When we talk of investment, there isn't exist a 100% of security. The rule is always the same "invest only the money" that you are afford to lose". Good luck.

Op, don't throw your coins away. If you invest in some scheme you'll likely just lose all your coins and be left with nothing. Just hold them, but if you do choose to invest there is no guaranteed payout and just be aware of the risks.

Better hold on to your bitcoins or try trading on altcoins and get more BC in return if you have invested wisely on profitable altcoins.
If you dont trust altcoions then trade only with BTC with other currency and improve from there. DO not invest on Ponzis since there are a lot being promoted at this time.
Avoid gambling as well.

There is no such thing as 100% trust or guaranteed payback when it comes to crypto's.
If evaluating a person is something that comes easy to you, i would check btcjam, or lending section here on forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0
Just make sure u take a good collateral, and you should be relatively safe.

Nothing in the world is guaranteed, especially when it comes to investments.  That's why you always see or hear those disclaimers, investing is risky, you can you lose your hat yada yada.

I'd suggest first you read up and learn as much as possible about Bitcoin and Crypto in general, ask questions, then when you feel comfortable about the technology and ideology, only then should you consider getting involved.

Once you do commit, you'll have to take the proper steps like selecting the right wallet for you.  If you plan to buy  a large amount, meaning thousands of dollars, then best to get a secure desktop wallet with paper wallet as backup.  You can download the client here:

After you've downloaded your wallet on a PC with good antivirus and security software installed, you'll have to buy BTC from a trusted source like Coinbase, Circle, or from seller with high trust ratings on LocalBitcoins.  After you transfer the purchased Bitcoin to your PC wallet, it's highly recommended to setup a paper wallet as backup, which you can do here:

Once you've secured your paper wallet in a safe or something like that, sit on it for 5 years, come back to it in 2020, and open your finest Brandy, Bourbon, or Scotch and pour yourself a glass.  Open your safe, pull out the paper wallet, Sip your drink until completion, and good or bad just take it all in.  You'll know in 5 years if it was worth it.

You need to read up on money and why there is no such thing as a guarantee of return. Having said that, you will have no trouble getting offers to double or tipple your BTC. But let's think with our brain for a moment. If they could double bitcoin why the fuck would they want your bitcoin?

Bitcoin is not an investment, it's money and nothing more.

I've never come across such a thing but for whatever reason if there is anything called 100% guaranteed then it best to stay away. Rule of thumbs is that if it sounds too good to be true then better get away as soon as possible.
