I have all my miners x11 pointed to coinking pool, converting to MIN. If the first couple hours are any early indications, its not very impressive so far. Not even enough to cover electricity. Still convincing myself all multipools suck, no money in it for miners, just the pool operators of course. I do not include our MIN devs pool buy the way, as he takes no money from it for himself. All is issued back to pool miners.  Ill give CK 24 hrs. to get a full effect, and will report back.  I'm ready for another FDC coin launch! That was so much fun for a change and all the efforts made buy this community to talk it up and the excitement of seeing a new idea work and come to life, grow wings and fly.... against all odds. Lets get MIN out there and put to use. Cant slow the momentum, seen that to many times before. And then its soon forgotten. People have a very short attention span in the mining world, mainly because there is simply to much coming at us everyday.  Same here. Giving CK 24 hours but so far the results are bleh. The thing is I can't find anything else to mine to convert to Minerals. Everything is is either crap, or is crap and being gouged by the big farms. I really miss being able to mine minerals. It was so nice to get enough coins to a) cover my electricity, b) make a small profit, and c) still have a ton left over to hold. i know its not planned but why not have a second pow phase with halved block rewards. This would be great for promotion and jump starting the coin again if dev on e-sports is going to take a long time. Something to put back as a plan B or even C lol, interesting Idea. not my ideal, i just watched it work extremely well with another coin, sc |

i can't get enough of this coin!! dev lets hear some more plans and whats in the works ! and keep voting on mint pal , were flying up the list! I'm accumulating tons of minerals and i guarantee i won't be dumping these. people will weep when the price blows up!! I invest in devs! and these debs are amazing ! keep up the great work and lets keep moving!!

Still working on betting features and services Also adding simple exchange rate feature to the wallet so new Minerals users would be able to instantly know how much US dollars their Minerals worth (would be helpful for gamers who are new to cryptocurrencies) You seam to know what your doing so a thank you for doing a great job so far is in order. If you can schedule regular updates in a timeline that works best for you it instills confidence and order into the community dynamic(i watched it happen with Silkcoin). Just my observation, ofcourse you will do what you think works best for you and the coin. The e-sports betting is looking more genius all the time. Talk is cheap though so we will wait and see. Becausse there is no premine what's the incentive other than investing to work hard and innovate? We would like to know more about you dev and your thoughts/plans on the project. |

C-cex merchant services means we now have an easy way to offer product service with altcoins. This is good news! THe more i learn about e-sports betting the more I like this ideal.Minerals is new, thats why we are here to get in early, dont expect lots of volume yet. The FUD comes from other coins. They are trying to get you to crossover. Give me a break with Pandacoin, you can try all day with that pos. I bought at 3 now im buying more at 2 and I will buy more every few days at any price. Once we get confirmation that e-sports betting is real I will jump in big. I vote eveytime im on mintpal - we need this to continue to rise A new day is rising. Crypto wars. Ok i figured out what minerals needs to do

The name is good and catching on well so we are ahead of the marketing game here. As long as the dev is real and coding something that works this coin will get some investment influx.
So many coins not being fair, Minerals can use this to set apart from the rest.
I have mined and sold at least 75 alt coins now,, no joke, lol and this one so far stands in a class all its own. We should promote Mineral by edit signature , example my signature I'm not really sure it is the thing to emphazise, yes it is one of the fairest, if not the fairest, distribution ever, but "distribution" is over now. So now anyone with some BTC to spare can acquire minerals. The more BTC you have, the more MIN, so that's not really fair. If I was just hearing about minerals and heard that it has the fairest distribution ever I would want to look and grab some "fair distributed" minerals, and that was during the PoW phase. No I think, whilst it is good to mention it of course, that we should emphazise on the new features about to be implemented, which will attract future investors (betting, anon etc...) and heavily promote the coin in the gaming industry. And for that I point out the fact that maybe dev should remove all starcraft graphics, in this thread and on website, if Blizzard hears about this and checks it out you can be sure it will not end well. I love Blizzard but they will want a piece of the cake that's for sure. The name Minerals itself does not pose a problem but it's all their copyrighted graphics. What do you guys think? You make good points. I was thinking fair as in (no premine - no instamine - no ipo) Many from other coins are looking for this in a new potential POS coin and would be tempted to crossover. Did i miss/read over the part on how this bug is going to be fixed and who has the skills to do it?
Who has the skills to Qt c++ the new wallet? What about compiling the wallet. Who has skills to do this and proof of ability.
edit; i see that bholzer may have the skills to do this type of code restructuring. lets wait and see.
This is no longer Silkcoin. It will be something else(better or worse). The original whitepaper eco system is probably off the table. Because this is not the same plan i wonder if it will get the same investor support. What about the wallet. Will the wallet look the same or will it be a default style gui? The wallet was and dev team was the major draw in the first place.

