At the time Bitsta joined ICG team, It was just the beginning and ICG had nothing behind and he was HIRED to work for ICG as a paid dev.
Today ICG is in a lot better position, with 100% proven working team, and roadmap in action.
So the coin is clearly more attractive for the developers who have the skills and ambition to join this promising, proven and community driven coin.

The only option to vote on BTER is to use BTR points. But BTR points in BTER cannot be bought separately. It seems to me that you can generate them only with bigger volume on this exchange...  |

Lol my 400 sat buy orders never filled, this coin is only going up.
Price is wavering, if I were you I would keep those buy orders open... Looks like you got them filled. CONGRATS! The rest of us that bought in at 650 lose though haha. No place for regret here. Before 2 weeks the bottom was 180 sat, no is 400 sat. After 1 month probably will be 1000 and guys that were buying at 1200 will be a bit disappointed. The bigger picture is more important and it's clear that ICG have one of the most serious communities I've ever seen as well as development team. It's still a community driven coin, nothing hidden here. |

what exactly do you mean with "more transparent with a timeline" ? btw - all work except "implementation of anon-tx system" is already fullfilled. (not to mention the PoS hardfork i implemented for free). anyway, back to the topic: as you re able to write the above stated posts i conclude that you re also able to read through my ANN post and also the entry regarding BitKey and it s ETA (btw -i also published that in IRC...). PoS adaption (changed reward from 200 to 5% p.a.) is nearly complete.
We will test the hardfork today in closed real-net mode and
then release the updated sources.

Whenever you have enough time, you find a solution.. Maybe shorten PoS to max 24 hours etc..
Even with that particular guy the mining is about 100 times more fair. |

I really like this way of mining! It's still a lot lot better than for example most of the coins in dedicated pool ...
But the Dev team should have in mind that they cannot rely only on this. If they are not serious about the development - tomorrow a new coin with this mining solution + proper development will come and they will just watch the show from aside...

Is anyone working on making the wallet more user friendly? Having to take multiple steps to get the wallet to work isn't good for mass adoption.

do you think we should put a fund together for the new dev. say like new dev gets 300k coins donated from community members. this is for the new dev, ofcourse it would need to be a community decision to select the dev. the amount of coins will also provide incentive to take the coin to new heights. at 10k that would be worth 30btc
But may be if we collect this amount of ICG by donations that will make the position more attractive. So - not a bad idea. i can put forward 25k coins towards this. i dont know if 300k maybe reached but we will do what we can. i like the name/logo/community this coin has a future We should discuss your proposition in the #ICG and make a decision . |

I think at the moment we should stick to our work with bitsta as a main developer and don't forget that after he finish the first part of the contract we must give him the rest 3 btc for the second part. What will be the conditions with our future full time dev - nobody knows, it strongly depends on him I guess. |

if the pos changes to 10% that would be awesome as many people are being put off the 200% pos. the community has voted for somewhere around there
This is one the next steps that are coming. After all the community took over this coin with 200% POS, so after a good discussion the poll will probably decide to be much lower. Everyone is free to vote. |

this is so under the radar, bitkey is the same tech in root coin their ipo values the coin at 300btc imagine when it hits the market. people can trade incognito now that would put it around 2000 sats. this will soon be trading above that as people know. their tech is real everybody knows this. i also would say incognito is a better name but root and us are friends.
We are no rushing for anywhere . Step by step the Incognito is going to be there. Unlike many other coins - here is no Dev team that owns the coin and is in a rush for a profit (like PnD). Everything is community driven - we hire our devs, searching for full time dev team, designing some other goodies for ICG and so on... But that is made in decentralized way so there is no private interest for running away. That's what I like about ICG. Many thanks to our current back end developer - bitsta, he is doing good so far. |
