So I need people's opinion on the vanity address generator. Is it worth it for you guys to keep. I do not care for the feature and it was develop before I took over the coin. Therefore I do not want to pay for it since I personally do not support it and I didn't get any premine or anything to pay for things I consider frivolous. If you guys want it let me know and donate to the donation address on the OP. I will pay bounties that I set out but I am not going to pay for someone else's bounty so if you want this feature kept show that you want it. If i see a descent amount of donations I will pay the bounty to the developer of it and I will use my funds to make up for it if the donations fall short. I just want to make sure it is something people will actually support.

We have also received a suggestion to change interest. The idea was move it up to 10% annually and reduce it 1% per year. My thought is if we did this I would also have the final interest between 3-5%. This is just an idea right now. We do not plan on changing to much because we want to make sure everything is nice and stable before we do any kind of Forks.

New Development Team
I just wanted to let Everyone Know I (tom14cat14) Have now taken over the coin with the full support of the Original developer. Please give me a little time to settle in But I would like to announce a few things.
I have updated the OP with a new working Block explorer. We are also in the process of getting a second one and it will eventually have a rich list feature on it. We are working with allcoin to have them unfreeze their wallets so you will be able to move your Firecoin's in and out soon.
We also have a IRC chat ##Firecoin. We have a tip bot in the IRC chat so you can tip and be tipped firecoins.
We are working on figuring out why the block times are slow at times. We believe that we just do not have enough wallets open and staking at the moment.
Here are a few of our to do's (not limited but most likely to achieve the soonest)

get on coin market cap
Set up weekly raffles
We also will be looking at new features once we settle into the new coin. Our biggest goal right now is to make it user friendly and stable. Feel free to post any ideas you have or any help you can offer. We are going to be looking for a super node so if anyone has one please let me know. Thanks
good luck i believe you. You will make good this coin Thanks! I sure plan on it. I have give out my Normal user name because I want to show that I am not just going to run away because that will burn(lol) My credibility. I hope to make all of you some nice profits. But I am not going to sit here and say we are going to have white paper and a wallet that shoots gold nuggets out every time you stake and ..... I am not trying to just make a big headline and some quick cash. |

I dont know why bittrex waiting ! I tweet them a lot and the coin is on POS phase now with rather high volume  I dont know why either! Don't let up on the tweeting! I would say drop them a message on their IRC chat as well at #bittrex. They will have to succumb to community pressure eventually! hi dev, you plan to add the anonymous feature for this coin is? and what can differ from the other coin? Whitepaper will be announced tomorrow 7/2/2014. This will give you more details on plans for future development. |

Firecoin is in its Proof of Stake phase. That means you can't mine Firecoin or FIRE (Best method is to buy FIRE). Most pools will be removing Firecoin from their sites....Some still have left it up for pending payouts. |

Please make sure you do the command "mkdir obj" that is an error from the obj directory not existing (github does not create it).

firecoinx15, how I can build firecoin from source on OSX? I have tried makefile.osx, but got an error:
