ETA on block explorer?
WE JUST HAD A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH. GIVE THE DEVS TIME.
I said ETA. I did not say hurry with block explorer. The ledger is the other half of the 'Major Breakthrough"

I'm not sure to be honest. I will have to talk to Shahim when he wakes up. I would assume we can have it up and running within the next day or two.

He is taking care of that. I have been spending every minute finishing and testing the anon nodes. I have only had 2 hours sleep in the last two days, so I'm going to put my feet up and watch a movie and probably nap on the couch for a while. I will try keep my eye on the forum but if no one is on here for the next few hours, don't be surprised. We are all very tired!!

I am getting confused, somebody sent me a lot of 1 NAB transactions.

that is how it work. when send 5 it will divide to 1 nab of 5 times

Yes, it is part of the scrambling of the transaction.

0 - 10 NAB will be sent to their final destination in 1 NAB chunks
10 - 100 NAB will be sent to their final destination in 10 NAB chunks
100 - 1,000 will be sent to their final destination in 100 NAB chunks
1,000 - 10,000 will be sent to their final destination in 1,000 NAB chunks

etc..

Then the remainder will be sent as the last chunk. So back to my examples:

If i send 100 NAB through the anon network, the destination will receive 9 x 10 NAB transactions and 1 x 8 NAB transaction totalling 98 NAB (100 - 2 NAB transaction fee).

If i send 10 NAB through the anon network, the destination will receive 8 x 1 NAB transactions totalling 8 NAB (10 - 2 NAB transaction fee).

If i send 548 NAB through the anon network, the destination will receive 5 x 100 NAB and 1 x 46 NAB totalling 546 NAB (548 - 2 NAB transaction fee).

I hope that makes sense?

I have navajo's in my old wallet . Can I still new download new wallet to test ? Will not it mix with old ones ? Thanks.

NAB and NAV are completely separate, they will not mix. You can run both wallets at the same time with no problem.

Thank you for you quick reply. This is what I wanted to confirm I will download NAB wallet to test anon tech. My Navajo Coins will remain safe in its wallet because they are separate.

Just don't do anything silly like copying your NAV wallet.dat file over to your NAB wallet and you should be fine Smiley

Don't try and use your NAV wallet.dat file or any of its configurations with the NAB wallet though.

Finally the day is here! We have done it, the beta test has started!

All you need to do to send an anonymous transaction is to tick this box on the send coins tab:

Everything else will happen automatically. It will choose a random node from our anonymous network and it will send your coins to the node. The node will obfuscate the transaction amount and send the destination information through the private subchain. Then the destination will receive their coins split into as many rounded denominations as possible and then the remainder.

There is also currently a cost of 2 NAB to send a transaction through the Anonymous Network so you'll receive 2 less than you send.

Here's some examples of amounts in and amounts out:

This splitting and rounding of transactions is part of the obfuscation process. It means that if there are massive amounts of transactions most of which are for 100NAB then it makes it very hard to tell who is sending which coins to whom.

I just wanted to tell you all how that part works so that you don't get surprised when you receive small rounded transactions at the destination end.

We are putting together a more detailed document which shows more information about how it all works.

Hopefully this is enough for now.

See you all on https://navajocoin.slack.com/messages/anon-beta

Thanks for believing in us!

All the people spreading FUD can now please leave the room!

689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAVAJO COIN - Anonymous Solution in Testing Phase ● CHAT ● Faucet! on: January 31, 2015, 12:33:47 AM
Hi everyone.

This is probably the final update from me before we launch the Anon Beta Network:

Stage 1 - Completed

Navajo Anon Beta master nodes are stable and staking/confirming blocks.
Navajo Subchain nodes are stable and staking/confirming blocks.
The anonymous transaction script is consistently working.

Currently, coin's sent to the entry node have their transaction information passed through the subchain and out the exit node as per the white paper.

This is working in real time and has been operating flawlessly.

Stage 2 - Completed

Multiple entry and exit nodes have been set up.
Architecture for a multinode system has been established and peer reviewed.
Architecture for obfuscation of transaction amount has been established and peer reviewed.

