I honestly think casinos and exchanges are hitting two targets with one arrow.
By setting a mandatory KYC on their platform they are following the regulations from the government as well as selling this data to other companies for money.
Governments are keeping these regulations for AML but may be exchanges and casinos are using this KYC data for their benefit as well.
We can never know the hidden truth behind this.
As long as there's no blackmail or many strangers asking you for money, I don't think your KYC is being used by other people. Because that's where your data being used and it's a sign if many people already know how to reach you. You may correct we don't know behind truth about this, but at the same time they're getting forced to ask KYC. That's why if you're want to give your KYC, make sure you're already 100% trust with the project.

Well, I don't know about casino sites but I know the fact that there are companies that sell their KYC data to others.
Other companies use this data and calls you with their advertisements. There are also websites which sells their customer data to other companies.
Other companies then show you targeted ads and promotions. Both of this can be possible by casino sites as well.
But yeah you have a point too. Only give your KYC information to platforms which you trust.
Selling of these documents is harsh truth which we need to realise and don't provide our KYC documents to any fake casino out there which could be risky and in most cases they don't call you but will use your documents for some illegal works over the dark web so we must not provide them to anyone whom we don't trust at all.
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc crime on: August 19, 2022, 04:44:29 AM
certainly, i understand that, but we're talking about bitcoin here, so bitcoin and crime are really unrelated
if there is no bitcoin, criminals will use fiat, so why doesn't the government criticize or accuse fiat, they are targeting bitcoin, they see bitcoin as a threat to their dominance
if they don't like bitcoin, they can't use it and they can ban it but don't use illogical reasons to condemn bitcoin
The government around the world just want to spread negative impact of bitcoin usage among people through these articles so that they avoid using it fearing that it's bad money but they will never succeed in these attempts like the past. The people need to realise and understand this reality that it's your money and depends on how you use it.Btc is unstoppable with these fake news.
1123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Longterm Price Target on: August 18, 2022, 05:42:50 AM
In the coming years we can't say with surety but seeing the current trend the btc will be worth much because fiat around the globe is subject to inflation at much faster pace. The USD,EURO and all other currencies are going down each year and the demand for btc is rising and supply decreasing which will surely boost it's price. If it will be still in usage few years later the price will be higher then $200k or something which is just an estimate.
1124  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 18, 2022, 05:30:30 AM
Thats gamblers fallacy and it happens with everything. Like some people play x3 instead of x2 in dice and get better results for a few hours and get a good increase, then they start to think that x3 is a better bet to play than x2 when both of them have the same house edge and absolutely no difference at all. I have seen people only gamble in their bed when they are about to go to sleep, or go there earlier than that and gamble a few hours and sleep, all because they won a jackpot once when they were there. So all in all, thinking that this place would give bigger returns is not true of course, otherwise rollbit would bankrupt in a minute, but its a fallacy.
Once you are able to win some, you probably thinking the same strategy because you think it works, but I agree that it will still depend on your luck and there’s no site that afford to let their gamblers all the time or else they will not make any money with their business. This is gambling, the house will always win wether we like it or not, but if you want to have fun in gambling is still ok to go for the best site and with Rollbit, you can find your excitement here because they offer a lot of games and gambling options, this can be more good.
Yes having lot of gambling options make players time more fun over that platform and Rollbit have that like the trading gambling is unique and you can leverage tarde with different coins and lot of slots to bet upon but you need to be lucky in all the cases to win any amount as it's essential in gambling.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc crime on: August 18, 2022, 05:17:23 AM
Whenever the word cryptocurrency is used people start connecting it with btc usage and it's not true as they might have used some other coins also but even if they have laundered money through bitcoin does it become bad money? Fiat is used in many illicit activities so does it make bad money? Using weapons in wars imply that weapons are not good or the people whose intentions are bad should be blamed ? People need to understand that bitcoin is like any other mode of payment and we need to utilise it in effective manner.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: accurate sport prediction on: August 17, 2022, 06:05:14 AM
Hi guys, pls can anybody send me a website or  football tip star that give accurate football tips that as high success of winning rate or if you know of s reliable site or tip star that give fixed football matches kindly pm thanks

Anybody who claims to know the future and give accurate predictions is a scammer or sharlatan. And anyone who offers to sell you their predictions/courses/tips in exchange for "a fee" only cares about one thing: your money.

Don't be foolish.

