Say what you like but we are all aware of the status quo for open/closed source projects in the crypto sphere.

Please don't think I'm been rude but if you don't like Nexus Niro, find another project that suits your ethics.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Normally I wouldn't touch closed source with a 10 footł Faraday cage but in this case, some things are worth keeping a secret. He has a very specific goal in mind here and by open sourcing the project before its completion would open the doors to a million scam clones.

I predicted the birth of Corp Coins back in 2013, well before the likes of Paycoin etc.

Nexus Niro Is not quite a Corp Coin in the classic sense and I think, provided he stays true to his word in regards to opening the source upon completion of the basic features planned, the Nexus network will be something that will take on a life of its own, without hindrance.

What you mean by trust expiration time?

Current expiration timeout is 24 hours.

If you stop staking for 24 hours, you will have to start again. It is a hassle if your internet connection is disrupted for 24 hours or if you forget to restart staking if your wallet is closed or you must reboot the computer.

It was a community requested change and is a good one.

Also, if you stake for 1 year without timeout, the update will allow you to reach up to 5% instead of the current maximum interest.

Waiting patiently for next update with increased trust key expiration time.  I'm not wasting my time/power staking Niro again until the expiration time is extend as promised, that really annoyed me when my key reset after a months continuous staking.

Trust is something one earns. But yes, the increase is a good idea. With that said though, anything more then 1 week will leave it open to exploitation in my opinion.

Are u sure its not 6.4 Mh/s struggle to see 64Mh/s with only 6% useage.

Maybe your right.. I'll take a screen cap later. Just got up.

I will place my vote at the end of the year. I am a human of my word.

I gave him until the end of the year to either talk to me or send my btc back.. Regardless of truth, Travis Savo, is someone who might not deliver or might go awol for weeks on end.

Unless something insanely tragic has happened in his life, there is no excuse to not contact your investor.

Sorry buddy, but I gave you ample time, now this is public. I trusted you. We were supposed to change the world with decentralised governance.. Switch is dead.

This is my address to return whatever btc may remain. Preferably the original ~60 btc worth ~15k AUD at the time.

Ok, so from what I can see... There's no tweaking to be done with the CUDA skminer Sad

I'll screen cap and report soon. Bouncing heavily between what I assume is on average 64MH/s.

Ok so what's happening is this. It takes about a max of 5 seconds for the card to wind up to it's stable rate of ~64MH/s +-1MH/s.

If a block is discovered before that 5 second period, the first couple of lines can show anything between 0 and about 40.

Running on the latest drivers and cuda toolkit via "GV-N78TOC-3GD" (Gigabyte GTX 780ti 3GB OC edition) - http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4839#ov

The GPU load is only 6% so once theres an optimised CUDA miner, we should see some AMAZING rates coming from these cards.

Hey man, how many coins are you mining per day with your setup?

With the single  R9 270oc 2gb I mined about 500 over 5 days roughly. Some days were better then others.

Looks like I can't get the 780ti running due a compute compatibility issue.. Gonna make a post in a bit detailing the issue and whether or not theres a way around this cause so far from what i can tell, I'm up a nasty creek without a paddle. (Theres nothing I can do to get windows mining via CUDA on the 700 series or above)

Code:
[MASTER]  Failed to Update Hight

UPDATE

I was supposed to unlock the wallet for staking AND mining!

I'm an idiot xD Don't worry peoples it's all good!

Just preemptively asking before I swap out the cards...
So I have the x64 win build of the cuda skminer... Lookin at a few bits and pieces trying to jolt my memory but I'm not sure if theres any parameters to set in the batch launch file :/ Am I mistaken?

edit

My question is this. What flags can I use in the .bat? I know I wedge em in the following line where "x" "etc" and "derp" is where I assume flags go..

Code:
skminer.exe -X -etc -derp 127.0.0.1  9325

Strange how?

Maybe because of it's closed source?

So after crashing the computer multitudes of times I'm still not able to stablise higher 16.4MH/s

I would go through listing all the combinations but it would be a flood of text.

If anyone can throw me some proven drivers for win 10 or conf settings for a 270oc 2gb on the S/K algo. I'll give it a shot.

Short and tall, I'm happy with I have achieved and there was 0 skill or luck involved.

I'm keeping mem-clock @ 350 and intensity @ 21 with engine and shaders @ the cards stock clock. This gives me 16.1 +-0.1 with a kinder heat/load on the gpu.

Cheers for everyones help!

Early reports.

The drivers didn't crash the system but on their own didn't increase performance

Quartered the defualt mem-clock and increased gpu-enigine to 1000 and this got me up to 16.5 +-0.1

I'll keep tinkering.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus [Niro] - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: September 25, 2015, 12:25:51 AM
I would increase your gpu-engine.  Mem-clock doesn't matter too much with this hashing algo.  Underclocking memory might actually help with heat.

You may also want to set gpu-powertune if you increase the engine.

Cheers for the advice! I'll give it a go.

Nothing really other than drivers I think i had best results with 15.7 here's a link to the dll's if u need it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/e70ctq2m8bm9cjo/15.7cl.rar?dl=0

Hopefully these might be win 10 compatible.

Cheers!

All you're doing in GPU-z is discovering the stock clocks of your cards....

Not exactly the best for max hashrate.

What cards do you have and what is your best rates you get from them?
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus [Niro] - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: September 24, 2015, 10:35:51 AM

Maybe dropping the dll's into the root of the miner is causing the issue.. Damn you microsoft. This is why I moved to ubuntu on my new main machine when you killed my old one.. Literally.. Killed the hdd, I even though said no to the update but it shoved it down my throat in case i would say yes and put win 8.1 into an ilod.. woot :/

I think I will need to rollback the actual systems amd drivers to 14.9 then.. Meh, I'll be moving to 780ti anyways, I just wanted to see what I could pull from the 270. Never should have bothered swappin out to the spare card to begin with.

Well movin on. Up next, CUDA fun!

Well, I think I've found the sweet spot for the Gigabyte R9 270 OC edition. The drivers suggested in this thread have done nothing but made the miner crash with the exception of the singular 14.9 amd_opencl64.dll (which I'm leaving in there just cause).

Using GPU-z to match "gpu-engine" : "975", "gpu-memclock" : "1400" and "gpu-shaders" : "1280" and lowering "intensity" : "21" with all other values default, the miner runs at 16.2MH/s with a variance of +-0.1

I'm ready to move onto the 780ti now.. This should be interesting.. xD

R9 380's got 24 mh/s each (pretty disappointed in this figure)
FX 9590 Pulled around 300 PPS in the cpu channel

Which driver, version really does matter. You can add the dll's to the same folder as the miner to save re-installing drivers.

I did add the dll's to the same folder as the miner...  i dunno about what version, it's late, and I've been drinking lol

Whatever the newest driver for windows 10 is.

I dropped in the 14.9 amd_opencl64.dll on its own, no other drivers, and now it actually runs.. But theres no increase in performance beyond my reported ~16.1MH/s

I'll try messing around with other combinations of drivers, but so far this is the only one ive seen not crash.

I dropped the 14.9 amldocl64.dll into the root suggested my mummus and once again it crashed the miner. I'm guessing it wont try use it if I put it into any sub folders like resources etc.

There's no flags needed in the batch in right?

I could try simply reverting the systems drivers as opposed to dropping into the miner. Might be a windows 10 thing?

Is there a GPU miner for prime clusters?

Not to the best of my knowledge.
