1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[PascalLite just hit $1 million market cap milestone!] on: January 08, 2018, 01:55:03 AM

Interesting take on the subject.  I didn't realize that the accounts themselves could have such an important impact of the value of the coins down the pipeline.

I wont be deleting any accounts, regardless - but I will continue to mine it.

Ya I believe its a strategy little like Ripple in sense that it prevents the coin from being overloaded by spammed out web-wallets etc, it has some negatives as well of course but down the road could very well pay off.

I've made a ticket on Cryptopia this downtime is getting pretty insane.

As some previous individuals have asked whats the progress on getting this coin listed on another exchange?  I thought there was a few individuals willing to pitch in a several months ago and can imagine some of the massive miners of the coin would love to see it hopefully be better supported on a bigger exchange and the related growth as well.

Any news on when the Cryptopia deposits issue/maintenance will be resolved? I've submitted ticked with Cryptopia but they are not particularly responsive nor they provided an ETA for it to be resolved which is a shame as they are the only exchange that lists PASL.

Fellow miners, how are you tackling this? Just hodling onto your PASLs for the time being?

holding onto for now but wanting to shoot self because looking at it hovering at 50 cents..

Would have been better off mining Pascal back in July for all these months would have at least been able to deposit it now.
I thought pasl was looking to get on a bigger trading site like Poloniex?

Anyone knows what happened with suprnova? Their PASL pool doesn't seems to be working for a while now...

when u login they show you a message saying that it is disabled because they are having issues.
https://pasc.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=dashboard

Thats the Pascal pool, the PASL pool has been down for 3-4 days now, and the owner of Suprnova has yet to respond to anything regarding it, have messaged him on here, the ticket system isn't working, can't cash out as well.

its all locked down kinda sketchy tbh.  Hasn't posted anything on twitter about it, hasn't responded to any pascal lite inquiries on there as well.

The payouts are enabled, you can withdraw

I assure you I've tried half my balance is still unconfirmed, and payouts aren't working

Edit: Looks like something changed and did receive the account pay out finally, Thanks

your currently mining for a pool not solo mining. Think this should be notable.

You finding a block is well important but fairly irrelivant, your basically contributing your Mhash to the pool and your getting your share of the BTC gained from someone in the pool finding a block (50 BTC split)

Which is never =o they just want to play with your money more then likely.

Alot of sites keep their stuff up saying they are getting stock but only update the fact that their supplier is actually high and dry on the 5850's or 5870's until you have an order in.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need a mobo for 4x5850s on: July 24, 2011, 09:01:18 AM
what kind of 2gb sapphires..?

I'm assuming 6950's?

the 58XX's are best performers and 6990.

5830 are just under the 5850 for $/Mh look for em.

Or if you can find some places with 5870's still I saw some powercolors on a month ago (missed it unfortunetly) for 165$ a pop!!!

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New 5850s @ $140 on NCIX on: July 24, 2011, 04:43:46 AM
This is still bothering me a bit lol... missed this by like 1 day... hell missed 5870's at 160$ too, that was a sad day.

5850 is like better in every single way =\.. but I guess in reality its all gonna pay for it self so I shouldn't concern my self too much.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An early adopter - our story on: July 23, 2011, 05:55:03 PM
Thats pretty crazy, wish I was in the same boat and heard about them sooner obviously, but I'll just do what I can to do some mining currently.

14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5850 crossfire PSU recommendation on: July 23, 2011, 05:37:57 PM
fact it is 80+ gives me a little hope for it but 650W would be safe but 700W would be ideal to give lots of headroom, you'd be really pushing it tho, the two cards alone pull 380W ish.  And CPU can pull quite a bit, and peripherals and fans would set you over.

And running at a PSU's max isn't ideals either it can be unstable.

Expecting with 2 miners I'm building right now + my Main System approx, 3G/H

4x 5830, 2x 5870, 2x 6950.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: new(b) rig on: July 23, 2011, 06:42:57 AM
There is only a couple 6950's that use a 6+8 power connector.

A. Do not OVERtighten heatsink, bends pins, bad makes it unstable.

B. Make sure power connectors are snug.

Make sure RAM is seated it can seem seated sometimes.

Check all Expansion card seatings.

____________

Heatsinks should be about finger tight, just snug
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which OS is best suitable for mining? on: July 23, 2011, 06:21:39 AM
my understanding is to use a windows OS to set overclocking up then dual boot into Linux.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New 5850s @ $140 on NCIX on: July 23, 2011, 06:12:53 AM
Damn.. just got my 5830's from Newegg in yesterday shame they were 130 a piece so not terrible, bought 4x and they were sold out after that =O so I emptied it I believe.

I'm in Canada so NCIX is another hotspot I keep an eye on.

Oh well I can get 5830's to M/Hash pretty nice too higher watt usage tho.

OC'd 5830 = Stock 5850 =\.. so about 50m/h difference but 200 m/h across the 4 cards I bought no brainer would have bought those if they were available at time (week ago)
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any Interest in a 1.1 GHash Miner for $1100? on: July 22, 2011, 04:51:36 PM
mmm Yummy High Quality PSU right there...
20  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitminter.com * 150 BTC promotion * mine 6-11% more bitcoins! on: July 22, 2011, 08:02:10 AM
idk I think I could top that =), my XFX Ref 5870 is pretty toasty with its OC ability.

Although newer GPU's have better heatsinks that are quieter and overall perform better, under mining conditions I have a 5870 CF, one Gigabyte OC'd edition with twin fan design, cools great sure, but at 100% fan mining still hits 86C, So overclocking isn't an option.

Where my XFX reference is a ridiculous amount louder at even 45% fan vs the 100% fan, but at 50% fan it says at 82C.  100% fan keeps core temps at a chilly 62C... so.... ya....... Alot of OC ability there.  I'll OC it up and see if it'll perform for me tonight.