Nobody can provide you with accurate sport predictions. There are only prediction estimates and sometimes they can get quite close. They are however always free. Just browse this forums gambling subforums and be active with the community. You will find a lot of data which will help you make your own "accurate predictions".

Also fixed matches? Lol. Even if someone knows insider info why would they give that info away? To get caught or to win less money?
Nobody has that crystal ball telling future and there are scammers only trying to sell these fake service to some fool victims in the market. If they could exactly predict the outcome of any match then why couldn't they bet huge amounts on it with high odds and win out of it instead of finding people to have small fees from them? So this is all fake and you can only predict the outcome based on past judgement and your sense nothing else.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s longest-serving Lead Maintainer calls it quits, names no successor on: August 17, 2022, 05:54:15 AM
That's sad to hear about that he is stepping down from the position but at some point we all have decisions to be made and it's his choice whether to carry on or not but the system won't be affected by that at all. There are many developers who are still working and many who left or died but was there any security compromise with bitcoin? No and that's how it is supposed to work in complete decentralised manner but still respect his decision.
1128  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 17, 2022, 05:41:51 AM
Good news, that Duelbits has now become a European betting partner for club Aston Villa.
Now Duelbits has spread to become a big casino.

https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2022/august/11/villa-announce-partnership-with-duelbits/

It is absolutely a good move from Duelbits, hopefully it will be a start for a bigger move in the industry. I mean now duelbits is an official betting partner of Aston Villa. It would be nice to see a bigger move in the near future, which is to be an official sponsor of a football club so we can see Duelbits name/logo in the main official Jersey of the club.
Yeah that's definitely a big move like partnering with big football club could bring lot of new players to the casino and they have opened a new way in IRL partnership with the clubs.Aston Villa is well known in England and have huge fan base also and as you said there must be some logo display on jersey also of the players and some free bets as the promotion of this deal may come.

1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest missed opportunity in crypto on: August 16, 2022, 06:31:44 AM
There were some tokens back in 2017 during the ICO time I was holding and sold almost all of them like Pundi-X at negligible amount and after some time when i was checking the market cap then it was worth too much to change my financial status with the coins I was holding at that time. But we all have some missed chances on which we regret afterwards but can't do anything. So we have to go with the flow.
1131  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 16, 2022, 06:18:53 AM

I think that there will always be a KYCless casino in the world at all times. Meanwhile, we are working towards creating (which we have in small doses) a situation where you could make decentralized casinos with nobody at the top.

There are project founders for everything of course, but not the people who control the chain or make you lose money or any other centralized thing. It means, when it becomes decentralized fully and gets to be huge, then we are going to end up with a good reasonable way of not giving KYC to anyone and constantly gamble without worry. When that day comes, all the KYC asking centralized casinos will have to think twice about it.
In the future we will have solutions to many current problems and decentralised casinos will be a normal thing you would see but we have to deal with the current times and if we are satisfied with KYC part then it's fine but we also have the other options also.

But i would say we should focus only on duelbits discussion in this thread and not going off topic for too many post on the KYC matter.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of BTC ever hit $40k again? on: August 16, 2022, 06:05:17 AM
If anyone tells you with certainty that they either know it will or won’t hit 40,000 again they are completely full of it. No one knows for sure, but if I had to guess or in my opinion, I believe it will. Let’s keep in mind bitcoin is still quite new, it’s still pretty much in its infancy and with maturity and over time I have complete faith in it going back up to it’s all time highs.
Yeah we all can make speculations regarding the price but can't tell exactly what will happen next but as we estimate we are left with $16k approx to touch the mark of $40k this year again and we still have 4 months behind so if we estimate it then it seems achievable if some big investment are made into the market. But will see with time what happens exactly.
1133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Know the right crypto project to invest in on: August 15, 2022, 05:37:05 AM
There are many fake projects promising big returns to you in the market but in actual they only want profit buckets for themselves and will scam you soon they have the funds so as a newbie if you don't have an idea how to identify the real projects stick to bitcoin or other top altcoins only that are not going to be scam at least.Stay away from these thousands of cryptos in the market that will take your funds.
1134  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 15, 2022, 05:12:47 AM
The thing related to KYC is not that we are using money for wrong purpose and we can show proof to safe ourselves but most of the players in crypto market fear KYC as they want to remain anonymous and submitting your documents could be risky for them and this is reason but yes if you have no issues then you can withdraw any amount from your account.
Online casinos do not record the use of money from withdrawals for wrong purposes but treat KYC to prevent from AML and following the latest regulations, maybe the existence of KYC will address the abuse of AML in gambling platforms. But non KYC users cannot be blamed for privacy reasons but if popular casino platforms implement then they have no other option to avoid KYC.
This is what actually AML policy states so that they have proof whosoever withdraw that amount and they can track him through these KYC things.Casinos have to follow these regulations to abide by the rules and regulations of the government but many people are against such things but we can't do anything about it.
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of BTC ever hit $40k again? on: August 15, 2022, 05:02:11 AM
I observed several changes in the price  within a few months. With these changes, I wish to ask do you think the price of Bitcoin will ever hit $40k again?
I'm just being curious as a new trader.
For sure it will rise above $40k also but you need to be patient and hold your coins till that time.Have you invested at $40k which is why you asking this so that you can cash out your capital once it reach there? See if this is the case then many are there who invested at the top also but in long run bull market will make your recovery with profits also so just be patient.
1136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 14, 2022, 05:29:11 AM
<snip>

