121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I mine bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency with fpga I don't know how he on: July 15, 2023, 06:42:12 AM
This is altcoin discussion board so move your topic here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=40.0 where you can ask the same question from the experts who are doing mining at the time.

But the difficulty is high at this time and most of them are doing it with ASIC machines so can't say if FGPA could help you into that but some small coins can be mined through it but still the experienced members could explain better on this topic if you move discussion there.

Emotions are something that is difficult to control, we do not have the coldness that a robot does and that makes us lose money, but when it is lost, at least I feel that I did not do it wrong and only with that feeling is that one consoles himself.
I know it's hard to control your emotions but we need to bet with our mind and limit ourselves to some point where loss can be bad for us as we have seen in many cases. We have mind that can help us to make decisions better then a Robot.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 14, 2023, 07:30:02 AM

I think that it depends on the gambler/gamer/etc. Someone can stop himself, someone else will gamble until he lose all his money. This situation is the same(in my opinion) for most part of the hobbies - in some moment it becomes too expensive and it doesn`t matter what resource do you spend - money, time or something else.
The problem with gambling that it is the main thing we see.
You need to have a strong mindset to leave it because it's like all other addiction where you are tempted to bet upon games even if costs you anything so to be normal again you need to be strong and especially if you have some moral support of you family members it can be easy.It depends on the surrounding environment also like gamblers will have during that time that can help them a lot.

<snip >
I've been hearing about Mahjong a lot since my childhood, but I wasn't able to learn anything about it before, except that it is a kind of gambling. Only recently did I learn a bit about it when I saw a streamer playing a Mahjong slot game.

Here in our country, it is illegal to use Mahjong as a form of gambling, however it is allowed to be played if  just for leisure and/or played in house.
I have played it many times not on gambling platforms but on my system in my childhood days ans sometimes whenever I feel like breaking some tiles I play it but why it's ban in your country or gambling is prohibited there? I don't find anything unusual about it that particularly it would be blocked by any region but there could be any reasons for it.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: July 14, 2023, 07:04:29 AM
It's absolutely fine to spend your coins if you are interested in buying stuff with it because that way it will help to spread the adoption at mass level apart from just holding.I know we see it as investment asset but we should not eliminate the base cause of its creation which was to make transaction. You can hold and spend at the same time if you wish to do so.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $20,000 to invest in any Altcoins of your choice? on: July 13, 2023, 06:20:20 AM
Asking for investment advice here will also attract some scammers guiding you to put money in fake projects token with attractive offers also so don't fall for them easily. The amount is also big for $20k so if you are new learn about market and stick to some top altcoins only on Coinmarketcap that doesn't have chance to go to zero levels so risk is less. Also diversify the amount to split between some coins like btc or ETH rest do some research also rather then relying on others advice completely.
127  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 13, 2023, 06:05:41 AM
I could say that I have had BFG tokens, Fun tokens, and I would like at some point to be able to have the money for the Rollbots, because really when they are well supported by a good casino things are excellent.
So why do you not buy some Rollbit token and add $RLB token in your portfolio?

You can consider about this idea and buy $RLB when it has corrections. The token made its new all time high, in this year 2023 in this bear market.

Rollbit coin is now trading at $0.07 and its trading volume is on fire. The token is available to trade at some exchanges.
The market for $RLB is again pumping hard giving good profits to those who have huge stash with them invested at low levels when it was in initial stage. But we can still try to get few of them and cash out profits within next few weeks if everything goes fine and not waiting too long.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 7k usdt on: July 13, 2023, 05:53:36 AM
I don't know if there's any investment plan that can give you daily return even for small amounts like $30 and why are you expecting this much daily profits? On the other side you can get good profits with 7k if you invest in Bitcoin for long term and keep investing more with time as halving is near you can expect good returns but be prepared for opposite reactions also but in long term you will get good returns.
129  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 12, 2023, 06:13:51 AM

this! I also tend to choose games with at least one skill component instead of pure luck ones
pure luck games are too much random and dopamine rewarding for little effort

but of course, each person will end up choosing what they like the most

what are the games you usually play?
I also like to play some games that will require you to combine your experience and skills apart from luck to win the game like in poker which is common and most played game in this category. So we all have different preferences when we choose games and thing is luck is always needed in that games also.
130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 12, 2023, 06:00:39 AM
and that means I could wait decades if I want to with ease without worrying about losing money ever.

