301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 14, 2024, 10:15:52 PM
When you are depending on someone for assistance because you want to gamble it means that you are risking what you can not afford to lose. Why because you don't have the money to gamble but someone have to give it to you before you can stake.
But when you have jobs that pays you money so well and you are gambling it means you are risking what you can afford to lose. Why because ones you lose your job will give you another money.

However, many people would say even if you have jobs but you are staking higher it also means you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. Moreover it's true and I have to dauth but I have a feeling that ones someone that have a good paying job is staking more than what he can afford to lose, there is no different between addiction there.
from my own Theory I think that you don't need assistant in gambling or Assistant to fund you in gambling order to gamble and make money because whoever that is into gambling knows the risk that is involved and know the disadvantages and the advantages that is involved in gambling in which you can borrow money from somebody to gamble and by the end of the gambling you lose everything so you don't need to depend on any person but only that you should use what you can afford to lose to gamble because two things are involved neither you you win the gambling or you lose the gambling
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 14, 2024, 10:13:05 PM
It depends you are engagement in gambling and also the amount of money you use to stake in gambling, so if you are the kind of someone who is addicted in gambling because of you experience so much or so many losses in gambling and you are trying to recover them by being addicted or consistently gambling I don't think that not to be give you a better opportunity to gamble or better opportunity to win in gambling so winning of gambling is basically unlock and uh if you don't have the lock or the opportunity to gamble or to win gambling you cannot be one of gambling beneficiary and if you are desperating or being addicted in gambling you will continue to experience losses instead of experiencing profit in gambling so it is good for we to follow gambling with our experience instead of being inquisitive in gambling in order to make a profit
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 14, 2024, 10:07:45 PM
When we talk about religion we cannot dine the forbidden things like alcohol, prostitution and many other things in this topic we will discuss why do gambling is forbidden (Haram, interdit) .
So can you tell me why is it forbidden in your religion?
And for the non religious persons what you think ?
Religion is against gambling base on what they believe  that is their doctrine, gambling is good when you are above 18 years and you also have a job that give you a monthly salary so when you gamble with such money the generated by yourself I don't think that is bad so I believe that whoever that have a monthly salary is liable to do anything that the he want to do with the money especially even the person want to engage in gambling so religion cannot determine the kind of life we can choose or we will choose so therefore it is obvious that we have to follow the main protocols in gambling.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 14, 2024, 09:43:10 PM
Does gambling needs experience or anyone +18, even the inexperienced one can also play? Though playing gamble has a limited age grade or age bracket and the accepted is from  +18 years and there are some casinos hall at the door post, it is written clearly that it is only people of +18 can play. But what about the inexperienced ones, are they allowed to play gamble as well? Or they are also restricted to have the fun? In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.
From eighteen years old is allowed to gamble and know that gambling is not something we can say that age difference gives the opportunity of wining gambling, so experience gambler is not determined by age of the gamblers, because someone who is not a gambler and is like 50 years old person might not have the same experience someone who is like eighteen years with continuous experience of gambling, so therefore we have not understand that gambling is all about luck and it's not something that is being determined by age, it's base on experience.

What do you think between the match of DR Congo and South Africa who country do you think that will win, for me I think that South Africa will win Congo because their performance during super eagles semi finals, so I believe that the pressure of South Africa can make them to win Congo but I football is not like that, because I know quite well that Congo can introduce another method since they have watched the match between South Africa and super eagles, Congo can emerg winning because South Africa is not comfortable for the winning nigeria won them for their last match
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: February 10, 2024, 11:43:32 AM
Ever since I have been in this gambling board I have seen lot of questions if this kind and my resolution to it is just I don't have a specific purpose for gambling because the two purpose of gambling here is the core reason for indulging in gambling. how then can I separate them and chose one it doesn't work that way.

for me I gamble for the two either fun or funds, some times it's for fun while some time it's for the money, especially when I'm broke I go for money, yes according people here it's not a response way of gambling but deep down in our hearts we are there for the money. but when im okay or my work is paying me accordingly I just put in some little set out amount and gamble for fun or play those online casino game.
For me anyone who is choosing that gambling is for fun I think its a capital lie because the objective of every gamblers is to ensure that they have make money through gambling, those who is saying that gambling is for fun they are just putting us untrue because when looking at it, it's obvious that gambling is not for fun, the essence of us gambling is because we need money to sort out our problem or issues but people in another way will start saying what is not obtainable in order to deceived some people, when you lose in gambling consequently we do have pain in our heart because is not what we expected for, any man or gamblers dreams is to make money through gambling.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 10, 2024, 11:36:24 AM
Being addicted to gambling can be a thorn in the flesh. We have heard many bad behavior from gambling addicts that shows that gambling is a serious concern requiring serious efforts at curbing it. Many casinos also include in their disclaimer "gamble responsibly" and this shows the danger of gambling addiction.

