2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To all women in bitcoin world on: March 14, 2023, 02:00:04 PM
Happy international women's day to all the hardworking women here.
Greetings to African women in particular, since they suffer more than the rest of the world.

Why do women in Africa suffer more than the rest of the world? I think there are happy and miserable people everywhere, no place is more miserable than anywhere. To be fair, although the world has become fairer, I still see that there is something male has priority over female, the distinction has not entirely disappeared. Women are always more disadvantaged than men, both in the family as well as in society.

But today is their day, give them the best. Happy World Women's Day, hope the world becomes more and more equal.

I think women are more disadvantaged in Africa as a result of culture. Right from time immemorial, women are seen to be lesser in value compared to men. That is why you will see a man becoming angry with his wife simply because the wife gave to birth girls only. But the people are becoming more civilized and women are now begining to gain relevance. I believe with time things will still get better.

Today we have many great women from Africa, a very good example is Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala the current Director General of the World Trade Organization. I'm proud to be a woman.

4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Demilitarization of Iran and Russia. The path to peace and tranquility on Earth on: March 07, 2023, 10:46:12 AM
Tonight marked the defeat of Iranian military enterprises. The goal is to reduce the danger from rabid terrorists who dream of destroying Israel, the secondary effect is to stop or minimize the supply of UAVs and possibly ballistic missiles from Iran, the technologically backward Russian army.

Where it leads ? There are not many options, but very few real ones. The regime of fanatics will probably try to raise a tantrum against Israel, but ... The Iranian regime of the ayatollah will not dare to start real military operations against Israel. They know perfectly well that although relations between Israel and the United States are tense, the United States guarantees the preservation of Israel. And the blow to Iran will be global. There is nothing like the Russian army - destroying peaceful cities and killing unarmed citizens of Ukraine. The blow will be inflicted on the top of Iran, the generals, the "tame dogs of the regime" such as the guards, warehouses, barracks. Those. totalitarian power will be destroyed in the literal sense, from the head to the servants, and power will be transferred to the free people of Iran!

Also waiting for Russia. After its start of economic terror against the EU, about 15 years ago, before unleashing a terrorist war in Europe, against Ukraine, Russia made itself a pariah all over the world, revealing all the fakeness of its politics, economy, military power. But if Iran is a "local terrorist", then Russia is an international terrorist, without any morality. Therefore, Russia is waiting not only for demilitarization, but also for total denazification, and ideally, the division of Russia into several independent states.

Interested in your opinion about the 3-5-10 year prospects for the process of "pacifying" the international terrorists mentioned above and others falling under their description.

By the way came very interesting news from Iran.
I won’t write about the destruction statistics yet, not all the data is available yet, but a significant number of production sites, warehouses and much more have been destroyed. But what is the interesting nuance?
Iran's air defense includes Russian "unparalleled", according to the Kremlin, "super air defense systems". Namely:
S-300 ZRK 4 divisions
S-200 ZRK 10
Tor-M1 ZRK 29
Pantsir-S1 SAM about 20

the last two positions are used to protect the most important nuclear industry facilities and strategically important industries. And it was they who ... missed 90% of the strikes on objects ON THEIR territory. A good call to those who are still thinking about buying Russian iron junk, which is passed off as "unparalleled weapons" Smiley

Oh yes. According to Iran's official data, almost all drones / missiles were shot down ... And the fire and explosions are all special effects planned in advance Smiley)))

Iran and Russia are the problems of the world, there are still some other countries perpetrating evil in the name of fighting terrorists. They carry their tanks about, invading other countries and causing unrest.
An example of such wicked act happened in Libya, where a North American country invaded, killed Gadafi and caused serious fight and unrest in the country.
Every country should be in check to avoid unnecessary invasion. My own submission.

I really wanna hear ur comments about this ,

We have all lived in this country and we know what is good and bad in our country

So what's ur own reply who is taking Nigeria to her promice land ??

It's very obvious that Peter Obi was and still remains the people's choice. The greatest problem we're facing here in Nigeria is corruption and Peter Obi happens to be among the very few Nigerian politicians not indicted by any security agency for corruption.