Waiting for decades seems like abit exaggeration. Either way, unless you bought the v2 Rollbot then I guess the aidropped amount is significantly low and probably even if somehow it hit $0.1 then most people that got RLB for free wont really get any life changing amount of money. So yeah, if it isnt really a life changing amount then the best bet seems to be selling it for decent price then try your luck at the casino (?)  Roll Eyes
Whatever the amount you got as airdrop from the team is good because you have not paid anything extra for it so the amount will be dependent on your level of investment also.As you said sell at decent profits is what those holders can do or stake them in lottery to try extreme luck cases if they want to make fortune.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost bitcoins on: July 12, 2023, 05:47:15 AM
I read some old threads about lost Bitcoins ND this question has been on my mind ever since
If the lost Bitcoins were for instance recovered will the price of Bitcoin drop  because in theory it would affect the amount of Bitcoin in circulation which will lower it's price . I saw in those threads that lost Bitcoins are considered a donation to the Bitcoin network. so if my theory is correct then we should be happy those Bitcoins were lost.
No one knows exactly how many bitcoins have been lost forever, every now and then there are thousands of bitcoins that suddenly move again after being inactive for a lot of years and usually it's not a problem for the price. I would only be worried if one day Satoshi's bitcoins will be on the move again...
We see lot of addresses becoming active after so many years holding lot of bitcoins but there is difference between dormant address and lost bitcoins as first one still have keys and access to wallets while others have completely lost access like without keys in that case they are completely lost. But yes we can't say what's the actual figure for the lost Bitcoins as can't say which will get recovered in future.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: July 11, 2023, 06:50:51 AM
Even though bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency for betting on gambling sites, I don't use it as the main choice because the reason is that the cost is quite expensive, especially when withdrawing gambling profits and also sometimes the block confirmation process is quite long. On the other hand, Ethereum is the same as bitcoin so I just have to go through the two cryptos to gamble. I mostly use Litecoin, Dogecoin or Tron because they have very low fees to almost free withdrawals. Apart from that, I also often use stable coins like USDT, USDC or BUSD which are also the most popular cryptos that are often used by other gamblers when placing bets.
Those of us who gamble at crypto casinos are currently quite benefited by the many choices that we can use to play, at least the development of cypto is quite profitable because there are other cryptos whose transaction fees are cheaper and also confirmed quickly, very different from a few years ago where the types of coins used there are still fewer and more casinos that only accept Bitcoin.
I use Bitcoin more often because it's a coin that is accepted from signature campaigns, only using other coins like Litecoin or dogecoin and stablecoins when I do have a balance of these coins in my wallet. Using Bitcoin is more profitable because the price tends to rise so that the winnings can be stored for the long term, just like you said, withdrawal fees are often unpleasant, but there will always be pros and cons.
Most of the casinos have BTC, ETH,LTC or memecoins as deposit option which is good for players as well they have stable coin options also.Like in the past few weeks when btc was witnessing high transaction fees I used some of meme coins lik doge to gamble because I don't want to hold it for profits motive while other coins are good for future returns.
133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 11, 2023, 06:38:52 AM
with a minimum withdrawal value of 50 usdt, I still have a long way to go to be lucky enough to withdraw, I would have to hit many multibet bets to reach 50 USDT and be able to withdraw, but as it was a bonus that the casino gave it to me, so I have nothing to complain about, if I manage to increase the amount I earned from the bonus to the point of reaching 50 USDT and then withdraw it then I will celebrate, because I see it as a challenge, but if I lose I won't be either sad because it was a bonus I won, it won't be a loss, anyway I hope I hit my bet
At least you didn't risk a money from your own pocket since the funds came from Duelbits. But is it given through email? If it is a bonus then I assume it has a wagering requirement too or similar? I once received a bonus from Duelbits too but didn't managed to be lucky so I deposited additional funds on my account to continue playing that particular game.

Anyway, don't pressure yourself to reach the withdrawal amount, just enjoy the game. I hope you'll get a positive result so you can share it to us here.
They send it through mails to some users or you can get it through other ways like Twitter promotions but they have attached wagering requirements with it and withdrawal limits also sometimes so you can't directly redeem them without even wagering on any game.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivating gambling addicts to invest in bitcoins. on: July 11, 2023, 06:22:08 AM
Take note also that there lot of gambling that use Bitcoin to gamble  Cheesy (I can relate) but some of these people we can't call gambling addicts.

