I was looking at the premine he sold it all on July 1. He made at most 2 BTC. What a waste, hurt people for a whopping 2 BTC. I plan to take this coin over I would like to change to a little higher interest but if people want it left at 1% we can do that. Just post.

I like higher interest, maybe tapering back down to 1% over several years (10% reduced by 1% over 10 years?)
However, that would mean a hard fork and the network appears to be healthy at the moment, is it necessary? The coin's rarity should attract more bag holders (once it has the semblance of support) than other coins with low PoS - it may be different.

That is what I was kind of debating. Not sure I would change anything to start out. Have you moved coins around? I have not moved anything for a few weeks. When I did it was really slow. If this is still the case I would look at speeding it up. |

I have some at Allcoin, but we need a block explorer so they can unfreeze their wallet. I am working on one, I got the wallet compiled but I couldn't get it to sync... working some more...

Looks like it's moving well - I haven't moved any myself but every time I check on the wallet it's always caught up and the last block has always been under a minute ago.
I have some at Allcoin, but we need a block explorer so they can unfreeze their wallet. I am working on one, I got the wallet compiled but I couldn't get it to sync... working some more...

Wallet synced fine for me once I got the first few addnodes. How are you getting on with the block explorer? Anything i can help you with? I transferred coins from bitrex to the wallet, yea the transaction took a while but nothing to worry about, minting is also working. Shame the interest isn't a little higher, but I wouldn't hard fork unless absolutely necessary. Ill catch up with you all in IRC. |

I just wanted to let Everyone Know I (tom14cat14) Have now taken over the coin with the full support of the Original developer. Please give me a little time to settle in But I would like to announce a few things.
I have updated the OP with a new working Block explorer. We are also in the process of getting a second one and it will eventually have a rich list feature on it. We are working with allcoin to have them unfreeze their wallets so you will be able to move your Firecoin's in and out soon.
We also have a IRC chat ##Firecoin. We have a tip bot in the IRC chat so you can tip and be tipped firecoins.
We are working on figuring out why the block times are slow at times. We believe that we just do not have enough wallets open and staking at the moment.
Here are a few of our to do's (not limited but most likely to achieve the soonest)
Multi-pool
get on coin market cap
Set up weekly raffles
We also will be looking at new features once we settle into the new coin. Our biggest goal right now is to make it user friendly and stable. Feel free to post any ideas you have or any help you can offer. We are going to be looking for a super node so if anyone has one please let me know. Thanks

I have give out my Normal user name because I want to show that I am not just going to run away because that will burn(lol) My credibility. I hope to make all of you some nice profits. But I am not going to sit here and say we are going to have white paper and a wallet that shoots gold nuggets out every time you stake and ..... I am not trying to just make a big headline and some quick cash. |

We have also received a suggestion to change interest. The idea was move it up to 10% annually and reduce it 1% per year. My thought is if we did this I would also have the final interest between 3-5%. This is just an idea right now. We do not plan on changing to much because we want to make sure everything is nice and stable before we do any kind of Forks.