For me I believe he will do better but the problem is, will they (the cabal) allow justice to prevail?
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump on kids' transgender surgeries: Under my leadership this madness will end on: February 14, 2023, 08:18:24 PM
Do you like transgenderism? Move to another country.

Trump on kids' transgender surgeries: 'Under my leadership this madness will end'

https://www.wnd.com/2023/02/trump-kids-transgender-surgeries-leadership-madness-will-end/
Former president and now-GOP candidate Donald Trump vowed Tuesday to mobilize the full power of the presidency and federal government against gender-transition "mutilations" of children and "left-wing gender insanity" in schools, should he win the White House again.

In a short video speech, Trump vowed to "revoke Joe Biden's cruel policies on so-called 'gender affirming care,'" a euphemism embraced by the media and LGBT advocates – "a process that includes giving kids puberty blockers, mutilating their physical appearance and ultimately performing surgery on minor children."

"The left-wing gender insanity being pushed on our children is an act of child abuse," Trump boldly declared.

"I will sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition at any age," he said. "I will then ask Congress to permanently stop federal taxpayer dollars from being used to promote or pay for these procedures and pass a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states. It'll go very quickly."

Trump leveled perhaps his strongest verbal fusillade to date against a Big Transgender agenda that his administration resisted on several levels before Biden reversed Trump's policies piece by piece. Democrat Biden's presidency is the most radically pro-transgender and pro-LGBT in American history, with both he and his appointees (including biological-man-turned-"trans woman"-activist Dr. Rachel Levine) even promoting "gender transition" to young people.

Trump's no-nonsense plan would not only overturn Biden's trans policies, but also take on the widespread promotion of radical gender ideology in schools.
...

Cool

Why perform transgender surgery on a minor? If you wish to do such let it be on your own body. When the kid grows up he or she can decide on what to do with his or her own body. I don't support this at all.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Marijuana in the United States on: February 14, 2023, 06:33:58 PM
A number of territories, district and well over twenty states in the US have legalized recreational use of canabis. But considering it's many negative health implications,is it a step in the right direction or is it completely risky to continue legalizing it?
What's your take?

I don't see marijuana intake as a problem. Where it becomes a problem is when you're taking it at the expense of others. Just ensure you're taking good care of yourself medically and don't be a nuisance to the society nothing more.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you have engaged in the war if you were the Ukrainian President? on: February 14, 2023, 06:21:22 PM
Majority of the replies here is an indication that war is bad and not an option. In a war, both the Victor and the Vanquish have something to lose, especially the lives of the innocent civilians.
This war has lingered, I hope the two countries would find reasons to end it already to save the continuous loss of lives and properties.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you have engaged in the war if you were the Ukrainian President? on: February 13, 2023, 10:07:43 PM
A wall is a specially net for the soldiers not for the individuals or students or civilians so if I should we found myself into such country I don't think that I will participate in such a wall so it depends the kind of war that is happening in Ukraine but I know that there is no level or situation we found ourselves in Ukraine that to make everybody to participate in such a war between Russia and the Ukraine their most to be a selected people which is soldiers police never officers and any other parliamentary

I understand your point but it seems you didn't understand my own point. I know the men on uniform such as the military fight the war. But somebody has to declare the and the person is President.
So I'm asking if you would declare war if you were the Ukrainian President?
11  Other / Politics & Society / Would you have engaged in the war if you were the Ukrainian President? on: February 13, 2023, 03:35:23 PM
After reading through some articles online I realized that despite the negative effects of war, there are still positive outcomes that can be achieved through war.
This brought my attention to the Russian Ukraine war that lasted about 1 year now.

Some positive effects that result from war include "the correction of injustices, the defeat of a problematic government, advancement in technology and medicine, and a reduction of unemployment".

1. My question now is, has Ukraine achieved any of these positive outcomes in the course of the war?

2. As President, would you engage in a war to achieve any of these positive outcomes?
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do not invest in crypto from loans. on: February 12, 2023, 11:02:02 AM
I heard that there were people who invested in crypto, and ended up buying crypto and their money from loans, but it's a shame they suffered losses because they invested in altcoins, but they lacked knowledge and lessons about crypto. but with this incident it made me think that investing in crypto should not result from loans because,,,
will make the mind uneasy, and always in the shadow of the deposit every month.

so in my opinion, don't invest from borrowed money because there will be potential losses, what do you think, do you agree with me?