I swear if anyone can tell me the identity of this dev i promise you I will be on the first flight to his hometown to beat him into a coma.
I think someone revealed that, scroll back to 10 pages. This is why identities should always be hidden. There are real people who will kill you because they believe you lost them money if they know who you are. Violence is only the answer on TV and if you are a multi millionaire or higher. I'm amazed to see some buyers in the books. I guess they are just late to the party and drinking anything to get plastered. Still a chance of a full recovery but nothing over 50/50. So can you explain why doge, lite public their identify? If you do nothing wrong, why you worry about that? Because people are not logical and reasonable. You may think they are from the outside but try and create a coin and interact with everyone you will quickly see that some people are not together. This is just the way it is especially in the entertainment business. Some identities are disclosed like your example doge, but that is the exception. This Silkdev has people threatening him with bludgeon. He may have just not been able to fix a bug in the code and people overreact and try and kill you raging scam. Makes me understand the law more watching how people treat each other in conflicts. |

99% coins are scam, I think is a lot true in that
Its a scam until its not anymore. Its only a scam if you lose money. Its a scam if you dont understand it. Its not a scam until everyone says its a scam, even tho nothing has changed from the start. people yelling scam are the same people buying in only when everyone else says its ok and they will always lose and are not good investors. Investors know what they are putting their money into and know when to take it out. I bought the crash and lost 50% of it but it was only a small amount. It was a bad buy not because it was a scam but because i didn't have all the info to make a good decision as an investor should. Will i stop buying on crashes, no way, because most of the time coins do pop back and go strong and the odds are with my strategy. |

You are on the internet in cryptoland. Nothing is what it seams. You can't be sure of anything. All you can do is put your money where innovation shows its face. Coins may or may not workout, its a highly volatile environment. One thing i do know for sure is things are never as simple as most people make them out to be and most people are in the dark to what is really going on. When you are in the dark all you can say is scam. I will only invest into Silky if there is no premine/instamine/ipo If Wolf is legitimate he can make his money back investing in his own project like the rest of us Edit: Im starting to think i should just move on, silk was mostly a visual innovation anyway. We want real substance innovations and should support them with our funds. |

Personally I think a re-brand is a mistake. It would do ok but I do not think it would do as well as a completely new coin. Theres plenty of other smooth names to come up with  2nd idea.. you could always join the piggy team and help push a coin that deserves the effort to the top . Just sayin piggy is no silkcoin did you see the mockup. its Silky and it looks amazing. |

New Trading Page In total I must have spent close to 300 solid hours of work trying to take SilkCoin to the top, all to no avail. Why did I do it? I knew that if SilkCoin became one of the top 5 coins, which it had more than enough potential to do, I would never have to work again in my life. I poured everything into this coin, heart, wallet and time, so believe me that if anyone is disappointed it's me. Whichever way you look at it now, SilkCoin is dead. I have a plan to appease everyone though. I've spoken with a few people and I plan to fork SilkCoin and release it as a new coin with new branding. This is something that I could get behind. Most of what I like about this coin came from Wulfcastle. You guys are kidding yourself if you think the old dev is going to give up 8btc to a new dev.
Proposal (A), A removal of bad code / revert to previous working wallet.
The nexxt step is a fork. A community takeover of sorts. People need to come out now and speak up if they have the skills to contribute to a reverse cluster ____. If no one speaks up this could die off. The community is the value and without it its toast. Fontas was right the lead dev is a cornered kid who needs to pass the torch. This project could be fixed, i have even thought of doing a fork but had trouble with compiling this new wallet.
