1  Local / India / Re: Raj Kundra-Shilpa Shetty in Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme Scam on: Today at 06:11:48 AM

Don't you think Shilpa Shetty isn't aware of his husband's frauds. Raj Kundra is a fraud person and Shilpa is aware of all of his deeds.
Why do you think Shilpa is still with this guy? She could have very well divorced him long ago but chose not to do so.
Even after the recent porn case, Shilpa and Raj are still married. Some way or the other Shilpa is still involved with his frauds.
2017 was the year for frauds. So many frauds happened in the name of ICOs while bitcoin was at an ATH.
No wonder Raj took advantage of it and filled his pockets with bitcoins.

Yes she is aware of all those frauds but she might not be able to leave him due to other reasons. Maybe Raj makes more money through his fraudulent activities which helps Shilpa Shetty to live a kind of life like we see in the media. I personally don't think she is involved in all these activities.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Meme" coins are ruining everything on: Today at 06:01:32 AM
It makes sense because the growing hype for meme coins means that meme coin transactions also continue to increase, and this results in network fees also increasing. and of course utility altcoins are also impacted by the increase in transaction fees. In my opinion, this is a problem that cannot be avoided because one of the disadvantages of cryptocurrencies is that transaction fees often change (depending on transaction density).

High transaction fees wasn't a periodic issue before meme coins hype. For example the Bitcoin network a few days back was completely congested due to ordinals meme coins. The fee went so high that it was impossible to make small amount transactions. Thankfully it has gone down considerably but the issue still prevails and happens periodically. I saw the same problem happening on Solana. They are facing the same network congestion problem due to meme coins.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This GameFi would take over the crypto gaming space on: Today at 04:28:50 AM
If you can point out that particular unique selling proposition in this that we have missed out probably then it'll be very beneficial for us.

These guys will never answer any queries as they are only here to spam the board and promote the gaming project. I assume they have been paid to do it and that is why the avoid having any conversation on their thread. They themselves might not be aware about the details of this gaming platform. What they are feed by the owners of the project they are using those to promote it.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: arb to eth? on: Today at 03:59:34 AM
ARB is a native ERC20 of Arbitrum blockchain which is designed to improve Ethereum scaling issue. USDT is again an ERC20 token which is using Ethereum blockchain. All ERC 20 tokens need Ethereum which acts as a gas to run on it's blockchain. In your case you will need Ethereum in your wallet to complete the swap.

No incorrect. The native token on Arbitrium is ETH, which is used for gas on the ARB network. The token is used for other things but not to pay gas fees.

Most chains use ETH for gas, except Polygon which uses Matic.

The op just needs to withdraw some ETH from some exchange and use that to swap his ARB to ETH and then use that to buy BTC and by BTC I mean the wrapped WBTC since you can’t own BTC on any blockchain that isn’t bitcoin.

Okay! Thanks for correcting me. I thought ARB was the token that is used to run Arbitrum ecosystem. As it is an ERC20 just like others it will need Ethereum as gas. I was not aware of it and thanks for clarifying it.
5  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: Today at 03:14:02 AM
I found this tweet going viral on social media. What do you guys think? What she is saying is a dark reality when I look into the current squad.

Those stars would be really interested to be a part of ICC winning squad and I don't blame them because they are the one who took Indian cricket to this level and we can't deny India once had hope on only one man to win matches now dominating any side in the world no matter in home or away games.

ICC extended the deadline to make changes in the T20 squad upto 25th May, all I wanted to see Rinku in the place of that one extra spinner that they are never going to play at all.

Seems like many Indian cricket fans are not appreciating the enormous effort that the selectors put in to decide which player should be part of the squad. I am not against any player but to me this will be the last time we will see many players playing their last WC. Most of them will retire and will only be available for IPL.

If ICC has extended the date then we might see a few new faces in the squad. I hope those who are deserving should be included in the team. Rituraj Gaikwad is one of them as he is now the proud owner of the orange cap.