This huge amount is prone to suspicion especially when it is your first-time depositing in the Casino. I think it is flagged not because of being a big number player but because the casino is suspicious of possible money laundering and the player is trying to clean its history through the Casino platform.  Whether they like it or not once the Casino is suspicious of the account the casino must do the SOP.
That could be one reason. But with that amount of withdrawal (in your example, $500) the casino could just disregard asking you to process a KYC to them. It really depends on their management. I believe there are reputable casinos that rarely or maybe even are not asking for KYC regardless of how much money you are having on your balance. I may be wrong, so please correct me if I am wrong with this statement.
Big amount can only be questionable if you are just new on that site and have that big money already, but if you do gamble with the site since then, maybe you are safe for KYC but of course it can still be change especially if the site is regulation by the anti money laundering agency. KYC can be asked for bigger account, and if you have nothing to hide then you can still be good.
1137  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 14, 2022, 05:16:28 AM
Thats nice hit from your free spins congrats.
How much did you actually spend before hitting the free spins?
You're lucky with just a small bet you win a total of $1k.

I just did a few spins and then kept buying features, I think I spent about $80 before getting Max Win. I was also quite surprised to see the results I got, on other sites I usually have to spend more before getting Max Win (this is a natural thing and should be). Maybe I just got lucky to get max win by spending a little money.
Congratulations for you max win on that slot and it was your lucky day that made it possible with relatively small bet amount also and this can happen anytime. But on having these type of wins we also got happy and surprised as we were not expecting the max win so happy for you man.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 year of accepting crypto payment in my fashion store on: August 14, 2022, 05:03:49 AM
Really good to see that you are accepting btc as payment for your store and above that also training staff how to use the wallets and make transactions.Want to ask are there are any stores or shop in your locality doing the same like accepting btc or you are the one? I don't see many accepting it unless you are big store but small merchants also accepting it will surely boost the adoption and awareness about bitcoin globally.Hope you have more customers with you paying in bitcoin.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Finally Helped My Friend Invest $50000 Into BITCOIN for Retirement. on: August 13, 2022, 05:57:15 AM
It's really cool that you somehow convenienced your friend for investing in bitcoin for his future plans but you should also make him aware about the other factors that can largely affect him like the Major dips that can occur anytime plunging his initial investment by a significant margins and he tends to sell them at loss also but make sure he has long term holding in mind that will be profitable for him and also a hardware wallet for storing his coins.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Wallet Hack " How to Protect Your Funds on: August 13, 2022, 05:46:28 AM
Exchange market account I think right now the best place for saving and protect our fund, although still have several exchange get trouble with suspend account, freeze withdraw and trouble when deposit fund. I think choose with Binance as your place for saving fund as trading or try with holding coin, Not brave when saving fund on wallet network like Solana exploit and success hacked many Sol coin assets. Right now happening with Solana network and I think later will have several network become target for hacking and stolen assets, not safety when saving your fund on wallet what ever kinds is it between Polygon, Solana, Waves or ERC20 network.
I would say it's not at all good idea to store your coins over these exchanges if your purpose is to hold them rather then trading. The hardware wallets are the best option to keep your funds safe and under your own control while these exchange can also be hacked so don't trust them blindly.
