I doubt it will really bubble until after the silk road trial and the Mt Gox bankruptcy hearings, when the bitcoins have been sold. I think it will be at least Christmas until the silk road trial concludes, and longer for the Mt Gox bankruptcy because they extended it. I guess the value of 1 BTC in end of the year will be a lot less than now.

What the hell is an ethereum and why do they have so many coins? Why do you think they want to sell?
Maybe they won't sell all the coins but probably they will sell some more to cover the expenses and do some nice holidays... I guess they have a lot of expenses to cover. They are renting out offices, employing people and travelling round the world. No doubt they will also need wages for themselves while they develop the project.

A lot of coins have new features that appeal to the crypto nuts, but rarely ever is a new feature geared towards making crypto simpler for new users. It's one big crypto feature circle-jerk.
I agree. A coin needs to be simpler and easier to use. Those other gadgets are found in other areas of the internet, but we don't need them in our wallet. Why would we need those gadgets in our wallet? I disagree, the ultimate coin needs thingumajigs, thingamabobs, doohickeys, various whatchamacallits, doodads, gilhickies, and thingies.

I bought in at 480 and thought that was the bottom. 350 dollars in weeks? Shit.....
you can buy more then. What if he spent all his money now and cannot afford to buy more?

Can someone please explain it like you are talking to a child.
Can someone explain it even simpler than that for me please?
|

nah, it won't go lower than current price, you can see, it is solid now, the dumpers are out, we are heading to a pump, it's only a matter of time
Oh? I see lots of fishing for bottoms, but no launch pad. If the bulls can't get some momentum going soon, I'm beginning to think $300s are in the cards as well... The ethereum IPO ends in less than two hours. It could affect bitcoin's price if they announce plans to dump a few more million dollars worth of bitcoins.

@Annington
Can you post some links besides your original two to verify this is not a giant farce? Neither of your original two confirm any link between Eric Omuro and Bittrex.

I hope this was not another scam IPO.

Is there somewhere that provides zipped snapshots, or bootstrap.dat's of the bitcoin blockchain to speed up downloads?
|
|
|
All it needs is access to the Bitcoin blockchain, via Bitcoin Core. Therefore in order to run Colorcore, you need Bitcoin Core running with RPC enabled and the -txindex=1 -server=1 flags.
This sounds great apart from requiring us to download the whole bitcoin blockchain. Will there be some way around this in the future?

Can you run a CPU at 100% there 24/7 without them complaining?

Would be funny if Tim Draper was left holding the biggest bag of odorous excrement ever assembled in the history of Bitcoin (stolen from Margin Call) this exchange start up would be getting the hurry up by now...
It would not do much for his reputation.

do you think it will rise up again ?
no it will never rise again it will go down deep into negative numbers long enough to make you owe your house and your car to the people who have no bitcoins and then it will continue falling down. I think it will go much lower than that.
