Anyone have an opinion on whether I should buy more BTCD now. My thinking is the price will go up and down, but will go higher than it is now eventually. Doesn't make much of a difference if I buy now, or does it? I added a good bit more to my wallet during the last week and am holding, which is my plan longterm. But, at some point I would want to sell some but before I ever did that I would want to have a go dbit more than I do now Suggestions, advice?  BTCD will go through the roof once the teleport tech is released, I'm scooping up some more myself dureing the current dip  |

I personally think it is/was either...
(a) virus/trojan
(b) fud
If it was (a) then I truly feel for you I know I would be heartbroken if that was to happened to me. If its (b) then peeps have made better attempts to discredit BTCD and failed so carry on my friend.
But hey thats just my two cents, JJ

Give James a break folks. As far as I can see he stepped up and offered his services and has asked nothing in return, hell he even bought his own btcd. The man has delivered before and I see no reason not to believe he will come through again. I for one would like to thank him as well as the rest of the dev team for there dedication and hard work. Awesome stuff guys  |

Now that the price has dropped some I will share some insight. I'm sure everyone already has an idea, but you all were victims of multiple pump groups which started along the mining period. The enormous hashrate that was present during the mining phase was the what I call "the setup". That alone fueled the "momentum" for the rocket to take off. The rocket did run out of fuel and what your seeing price wise right now is the after effects. This was all planned from the get go.
The real price before this i'm sure you all know is about 60k
There was plenty of fuel left someone just cut one of the fuel lines. Fortunately James and the boys had already begun installation of a new propulsion system, all systems will be a go once again and then from there straight up uranus JJ |

My coins are still in my wallet stakeing, this isn't a pump and dump coin I'm in for the long haul as well.

It's just the usual pre-mine dump. Guys are taking profits from their mining during the POW phase.
I doubt it will go below 3. Then it will start climbing again.
I have to agree, we all knew it was comeing. |

http://btcd.minerpools.com has a cronjob stuck, I'm currently fixing it and making it pay all the pending blocks. I'm sorry that I had to leave this morning the office, but there was an emergency, as I mentioned in the IRC my sister passed away at 7am EST. I apologize for the issue and will post as soon as the pool's fixed and paying out again. Thank you for your patience. My best wishes go out to you and your family  Take a break if the blocks are being accounted for in the backend well hey peeps can wait, I know I sure can. |