With the little information I've gotten so far about cryptocurrency and trading, one should invest what he can afford to lose. Imagine investing with loan and at the end of the day you lost out, what will you do?
For me it's not a good idea.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is marriage a kind of punishment? on: February 12, 2023, 10:53:15 AM
I am working on an article on relationships and marriages. In my part of the world marriage feels like punishment on the female gender. In the days of old as I learnt, it was the responsibility of the man to provide and protect the family but in today’s society, men relax and have the women do almost everything. I observed this most in Nigeria or African. women grow old faster once married. I take instances from my neighbours, family and the society. The man on any day wakes up, take his bath, dress up, eat and off to work if he has one. The woman is the cook, launder, housekeeper, nanny, hand lady, errand girl, cleaner, and she must be working etc. just name it and she must not complain, she must not be tired. For real this is happening don’t think am just assuming. I see it live. Why is it so? I once asked a man in this case, why he maltreats his wife like a slave and he said no reasonable man is allowed to do house chores or assist in anything. The work of the man is to bring money that’s all. Can this be true?  Will you like your sisters, daughters, neighbours, friend  be treated badly in the name of marriage? Let’s talk. No abuses or insult please. I need soul lifting contribution.

Marriage shouldn't be a punishment at all. My experience  in marriage so far has been very amazing. Everything is all about understanding. My husband helps me do house chores when ever he can, but that doesn't make it his duty. I have always appreciated him for helping out and he does it on his on will. Don't treat your partner bad or as a slave. Love should lead us all.

15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you marry your current spouse again? on: February 11, 2023, 02:37:49 PM
Some religions believe there is life after death. Others believe in reincarnation, having the hope that you would come back to the world after death. Do you also think that you would be happy if your ex-husband or wife comes back? The increase in the rate of divorce is making me think that people are no longer happy in marriage. In my religion (Christianity), we believe in life after death but there would be no marriage in heaven or hell.

My question now is that for those that are or were married, would you love to marry your husband or wife in the afterlife? Do you think you would be happy and comfortable with your spouse if you come back to the world after death? Would be happy to remarry your ex-spouse?

I will still marry my spouse again and again. This is my 3 years into this marriage and I have every reason to be happy that I made the right choice in marriage.

Sometimes we disagree but we always have our way of making sure that every dispute is settled amicably.

Power is Power,
Money is also Power.

So, if you're too choose one, what you down for ?
Power or Money ?

I will go for money. Yes, with money you can get to the corridor of power and even power its self. A very good example is the influence the world's richest
men have across the globe.

The only thing that keeps giving me the freedom vibe right now is Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the only innovation that keeps me a bit ahead of the Government.

I am sure that some millionaires and billionaires out there are already sicken of the government and it's banking system.

They monitor you when you made some deposits in the bank.

They sit you down and start asking questions when you are ready to use your hard earned money.

They use your money behind your back to invest for themselves.

This is why I strongly believe that Bitcoin will forever keep it's value intact, do make sure that you at least have 50% of your fund in Bitcoin, whatever your crypto dream might be make sure Bitcoin has its place in your hardware wallet.

This is a good advice. Here in my country I have seen people invited by the government security agency because of some huge transactions that occur in the bank accounts. Some times, some people's bank accounts are being frozen, restricting them from embarking on business deals.

But so far, I've not heard of any single case of a bitcoin holder being called upon for interogation for whatever reason.

20  Other / Off-topic / Re: lending money to people. on: December 02, 2022, 09:08:51 AM
The biggest fear with lending money to someone is getting the money back, and no matter how we decide not to give again after someone we have given before refused to pay back you'll find out that there are still some people that you still give regardless of your strong decision to stop lending money. What are biggest factors you consider before giving to these people? For me, I consider if the person is reliable and someone that keeps to their words, the persons financial status to know if they can actually pay back the money especially when it is a big amount, and I consider our relationship.

There is saying that says "only lend to people what you can afford to forfeit". This is because even those you believe are reliable might still fail to pay back as a result of one reason or the other. The debtor might lose his job, face a serious financial problem resulting from a failed business and so many other reasons. Always consider the above mentioned reasons when lending money to someone.