However, I'm wondering if addiction can make someone become aggressive to the point of leading to domestic violence. Has there been any known case of it happening? Lets know what you have to say.
Been addicted in gambling is not something that can cause a violence but what it can cause you is to be a uncomfortable in your homes because everytime you will be thinking of the money you lose and how you spend money everytime without winning so with that it will make you to be uncomfortable but not be aggressive because right from the beginning you have already know that gambling is all about risk and when you don't take the risk that is involve in gambling you will be unable to make profit in gambling, so I believe that gambling can only make you to be aggressive and violence when you discuss about your loss with people.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 10, 2024, 06:32:06 AM
If suddenly you went on a binge-gambling out of a lack of self-control or something else. For example, you deposit money in rapid succession after a series of losses and the casino management freezes your account. And when you call their customer support, they tell you that your account has been frozen for 3 weeks and the reason why they carried out that measure was because they suspected that you were gambling irresponsibly and decided to take that measure so that you can call yourself back to order, will you feel furious, cuss out, sign out of your account and register on another casino and continue betting. Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling or betting addiction?
Point of order, casino platform can not freeze your account due to you are gambling irresponsibly, their is something that matters in gambling and it neither you don't abide on the rules and regulations of gambling in that gambling platform that will make them to freeze your account, when account is being freeze in particular gambling platform know that such account have committed offence because before you start gambling in gambling platform you are supposed to read tye rules and regulations of the platform and understand it before you fund your account, some people do not understand the terms and conditions of casino gambling platform before they kick off, so that is why they do freeze some of them account.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do i handle my first gambling experience on: February 10, 2024, 06:13:09 AM
Hello senior citizens and my fellow newbies gambler's, now I gat a straight forward question for you all.
How do I prepare myself for my first gambling experience?
What are the things I should expect as a first time gambler?
How do we react to my first gambling results be it winning or lose?
Thank you all for your helpful opinions.
Gambling is about luck and for be a new person in gambling will not give you the chance of losing or the chance of winning,  two things are involved in gambling either you lose or you profit in gambling so what is important in gambling is to know or have in mind that is something of disadvantages and advantages neither you are an old gambler or you are a fresh gambler, it's an opportunity we use to win anything that do with gambling, its doesn't necessarily mean that as an old gambler you have better opportunity to win gambling or as a fresh gambler you also have opportunity to win gambling.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: February 09, 2024, 08:54:29 PM
Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ?  If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?
in gambling we don't have a specific amount that someone supposed to retire with so gambling is all about Game of luck game of opportunity and again a game of success so there is every tendency that you might not win any game before you can retire in gambling because some people just retire in gambling willing without having any lost or any profits they just retired willing why some people retire because of the game the lost or the game they win, especially when you win a good amount of funds through gambling and you are aged that is something that makes some people to retire in order to utilize theirs funds
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investment in gambling on: February 09, 2024, 08:30:44 PM
Gambling is not the right place for investing, I don't ever consider the money I budget for gambling to be an investment. Wherever I invest I have an expectation that I will get a good return from that investment. But in gambling one can never expect that. Because gambling is more about losing than winning. So putting money in gambling can never be thought of as anything other than entertainment. Even then, if a person succumbs to greed, considers gambling as an investment and invests. I think that would be the biggest mistake for that person. So every person should consider gambling as a hobby rather than an investment.
this is 100% not an investment. The author in the starting post invested in some kind of hype project with a ponzy scheme and talks about the excitement that makes you want to make more profit. Previously, dice on trx were popular and there were game tokens in which they invested and part of the profit from the casino went as dividends on this token. Quite an interesting model for investing in the gambling industry, I don’t know if there is anything similar now.
Do you know that many people who invest in any investment doesn't verify very well before investment, Ponzi scheme is what people do like to do, and secondly they like to do it because they see eat as a easy access to make that is why many people like a ponzing skin so they do that because they want to make a triple of their money so that is why it is good to verify before investing in any platform investment is an investment and Ponzi scheme is an investment, investment is good for someone to understand the concepts of the investment before investment.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 09, 2024, 08:14:47 PM
How do you guys manage to take a break in gambling? I’m not asking for advice but rather I’m just interested to know what you are doing on your own or if you really do a break.

