1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin to you??? on: May 20, 2015, 12:09:18 PM
Hey guys, everyone has their own meaning on what they think Bitcoin really is...

Is it somewhat a "come and go" currency for you as everytime it comes to you, you exchange it for fiat???

Is it a revolution for you in the world of fiat???

Is it something extraordinary which a guy named Satoshi gave us as a gift???

What do you feel about Bitcoins???

Let's share and discuss about it...

Bitcoin is a way to store wealth and spend it online, later on or in an other country someday.

3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Capitalism vs Communism on: May 03, 2015, 02:19:38 PM
Cons of the Communism society:

Contrary to popular belief , the " survival Of the fittest" is not on Capitalism, its on Communism.

Money is often used to hide lack of intelligence, creativity or just pshysical or mental qualities..

In the Communism society from above, the talent will be rewarded not with money but with visible "titles" or "rewards" to continúe the human progression, those rewards will worth more than actual money because today money can be gotten from many sources not only "success", it can be given even for free.

So with this rewards, the people that is just "stupid" or below average will be more visible, stupid people could expect some kind of social bullyng or exclusión from various activities.

Communism is the exploitation of many by a few and capitalism is sacrificing the weak for the overal best of the society.

Would have been cheaper to pay them off.  Huh

Give them the 10 BTC bounty so we can all go back to making money.  Undecided

Are you really that ignorant to think that's how it works?  They're spending money to ddos attack, if you start paying them why would they stop?  Remind me to never hire you to be my hostage negotiator.
I am wandering what makes you think that they are spending money?
I do agree that paying ransom is not the solution but ....spending money....it sounds like you have internal info or what?

Computers cost money, electricity costs money, internet access costs money, people's time costs money.  All of those things are required for ddos attacks, how did you think it was done?

The ransom has to be more than 10 BTC and if they pay the ransom, they are not even sure the attackers will stop.
5  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auctioning Member Account on: March 15, 2015, 09:19:01 AM
Does the account have negative trust?

To everyone I advise you to buy the account with caution. The account may be resulted in a ban soon as there are many cases like these which have happened before. I am not saying this is a scam but just watch out.

It doesn't have negative trust.

If you're not interested in buying, don't post. I know what you sig campaign guys do.

Buying an account requires some trust from the buyer and you have negative trust on the account you use to sell an other account : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=479371
If done right and carefully, you can give some protection to the buyer so he accepts to buy from you.

WHERE CAN I TRUST 100% TO INVEST MY COINS for garentee payback
CAN ANY ONE SUGGEST ME ?

No where!
There's not even 100% chance that you or i will be alive tomorrow
So don't ask for 100% chance
And with investment online there are always risks , so you're better off with trading
Trading is even more risky if you are inexperienced. Even experienced people lose money at times. Trading is like gambling as it's all about luck, it may just crash any moment. One wrong move is what you need.

Smart trading is all about limiting your risk to the lowest level. Nobody knows or can accurately predict where the market is heading next thus it's good to hedge your position. When I was on fx trading, my worst enemy is basically myself and how to control my emotions. That would be the first hurdle.

Smart trading is also maximising your profits and not close winning positions to soon

Is it true that Warren Buffet said that Bitcoin had a huge potential? Is it the cause of the rebound?
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2015, 02:51:53 PM
looks like swaps begin to turn bullish

Very bullish, futures are bullish and I see a lot of support so I decided to make a big move and buy a large amount for the first time. If I decided to do it, I imagine others will do it too.

mmmm, no, I wont.

You wont but I will try.

Lol dude, youre just following chinese P&D scheme. BTC hasnt touched decent support level to recover yet.

Hmm I still haven't decided if I will short or long.. Any thoughts?

Long! Wall Street is buying gold and some traders who know bitcoins are buying bitcoins because they know what is coming to hit us.
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Good site to buy Bitcoins with debit/credit card? on: January 23, 2015, 03:12:50 PM
You can withdraw some cash from your debit/credit and buy through localbitcoins.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: USD investments with guaranteed ROI? on: January 05, 2015, 06:59:13 PM
Stay the fuck away from the U.S markets, invest in countries like Canada and so on that are keeping their distance from the dollar I would always say that cryptocurrencies, gold and silver are your best bet but if you are comfortable investing then go for it, what I would do is wait for a crash because even the countries dumping the dollar will be affected and it will be easy to buy up otherwise expensive international companies.

A guaranteed ROI in a few months is hard to find but you could buy oil, sugar, toilet papers and such in bulk and save up to 30%. It is a good and easy deal that will guarantee you a nice profit with an investment of 500$.
You can keep the money on your checking account to avoid overdraft fees if you usually get those.
Try to think of an investment of 500$ that will save you some money on gas, electricity, transport or such.

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be 1 year from today (feb 2015)? on: January 05, 2015, 05:33:51 PM
I like to look at past trends and the history of bitcoin has been phenominal.  What price do you think 1 btc will cost one year from today (feb 2015)?

From seeing the past trend it seems to be exponential to me.

6000$ in a year is my prediction.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitstamp was hacked - Speculation on: January 05, 2015, 05:11:26 PM
Let's assume for the moment that Bitstamp was breached by hackers and at least all hot storage coins are lost. What do you think it would happen to the price? What do you think it will happen with all those sad fellows that lost the coins? And what do you think it will happen to the Bitcoin image?

I guess the price won't be affected too much at least few days.

I guess most of those that lost their coins will never come back to bitcoin again.

And I guess the media will be all over the bad news and Bitcoin's image will suffer the most.

Anyway, it happened before, it will happen again. That's the price for using CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES.

It is possible that the problems are bigger than what Bitstamp is saying.

Happy to escrow in GBP , just contact on my email and arrange a price in GBP . . . then set up the escrow

I don't really want BTC anymore , escrow seems risky given the prices.
I need to escrow in GBP , BTC is dead . Im done with it.

Anyone from the UK who does escrow would be able to do this very easy.

Keep some BTC in case you are wrong Wink
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would you be? on: January 05, 2015, 04:42:16 PM

Have you been to Dubai?

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is going viral on: January 05, 2015, 04:35:38 PM
Evaluate this statement.

It is not going viral but each day more people know about Bitcoin in number and in percentage of the world population than the day before.
