Hello, the API is still under development as we're working on other, more interesting updates at the moment.

We understand your questioning, but this scenario cannot happen. If you send your 0.5555 BTC to our address, then the switch to Monero and Mixero's charges will make your transaction anonymous.
The fees will allow you to have an arrival amount different from an entry amount, and XMR will make it impossible to track the transaction.

So, in your scenario, is it risky for one address in the entire blockchain to send 0.5555 BTC and then, without any link, for another address to receive the same amount? If the two addresses can't be linked, then it doesn't matter if an entry in the blockchain corresponds to an exit elsewhere - this is the case absolutely every day.

Let's imagine 1BTC of dirty money sent to a service, then everyone who receives exactly 1BTC should be worried? Well, no, because the addresses are not linked in any way, which is why our service uses Monero, and why we charge a fee after you've sent it.

The primary purpose of the Advanced Mode is to anonymize your transactions through the conversion into XMR. This leverages the intricate workings of the Monero blockchain, particularly its use of stealth addresses. These stealth addresses allow for multiple intermediary hops in XMR before the final conversion back to BTC or ETH.

Furthermore, it's not just a straightforward conversion to XMR. Mixero utilizes its own Monero wallets to oversee the entire process and enhance anonymity.

Regarding the integration of ETH: it follows the same mechanism. We are not merely a currency exchange platform; our core functionality lies in ensuring the anonymity of your transactions, whether in BTC or ETH. Thus, there's no need for us to facilitate direct conversions between ETH and BTC.

Matching input and output amounts becomes challenging due to the fees incurred post-transfer, which ensures that the output amount differs from the input amount. Moreover, even before attempting to correlate these amounts, one would have to navigate through the complexities of the Monero network.

CoinJoin Pool Update:

Hello everyone!

We have some exciting news! We’ve made a big update to our Coinjoin system. We’ve added a new feature called CoinJoin Pool, which we’ve been working on and testing for a while.

In easy-to-understand terms, this feature combines two big ideas in cryptocurrency mixing: the coinjoin and pool systems.

We’ve created a postmix pool system that acts as a reserve. This means when you make a transaction, you’ll receive coinjoined funds from another user, increasing the privacy of your transactions and lowering the risk of transaction analysis.

Coinjoin already combines several different user inputs with your own, so with CoinJoin Pool you receive your funds from another user's past CoinJoin, preventing any time-based blockchain analysis.

At the moment, the reserve is a bit small (0.5 BTC), but we’re planning to increase it gradually. If you send more funds than what’s available in the postmix reserve, don’t worry; you’ll receive a mix of the reserve and your own coinjoined funds.

By bringing these ideas together, we believe this update significantly improves the privacy of transactions and reduces the chances of analysis attempts being successful. This is a crucial step in strengthening the security and anonymity of our users and ensuring everyone has a smooth and secure experience on our platform.

We use a decentralized platform to exchange bitcoin into monero. Then the monero is sent to a wallet generated not depending on any centralized platform after that the Monero is exchanged back to bitcoin via this same platform. The fact of using a monero intermediary wallet that doesn't depend on any service ensures greater anonymity and, what's more, monero uses the stealth address principle. We currently have no XMR or BTC pool for the advanced method. Over time, we'll probably integrate a Monero and Bitcoin pool. This means that only one exchange will be made from Monero to Bitcoin. The advantage is that when the user sends funds in BTC, the equivalent amount in Monero will be exchanged directly into Bitcoin. Anonymity would be further strengthened.

Hello, the API will work for both methods. Using our API you could actually create your website that would work with it. We can't give an exact estimate but it should be ready within the next month.

We've updated the design of the invoice page and added more information about mixing. Please let us know what you think.

Future updates :

We're currently working on an API implementation so users will be able to use our service more quickly without having to interact with our UI. It will also be possible to use the API for your own service, with the option of configuring your own fee address and fee percentage.

Hello, we have replied to your email. We are experiencing a liquidity problem for our advanced method, we do not have an exact timeframe for when the problem will be resolved. It should be solved in a few hours. We are currently working to solve it as soon as possible.

Hello, additional costs (0.0003 BTC) are deducted when using coinjoin. But on the other hand, the minimum service fees are quite low compared to the minimum advanced service fees, which makes all the difference on large sums.

We recommend that users who are very concerned about their privacy use our advanced method, which is much more anonymous than coinjoin. The principle of this method is to use monero as an intermediary to prevent any on-chain analysis.

Coinjoin, on the other hand, allows several users to combine their transactions into a single transaction, making it difficult to determine the correspondence between inputs and outputs.

Hello, the fee of 0.0003 BTC is only for the coinjoin method. The advanced fees are only service fees but also mining fees which are quite minimal.

Hello, even if in the worst case scenario the site is down, the user must have downloaded the letter as soon as the payment was created. As soon as the user sends the funds, the letter should already have been downloaded. We do everything we can to prevent this from happening, in particular by using DDoS-Guard and our own firewall.

If the user has not had time to download the letter and the website is unavailable for several hours, we may help the user in another way than with the letter only if we judge that the situation and the state of the website may have caused the user not to download the letter.

Hello everyone, we'd like to clarify a few things about our privacy and data retention policy.

When users send funds on our service their data and session will be kept for a maximum of 24 hours, if a delay is selected the data will be kept for 24 hours in addition to the duration of the delay chosen.

In the event of a problem or non-receipt of funds, they must contact us before the end of the session. Please note that our coinjoin method takes about 1 hour to complete a mix and 45 minutes for our advanced method, so don't wait to contact us if these times have been exceeded. Please also note that contacting us after the session duration will render the letter of guarantee obsolete and therefore the user's funds will be lost.

Session lengths may seem short, but we believe they are necessary to maintain the privacy of each and every one of our users.

All this information is clearly explained in our terms and conditions, as well as a warning message in our letter of guarantee.

An update is scheduled for tomorrow. The maximum delay should be 168 hours (7 days). Please note that we will keep user data for x hours if the user has selected x hours of delay. Users who select 0 hours will have their data deleted 24 hours after the payment has been created.

Hello an update has been done on our CoinJoin method, some transactions were using too much input which resulted in transaction fees that were too low. The number of input per mix has been reduced.