Another controversy that erupted as soon as the World Cup squad was announced was the appointment of Hardik Pandya as the Vice Captain of the squad. Ajit Agarkar has now come out with the reason why Hardik Pandya was the given the responsibility. He said 'no replacement for Hardik Pandya'. I think there were replacement but MI had pressurized him to go for Hardik Pandya. Bhumrah has proven that he can take that responsibility and so did SKY. We have seen how bad his captaincy has been in the IPL and there is a lot of doubt about Agarkar's ability to be the chief selector now.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy ALTs now or no? on: Today at 02:29:20 AM
It is obvious that the current bear market will not last long. Buying in the dip and selling when the market is going up is the strategy that is always recommended. The only issue is to find the right crypto to get higher returns from the bull market. Finding the right ones does require good amount of research but risk factor always remains as investment is always risky in a volatile market.

8  Local / India / Re: Don't make too much assumptions and take loan! on: Today at 02:04:55 AM
Taking a loan and buying Bitcoin might look profitable on the papers for now according to him. Whereas he forgot to add the duration and the interest he will be paying on that loan. Eventually he will be in profit but his expectations on returns to big to digest. Predicting the future is not that easy when investment is in a digital currency that is known for its volatility.

Take a look at the current price of Bitcoin now. Beginning of this year Bitcoin broke its previous ATH and created a new. Currently the price of Bitcoin is below its previous ATH and it is expected to go further down. Imagine if Bitcon keeps trading in the same price range and an investors bought 1BTC last year then he is in loss and still has to make a payment monthly towards the loan.

Also he forgot about 30% capital gains tax and 1% TDS on every crypto trades which shows that he is not completely aware of the taxations or thought it's so easy to evade them as such that.

I never take loan to invest which is highly risky apart from that can make our life miserable if things didn't go in the way we want, instead better take the stairs and plan things that doesn't hurt us financially even if it doesn't give the expected results.

That is correct he completely forgot about capital gain tax and TDS. He thought that his gains and his loss if he sells his Bitcoin will not be taxable. I feel that this user is either bluffing or he is trying to find out what kind of reaction such a post can get from the crypto community. Knowing reddit there are many speculative post than original ones. This might be another speculating post to check if his plan will be successful.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network. Legitimate or a waste of time? on: Today at 01:29:44 AM
It has been said and discussed many times here that Pi Network is a scam. There have been so many articles that have been written around Pi Network and why it is a scam. Even Binance last year had posted about it on their blog. You will need to read it to understand why it is a scam?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is too many coins and chains but why need? on: Today at 01:19:10 AM
If you feel confident & comfortable in using USDT then it is your choice. There are many who still prefer using BTC for payments and other purpose. There are traders who use Ethereum as gas for transaction within the Ethereum ecosystem and that goes for others that you have mentioned.  All I trying to say it depends on your requirement and your needs to use other chains. You need is USDT that is why you are using it.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Meme Coins still Catch Up With The Likes of Doge and Shib? on: May 02, 2024, 07:16:15 AM
I think it’s possible that other, newer meme coins can catch up with DOGE & SHIB for sure. SHIB came out of nowhere & people made a lot of money with it. I can’t advise you on what the next big returns meme coin will be, that’s the game unfortunately, do your own research & good luck.
A new memecoin can possibly emerge and catch up or even top doge and Shiba Inu, but the problem is that so far none has stepped up yet for the challenge, leaving this two at the top of the meme ranking. The problem with memecoins is that there are too many of them and most of them are scams, making it hard to pick the ones that can last as these top memes.

I doubt a new meme coin can suddenly take the position of the top two Doge & Shib. The third and fourth meme coin according to market capitalisation is PEPE & Dogwifhat. If any meme coin that can overtake Doge or Shib will be either PEPE or Dogwifhat. The possibility of a new coin going on the top is a vague assumption to me.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy on: May 02, 2024, 05:43:54 AM
I think that $500 dollar is a lot for someone and if you can use it and manage it in best way then undoubtedly you will get a big return from it and there are many alt coin in Crypto market. You just need to figure out and investment into the potential alt coin. Bnb, jup, manta,  arb, fantom and there are many more. But unfortunately none of these what you have mentioned in your poll.. I don't know those altcoins. So can't say anything

I think you forgot that the current market is not inclined towards utility. It is more into meme coins and we have seen earlier this year what kind of returns these meme coins generated. I think apart from investing a significant portion of the $500 into Bitcoin the rest amount should be equally invested in meme coins such as Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, PEPE and dogwifhat. Currently due to the bear market all these coins are very cheap. When the bull market returns these coins will surely pump again.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes' ‘Good for Nothing' Blockchains on: May 02, 2024, 05:20:45 AM
It is just a decade-old industry and already the media is contemplating the real-world usage of the listed cryptocurrencies. I guess the media house like Forbes forgot that crypto was never meant to be used to solve real world problems, whereas it was created to be the currency of the internet.  After seeing the list I am certain about one thing that everyone except the crypto community hates Monero. This fear of Monero has been growing so much that they listed it as a useless crypto whereas it solves the biggest issue of the real world which is privacy.