Stage 3 - Completed

The multinode system has been implemented and tested.
Obfuscation of the transaction amount has been implemented and tested.

All scripts for running the anon transactions on a multinode system and all obfuscation methods have now been written.
Testing has occurred and we're happy with how this is running.

Stage 4 - Completed

Distribute finished code to all of our anonymous nodes

All code has been distributed to our anonymous navajo nodes.

Stage 5 - Completed (testing)

Make final update to the transaction UI in the beta wallet to enable random node selection

The update has been made, users will now have a checkbox on the send coins tab which will route the coins through our anonymous network. The fundamentals of this are working and I have sent transactions using the new UI via anonymous network. I am currently running some thorough tests to ensure the random selection is working and all anon nodes are up and running correctly.

Stage 6 - Pending

Compile and test the new wallet in Windows, Mac & Linux

Stage 7 - Pending

Release the beta wallet to the public on 1 Feb 2015

--

The wallet updates to enable anonymous sending have been completed.

I have just successfully sent an anonymized transaction with the new wallet through a randomly selected node. All coins were processed by the anon network as expected and received by their intended destination.

We are definitely on the home stretch and looking good for a Feb 1 2015 Release date for the Anon Beta Network!

come on guys answer my questions a bit faster whats up with the wallet? v2.0.5.0-UT-ZAH is this okay to stake or not
IM NOT a person invest 5 dollar in this coin so take it serioussly.

v2.0.5.0-UT-ZAH is the full release client and is stable to store your coins in and stake with.

I apologise if we're not all over the forum over the next 24 hours, we're quite busy getting everything lined up for the Beta Release.

guys i downloaded the wallet yesterday still syncing wtf?? its at 61% why is this taking so longg?? and sometimes it gives error shutting down.
and restarting and then continues.. but this is really strange. is this wallet secure? before i send 50k to my wallet before update is done.
i downloaded this wallet from the website. usually it takes 4hours but this is fucking annoying.

Hey man, if you're having trouble syncing, you can get a pretty recent copy of the blockchain from the first page of this topic:

Hi everyone.

As promised, here's another update on how things are shaping up for the start of our beta test of the Anon network:

Stage 1 - Completed

Navajo Anon Beta master nodes are stable and staking/confirming blocks.
Navajo Subchain nodes are stable and staking/confirming blocks.
The anonymous transaction script is consistently working.

All scripts for running the anon transactions on a multinode system and all obfuscation methods have now been written.
Testing has occurred and we're happy with how this is running.

Stage 4 - In Progress

Distribute finished code to all of our anonymous nodes

Stage 5 - Pending

Make final update to the transaction UI in the beta wallet to enable random node selection

Stage 6 - Pending

Release the beta wallet to the public on 1 Feb 2015

--

My testing has gone well over the last 24 hours. I believe I have found and fixed most of the bugs. We are currently rolling the finished code out across all of our anon nodes.

Once this is done, we will test the random selection of nodes, then integrate the node selection into the Wallet.

As you can see I have adjusted the stages slightly. We have decided to hold off on adding SSL and encryption until after the beta test is complete.

This is so we are more easily able to debug what is happening if anyone runs into errors during the testing phase.

We will implement the encryption before the final release obviously.

We are still on track for a Feb 1 2015 Release date for the Anon Beta Network!

You are so stupid to think that more than a half year of hard work of few guys was to give it all to pump group? Don't you think that if Nav Devs would just earn fast money they would do this long time ago? I hope when anon will be released you will be first one here to sorry for your false accusation. Nothing upset so much as accusing hardworking honest people of being cheaters.

Same thing happened back in July 2014. No anon was released and lot of people ended up with unwanted bags.

Real question is: Why do we keep trying to build our investment on imaginary development when our Dev don't even have decency to admit that he is part of the pump group?

Nav was always a bit shady no wonder that we see the dev trying to manipulate their price...

I'm not making it up. This has gotten out of the hand and lot of investors have started to question the legitimacy of this project.

Look dude, I could waste my time taking a screen cap video of me sending an anonymous transaction through the subchain system but it's kind of pointless.