I recently decided to take a break since I want to hold my crypto due to its increasing value and I don’t to spend it while it’s giving me passive profit. I just claiming bonus now or anything that is free to still enjoy gambling without risking my money.

What is the instances that makes you take a break in gambling?

When you are economical you can take a break in gambling, because I know quite well that many people who take break in gambling do that when they notice that they are lacking funds so its good and understanding that you have to learn how to take break in gambling, most sometimes I do have a statistics of how I gamble weekly and monthly so that it will not really affect me, so in gambling what we need is to have the clear understanding of it, and it's not what we gamble base on due and die affairs, gambling is something you know that you have to take a break both when you are a beneficiary of gambling and when you are not a beneficiary of gambling, taking a break will give you another insight
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do coaches get sacked over poor performance of players? on: February 09, 2024, 07:59:39 PM
This question is very nice question, but in normal circumstances the performance of players in any club is being determined by the information a coach is processed to them, so coach oriented the players and its few players that fail to listen to coach instructions and perform on their own when they notice the weight of the matches, so sometimes we have to know that the downfall of a football team is base on coach and it team, and if a club is not doing well and the management decides to sack the coach, I will advice that they should sack coach and the team members so that they will not be corruption, sometimes what brings setback of players in a pitch can be a corruption
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 09, 2024, 01:27:24 PM

South Africa off course played a beautiful game in the first half and kept good ball possession to control the game, Nigeria although did come in well into the second half but failed to defend that one goal until the final whistle blew.
South Africa were playing long balls, knowing we don’t have a good midfield, that was why the first half was difficult for the Nigerian players. I was happy the coach saw the problem and substituted Alex Iwobi for Yusuf, even though Yusuf cost us a penalty. His impact on the game was obvious. Nwabali stole the show, the whole country is singing his praises but the man of the match for me is Ekong. If he did not stop that player on the run, we may have conceded a last minute goal.
The only the is that the God's of soccer is with nigeria because from the first half nigeria could not perform the way people expected them, but the grace and wining have already signed by them from above human imagination and that is why the victory have to go to nigeria instead of South Africa, secondly south Africa team was reliable to their goal keeper and they delayed a ball hoping that they will defeat nigeria through a penalty kick because of the performance of their keeper during their last match, that is why they delayed the match and continued pushing it be penalty so that they can easily defeat nigeria..but the luck of football run against them and give nigeria Vic
@ Onyeeze you mean the god of soccer? very funny, truth be told the SA boys performed more better than the super eagles team all through the game that's because they took over the midfield from us and they had control of the left and right flank which was a little difficult for other teams to do because of the presence of Zaidu in the Nigerian team. Secondly I think the SA team wasted a lot of beautiful chances that they ought to have converted to goals especially their number 10 man Percy Tau who had so many opportunities to score but failed to utilize his chances both in the first half and second half of the game. For the penalty kick, I think they were over confident enough to rely on their goal keeper since he's the first goal keeper so far to save 4 straight penalties in the history of AFCON so they believed he would do the magic but instead of him doing the magic the Nigerian goal keeper Stanley Nwabali became the hero of the night as he was able to stop two penalties that eventually gave Nigera the win.

Everyone is aware that they are all confident of their keeper and that is why they are making sure that the match ended in penalty for them to win the super eagles, but the is that their keeper lose focus and attention because of the first penalty kick that super eagles scored already,  when you come to performance I think that their performance is absolutely perfect been South Africa and in teams of scoring goal their was no space because the defenders of super eagles are all tight for them to utilize their opportunities, and secondly Stanley Nwabali is also good in goal post, so if nigeria use the method they played South Africa that means they will not come home this cup.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blue card to be introduced in football. on: February 08, 2024, 10:32:46 PM
It sounds stupid to be honest but other sports leagues like Hockey have a similar rule like that. I can already picture a referee handing out blue card for a tackle that took out one of the best performing player in another team. The rule would only makes sense if the call can be challenged immediately but that could also mean more delays in the game.
From my perspective that rule is not necessary because the rule can only contribute for goal goal in source because the absent of any player within a ten minutes can contribute for wining if am not mistaken, if the rules is being introduced to soccer that means they be more interest in soccer game, the red and yellow is okay in soccer game so that they not be a lot of controversy in football pitch as I stated before now, is not good to have alot of information and rules and regulations in one particular thing so that the thing will not lost value, right now losing of values can occur due to more regulations of soccer game which not good.

Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress?
How? We know that gambling is all about risk and anyone who is into gambling have already know what gambling is all about and I know quite well that gambling is all about good and bad and you can not track gambling from my understanding,  so gambling is a game of risk and you can't hope that with gambling you can be able to win every day by day the way some people do think of gambling, I know quite well that gambling is by luck and for you to win a gambling you don't have to do other things so therefore let us that gambling have to do with something of good calculations but not to depend on gambling
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blue card to be introduced in football. on: February 08, 2024, 10:05:32 PM
There is  these news going round about blue card sin-bins that is said to be introduced as one of the rules in football.
Basically the whole idea of this blue card sin-bins is to punish players that have committed foul against another player, so when the referee shows you blue card, you are to go outside and stay for 10 minutes while the game will still be going on, you will remain there for 10 minutes then you come back afterwards and continue with the game, however this does not take the place of yellow card and the red card.

Locally in my country Nigeria we used to do this for small goal post that is normally called monkey post, if a player tackles his opponent wrongly, we used to tell the prayer to go out and stay for some minutes and then come back, because it's most times a five aside game, so we don't usually use cards. but seeing these rules wanting to be introduced on the international scene surprises me.

So guys how do you see this new intended innovation, is it going to change the face of football across the world, let's have your opinion.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/02/08/blue-cards-to-be-introduced-for-football-sin-bins/
That rule is not idea because sometimes the rules of soccer looks like something that should be amended, but in soccer I don't think their rules they always remove but they continue to add more and more of their rule, this blue card rules that a player will be suspended for a ten minutes time before it can come back to the pitch, so how many blue card will make up a yellow card since two yellow card make up a one red card, so how many blue card will make up just one yellow card. For me, the red and yellow card is okay for football rules and regulations should be okay, because adding more rules of card will make referrers to be confused in pitch

319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's problem gambling different from compulsive gambling. on: February 08, 2024, 09:46:52 PM
Compulsive gambling leads to problem gambling, when the gambler fails to come out from his addiction. This is because when you are a compulsive gambler and can gamble for long giving more time and your funds to gambling. You will end up losing all that you have.

This will now lead that gambler to start looking for where to take a loan, or sell his family properties, and even stealing to gamble forgetting the consequences because he can no longer control himself. Problem gambling is worse compared to compulsive gambling.

I know that before now many people have gone to research and I believe that the gambling effects is when you are addicted in gambling in which you don't have a safe control during when you participate in gambling,  in normal circumstances a compulsive gambling is like a kind of gambling in which the gambler is addicted in gambling because its willing to make out anything good from gambling, so that is why people are given a similar definition of gambling, so in a normal circumstances I do understand that gambling is all about risk and the problem of gambling is when you have not understand the total concepts of gambling and it leads you to become addicted.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: $35K or $45K next? on: February 07, 2024, 10:00:06 PM
At the start of Bitcoin New Year 2024, the market rose to $49K before the Bitcoin ETF Approval, but the market has not been bullish since the market dipped to $40K for quite some time. However, the market can cross 45,000 at any time and exceed this year's maximum market of 50,000. However, many are speculating that the market will most likely not cross $50,000 before Bitcoin halving. However, even if the market does not cross, it will not fall below 36 thousand dollars even if the market is dumping.
Initially I thought that after the ETF drama ended and was approved Bitcoin would easily reach $50k, but in reality Bitcoin struggled to break $50k. I agree with you, maybe $45k looks easy but to reach $50k it seems like bitcoin takes more time.
that is not how the technology of Bitcoin works the increment of Bitcoin comes through the demand and the supply of Bitcoin so when the demand is lesser they increase of Bitcoin will start getting a deficiency in the market so everyone know quite well that it cryptocurrency investment especially Bitcoin experience falling and The Rising almost every time so you cannot justify it in one aspect like rising continuously every time and it also experiences falling and that is what balance the equation of the market and also make the market to be strong so bitcoin is unpredictable