To be honest, this good idea, if they bought Bitcoin to use it for gambling, they should just keep it and not touch or use it for gambling. It's kinda related to saving fiat currency and not touching it or use for gambling.
I think he's talking about the gambling addicts for the physical casinos that accept fiat payments only and don't have idea about bitcoin or crypto. But there are many crypto casinos these days but those who are addicted to it already know they can invest that money but they can't control themselves.Investing needs patience to get to the actual profits but they are interested in gambling more to make fast profits even after they are losing money. We can try to motivate them but they also need strong mind to support themselves.
135  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 10, 2023, 06:43:40 AM
I placed my bet this morning, and I'm waiting tomorrow to see if I get it right, I bet on the ufc and tennis fights, I made a multibet bet with 4 games, but the odds are not great, but as they were my only viable games to bet on, so no I've had many options, so far I've been right in the tennis game, I'm talking about Carlos Alcaraz's game against Nicolas Jarry (3 - 1) and I've also already been right in the Stefanos Tsitsipas game against Laslo Djere (3 - 0), 2 more to go games that are the ufc fights, this week was a disaster because even if I get it right, the profit won't be a big deal

with a minimum withdrawal value of 50 usdt, I still have a long way to go to be lucky enough to withdraw, I would have to hit many multibet bets to reach 50 USDT and be able to withdraw, but as it was a bonus that the casino gave it to me, so I have nothing to complain about, if I manage to increase the amount I earned from the bonus to the point of reaching 50 USDT and then withdraw it then I will celebrate, because I see it as a challenge, but if I lose I won't be either sad because it was a bonus I won, it won't be a loss, anyway I hope I hit my bet

I wish you all the luck that you will be able to reach the minimum requirement of 50 USDT for withdrawal.  It would be a nice story to hear someone withdrawing from the bonus given by the casino.  Although I sometimes gets bonus reward from my gambling activities, I never had the opportunity to withdraw the bonus since I always end up losing the winnings from the bonus by trying to get a huge win from it even though it exceeds the minimum requirement for withdrawal. Greed and wanting to win more really makes one person lose more  Cheesy.
Usually there are wagering requirements or some strings attached like withdrawal limits and many times we consume these bonuses without reaching that limit but yes it would be great if he manages to get to that amount to withdraw the amount.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost bitcoins on: July 10, 2023, 06:31:04 AM
It will not happen the way you are thinking because if someone would recover his lost btc the price won't ve affected much because all of them are not selling at the same time when they recovered it.As per reports more then 4M coins have been lost so do you think all of them would be able to recover it? On the other side the supply is shrinking as well so prices will be determined by supply and demand at that time.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: July 10, 2023, 06:15:20 AM
If you are holding Bitcoin in your wallets for a certain period of time or have invested any amount to get it for profits then it can be termed as investment even if you spend the coins.Suppose you get it and then immediately withdraw the amount then it can't be expressed as investment or make you investor. You need to hold it for specific time period atleast.

Razer

Thanks for the notification holydarkness!

Hi Razer,

I've also encountered this issue with my account when I tried to withdraw it says ""Functionality is temporarily restricted for this account".
I've contacted support and waited patiently for the whole night but they have not been able to provide any update or any reason for the restriction by just saying "will check with a colleague".
Account is KYC'd and my last withdraw was just a week ago.

Hope you can help me look into this,

Thanks
Just be little more patient as support might be looking into the matter to check what's wrong with the team so they will respond to your issue soon with an explanation. There can be some suspicion in your account which is why they have restricted withdrawal but wait for answer.

Almost all casinos that offer sports betting nowadays also have e-sports. This seems to be a growing trend, I believe.
The market is big and there are usually lot of sports these days on which players like to bet as we have different taste so casinos have started e-sports wagering also along with sportsbook to capture that area also to attract more players to the platform.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you Have Any Bitcoin Stories from a Decade Ago? on: July 09, 2023, 02:06:00 PM
Well one of the story is about an individual who sold his Bitcoin of 10k to someone for a pizza, he is the loser here, he has accepted it going by his attitude during some of the Interview he has had.
Where did he mention that he is loser or something like that? I have seen him saying that he didn't regret it because he found it more suitable at that time to feed his family. The other user who got 10k Bitcoins also sold it for normal profit only. They didn't know it will turn this big so there is little sad feeling about it but don't think he's loser as he used it for the actual purpose.
