And just for the kicks here's an RX 570 8gb doing 1260 H/s on Cryptonight-Heavy.

What sorcery is this? Would you mind sharing us your settings and straps?  Shocked
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gateless Gate Sharp 1.3.7: 30Mh/s (Ethash) on RX 480! on: May 09, 2018, 03:46:15 AM

Thanks for ignoring me. My posts to find right intensity from 112 to 124 you just ignored.
Anyway you must know that cards with different manufacters even with the same type of memory must not work on the same timings on the same clocks.
For example, Saphire Nitro+ with hynix mjr will good work on 2150MHz memory clock on timings
999000000000000022339D00CEDD6B4470551414B80D960B0040C400750314204A8900A00200000 018123745B92B3A16

but MSI Gaming X with the same hynix mjr on these timings didn't work even on 2100MHz. On clocks lower 2100MHz it will give speed lower than with other timings.

But if I look you allready got all what you want. Hope that all your hynix mjr cards are fine quality...

Uhh you're welcome?!  Roll Eyes Actually I didn't ignore you, I simply missed your message but I've already tried different intensities and nothing above 80 worked for my Sapphire RX 570 8GB Nitro+ before I increased my voltage as Pete_X suggested.

I still have a couple of problems, one of which I found a solution already. I will post so others can make use of it:

1. Windows 10 and Adrenalin 18.4.1 detected my RX 570's as RX 580's. Apparently downgrading Adrenaline to 18.3.4 fixed this.

2.With Pete_X's suggestions, I was able to get my Samsungs around 1000 h/s and my Hynixes around 900 h/s but when I put them together GGS would throttle and I would run out of memory. Any thoughts on this zawawa or anyone?

Here's another rig I have running Cryptonight-Heavy with GGS 1.3.7 alpha. This rig has 10x RX 570 8GB Nitro+ but somehow Windows 10 detects them as RX 580 after upgrading to Adrenaline 18.4.1

and my GGS settings:

Those churning ~820 h/s are Samsung DDRs and the rest at ~750 h/s are Hynix

I haven't toyed with the Memory Timings, kind of scared to fuck up my cards.

Anyone can help me improve my hashrate please?  Grin

Will be happy to give a tip (0.005 BTC) if someone can help me get them to ~900-1000+ with stability.

So let's help and get these cards over 1000h/s on CN-Heavy :

Depending on the driver you use:

18.3.4
2-124-8 and 1200-900-2150-900 Hynix (Voltages can be tweaked when max hash is found)
2-124-8 and 1200-900-2050-900 Samsung (Voltages can be tweaked when max hash is found)

18.4.1
2-118-8 and 1200-900-2150-900 Hynix (Voltages can be tweaked when max hash is found)
2-118-8 and 1200-900-2050-900 Samsung (Voltages can be tweaked when max hash is found)

Start with Intensity around 110 and raise it step by step (best is only a single card to get the idea what they like). I let each card run 5min as a test - that sould give you an idea how the card likes the settings - as not all cards are eqaul. On 18.3.4 most cards top around 124, 18.4.1 differs a bit - there it is around 118+-. With 1225 on the cores you should reach/top 1100 on Samsung and get close to 1100 on Hynix. I know it's a bit tweaking needed - but the results pay back easy  Grin

Check the straps you use on both of them, normaly everyone useds on Samsung the "1Click" one ->
1750 and up -> 777000000000000022CC1C00AD615C41C0590E152ECC8608006007000B031420FA8900A00300000 010122F3FBA354019

Hynix 1750 and up -> 999000000000000022339D00CEDD6B4470551414B80D960B0040C400750314204A8900A00200000 018123745B92B3A16

There is still some room for tweaks, as the rams probably can do more then what i wrote - but needs testing ... Hope i could help and you get these GPUs over 1000h/s soon Smiley

Wow thanks Pete_X really appreciate this. I got my Samsungs up around 1015 h/s at 110 intensity with your settings. Still working on the Hynix but I'm hopeful I can get them there too now. Please DM me your BTC address!  Smiley

Hi zawawa, everyone.

I have 12x RX 560 4GB Pulse, Windows 10 with the latest Adrenaline drivers (18.4.1) and I'm getting these sad hashes for Cryptonight-Heavy, otherwise the system would freeze:

These are my settings:

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPBC | NOW LIVE | NO PREMINE | NO ICO | FIRST MEDIA MINING PLAYER on: February 20, 2018, 12:43:29 AM
While I somewhat agree with you jimlite that the first block was a bad block or whatever they want to call it, I also wasn't there and missed out on this good / bad block. But the devs decided not to fork and not to roll back and not to do anything else about this so if we want to be in this project then we have to live with it. I'm spending around $30 a day now mining merely 330 coins so my average is around $0.09 / coin. Buying those cheap coins from the early miners would be a dream to me but that wouldn't be justifiable now would it? Who am I (or you) to take these coins from them at $0.01? Yes maybe they don't deserve it but they have it. Why would they sell them to us cheap? And what makes people so sure that they would dump?