16  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 01, 2024, 06:55:00 AM
All known names are in the squad for the upcoming World Cup. KL Rahul and Rinku Singh not getting a spot is a surprise. Already the team has two wicketkeepers therefore KL Rahul was removed but Rinku could play a significant role down the order. Most of the top tier players except Virat Kohli are out of form. I hope they regain their form before the big event starts in June.

Exclusion of KL Rahul is much expected since Pant is back but can't understand about Rinku Singh cause he clearly made impact on every given chance and he could be the player that can finish the games when needed, now who is going to be the finisher is big question.

Still the team is batting heavy but wrong combination can cause the tournaments and that we can witness from what happened to RCB and MI now the same might repeat for India in WC too.

Politics played a part in the selection.

Why wasn't Rituraj Gaikwad not considered in place of Yashasvi Jaiswal? I was going through the stats of both batters in IPL 2024 and found out both played same number of innings, which is 9. Rituraj got 447 runs and Jaiswal got 249 runs, out of 249 runs he has only 1 century where as Gaikwad missed by 2 runs. For me Rohit Sharma was the reason why Jaiswal got a position in the squad.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance REZ Coin? Pump or Dump? on: May 01, 2024, 04:53:06 AM
Lately Binance has been listing a lot of new tokens after the new CEO was announced. Before it only listed tokens or coins that genuinely were good crypto projects. If you check the new listing screen on Binance app you will see all those crypto pumped heavily when they got listed but later on in a few days time started getting dumped. At the moment the market is in bearish mode therefore these crypto are still getting dumped.
18  Local / India / Re: Using savings account for crypto trading can terminate your account! on: May 01, 2024, 04:03:50 AM
I don't find any difference between stock trading and crypto trading. So when we are allowed to continue stock trading using savings bank account, the same should apply for crypto trading as well. I don't see any issues in that.

But the entire crypto scenario is very confusing in India. So I won't be surprised if the bank deactivates anyone's account for cryptocurrency trading. But ideally they should not do that.

It's better to avoid disclosing that we are receiving funds from the crypto trading platforms to the banking employees, cause employees may not aware of everything and they could just do what they thing is right and making them to realize its their mistake is actually big task, so unless we stuck in the situation we need to tell them, just keeping the mouth shut is good for us.

That is in a way a right thing to do but as a bank every transaction made by anyone are monitored by the internal system for security reasons. I am sure a bank will know that funds are being credited from a local exchange or being debited towards a local exchange. In terms of P2P if the number of transactions goes up and if it triggers internal audit system then the account holder will be asked about the source. In that kind of a situation an account holder will have to inform from where the funds are coming in or going out.

BCCI announced the 15 men squad for T20 WC 2024

My first impression is why the fuck they missed Rinku, who is the best ever finsiher and BCCI made a big mistake in that part, still he is in the reserves of someone goes injured.

Samson finally banged the door with his IPL performances but 4 spinners and 3 pacers is again risky.

Do you think this is the team gonna win the trophy?

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i earn from NFTs and Game on: April 30, 2024, 05:03:34 AM
I remember seeing a promotion for the game Undead's bounty on the forum. I looked into it a bit and it wasn't bad, but I don't have specific information. I have owned NFT in some games before and made money with it. Is Undead this kind of game? It would not be right for me to comment without playing the game. There are some people who have tried it around here, they will give you more accurate information.

I did saw them promoting their game and NFT here in the forum and on reddit. They were running an airdrop promotion campaign on reddit. I did not find it interesting at that time as I was busy checking other airdrops as I had no clue what the airdrop was for. That is why I skipped it and I think if they had run their signature campaign a bit longer then a good amount of interest would have been generated for the game.
