developer reference: http://pastebin.com/M8gLSStr

Unlikely, it's not worth it, this algo is all about mem speed and I was told cpu - > ram is actually faster than gpu - > vram

dunno, he is claiming 500% faster than a i7 with a 750ti, which seems unlikely...

he's probably drunk again... :-)
besides, since the algo is gonna change soon, there is no reason to make a gpu miner, especially since it's likely to be less efficient than cpu (at least initially).

No rush!
Zcoin algo was already changed once from scrypt-n to lyra.
Don't be in rush mode to mine with gpu. Soon means 6-8 month.
I don't want a coin that it's forked every month with a new algo.

Is there a max limit of Zcoin?
It's almost the same as bitcoin. 21 mil coins. block reward is 50, except 10 of those go to the devs and investors.

Hi everyone.
I do not understand the discussion around the algo.
I find the CPU Mining for me very well, since I can also get profits with my hardware without getting a shock in the Electricty bill.
I think everyone algo is a problem for no big Players (me too).
At CPU Mining it is the botnet, at GPU Mining it is the mining farms.
There is enough Coins with GPU Algo Smiley for the mining farms.

just to be clear: I don't think there's any gpu miner available; I also don't think it's worth developing it, and I'm not alone.

Yes of course, google does not allow the mining with the servers /service.
Alternative is DigitalOcean or another cheap VPS.