A solution I can propose to those who claim to care about this project is to collectively set a buy wall at $0.10 on launch so that we can absorb the dump if they so choose to dump their cheap coins, whoever they may be.

Everyone so worried about those 10,000 / block coins and wanting to buy them cheap from the miners should stop whining and simply set a thick ass buy wall at $0.10 when IPBC launches on Livecoin. I just started mining a few days ago but had I started since the first block why would I sell my coins to you for $0.01 when I could sell it for $0.10 later? Makes me think you want to cheat me out of my cheap coins, so don't trick people into thinking you actually care about the project.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard question (ASrock b250m pro4) on: February 18, 2018, 09:04:12 AM
Good morning all -

I originally planned on using only 2 cards so i got the asrock b250m pro4 (decent mobo with 2 full x16 slots for me to put cards into)

However i got a good deal on some more cards and am planning to go with a 5 card setup.

The mobo has 3 pcie slots, and 2 m.2 slots.  It looks like one of the m.2 might drop a sata (who cares), and the other might share with one of the pcie dropping it to gen 2 or gen3 x4?

My plan is to use 2 m.2 to pcie risers and then 5 regular risers from the 2 m.2 adapters and the 3 pcie slots.

Can anyone confirm this will work?

Planning to set tolud to 3.5 or even 2.5 (running ubuntu), and then potentially adjusting pcie to gen 2 across the board.

Hey I have the same motherboard and am stuck with only 3 GPUs. When I use a PCIe expander to add more GPUs the whole system would freeze. Also I get a BIOS A2 error from time to time. Did you figure out how to use more than 3 GPUs on this mobo?

I have 8GB RX 570s too but I'm only getting ~980 with my Samsung ones and ~810 with my Hynix ones. What strap settings do you use? Could you share them here please :-)

mostly Samsung, except the two lagging behind - those are Hynix. All modded with straps from 1.6.4 PBE (there's a link few pages back)
all Nitra+ 570 8GB

I have 4 Hynix and those are lagging too. Trying to figure out how to bump them up on cryptonight. For ethash they are all the same. Will let you know if I find anything, also please let me know if you do.

Cheers!

Try 459-460 RI. On 270X 4Gb it gives best speed.

What's RI where do I set that?

Go to the Devices tab > choose the Cryptonight algorithm and you will see them. Check my post, that's up a bit, the 2nd imgur link Wink .

Ah you mean Raw Intensity? I'm new to this software  Grin but anyway if I set that over 128 I get not enough memory error.

just tried running on 12*570 8GB - looks awesome!
never seen such rates on cryptonight on polarises.

there's something consistently wrong with two cards:

Gateless Gate Sharp is the first open-source dual ETH/XMR/PASC/LBC/FTC/MONA miner for Windows operating systems. It focuses on performance, stability, and ease of use.
Unlike the original Gateless Gate, this miner aims at stability with a much simpler design and the managed .NET Framework.

* https://github.com/zawawawa/GatelessGateSharp

* https://github.com/zawawawa/GatelessGateSharp/releases/download/v1.2.18-stable/Gateless_Gate_Sharp_1.2.18_stable_Setup.msi (Windows x64 Installer)

Currently, the miner supports Ethash/Pascal dual-mining, Ethash/daggerhashimoto, CryptoNight, Pascal, Lbry, NeoScrypt, LyraREv2, and the following major pools: NiceHash, ethermine.org, ethpool.org, DwarfPool, Nanopool, zpool, and mineXMR.com. Support for custom pools has also been added.

All you have to do to mine is to download and run the installer, launch the miner, enter your wallet address(es), and click the Start button. The miner is yet to be fully optimized, however, and the first official release will be available when it is feature-complete.

Please note that, even though this miner does work with NVIDIA cards, the current focus of the project is on AMD.

Hello Yuri this is amazing!! I just found your miner today and I saw the year was 2016 and wasn't too enthusiastic, but when I checked your Github I found your latest version and you're actively developing it. Thank you sir!! I am running it on 10 RX 570 8GB Nitro+ and it's AMAZING!! Beautiful interface, great hash rate, you are brilliant!! And most of all thank you for making this free. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support this project. I will most likely be emailing you soon too for some tips.

Your new fan and supporter!  Cool