You will see for yourself if a few days.

Plus I'm kind of busy right now doing important things, like getting everything finished for the beta test.

No one in the dev team is part of a pump group.

Either get some actual facts, or go make your own coin with blackjack and hookers.

Cheers,

All scripts for running the anon transactions on a multinode system and all obfuscation methods have now been written.
These are being run through a testing phase to try and eliminate any bugs.

Stage 4 - Pending

Add an encryption layer on top of all node & wallet communications.

Stage 5 - Pending

Release to the public for mass testing of load / performance on the anon network.

--

Everything is making sense and seems to be working well. I will thoroughly test the multinode & obfuscation code over the next 24 hours as it is quite complicated.

After my testing is proven satisfactory, I will move on to the double encryption and then make the final tweaks to the wallet client.

We are still on track to having the beta network launched at the end of this month as planned.

I hope this is good news for everyone. Our team has a big few days ahead of us so please bear with us.

Cheers & Happy Trading.

any screenshots maybe of this navajo technology? wouldnt hurt for trust.

I'm not sure what a screen shot is going to prove? It's all very boring, algorithms etc.. The wallet itself looks almost exactly the same and is still having its finishing UI touches added.

All will be revealed in a few days and you can try the tech for yourself. We're just putting the finishing touches in place!

LOOK AT TRADING - IT IS NOW A "TUG OF WAR" BETWEEN THE WINNERS AND THE LOOSERS.

One of the best words . Situation is really like war no one knows what is happening but after Dev's fresh update my believe is going to be more stronger in Navajo's Anon tech.
Anon solution it is impossible. Last IP will be always visible... But if Navajo Dev create this.... this coin will hard explode....

If you have a look at the white paper linked on the home page it will explain how our system works. We are in the process of making a clearer branded document which explains our technology more.

We break the transaction chain by moving the transaction amount and destination through the private, secure & encrypted sub chain. This makes it not as simple as just watching amount sent and amount received.

We break the chain of events between sender and receiver making it impossible to prove beyond reasonable doubt that User A sent coins to User B.

Of course you will still be able to say that User A sent some coins and User B received some coins if you know which wallet addresses to monitor. This is part of the block chain and is public information. However, you can simply create new wallet addresses and only use your wallet over a secure channel. Also, our Navajo Magic Gateway is in between the sender and receiver and all communications being double encrypted, scrambled and scattered to newly generated wallet addresses. This will make it very hard (read: impossible) to intercept, decipher and follow the transaction path.

I hope this helps you understand what we're doing.

Cheers,
Pakage.

Dev is not involved in pump group, Ryan is not a genuine pumper,
he is just taking benefit of great Anon release to get more members.

NAV is on natural and solid growth, so don't sell your in panic.

Are you retarded?

Why would someone want "pump group" investors who would dump it as soon as news is over?

Only reason someone would want them is if coin is shit and you're just looking to make quick profit from it.

Dev deleted all posts that talked about "price". Price shouldn't be a concern of Dev. Did Satoshi talked about price EVER? No. He created bitcoin and left. He didn't even know nor did he care about how much bitcoin costs in $.

Listen to me for once: An honest Dev never care about price and if Dev is monitoring price 24/7 that should worry every investor about this project and their investment.

Hey man, to be honest, a dev that doesn't care about price is an idiot. Price is an indicator of what the public thinks your coin is worth and if your coin is worthless to the public then why should we continue to spend time and effort on it?

The Navajocoin team believe in our coin, we believe in our technology and we believe it can help people who genuinely need their transactions to remain anonymous for whatever reason they have. We have every faith that the public believe in us as well and we smile when the price goes up. It is a confidence boost to us that we are doing something worthwhile and that our efforts are appreciated.

This is a community project, none of us are paid for our work. I have spent almost every possible spare minute of my life for the last 9 months helping make this anonymous technology a reality and I have received a grand total of about $50 worth of donations for hundreds and hundreds of hours worth of work. The same holds true for the rest of the team. We have spent thousands of hours between us trying to make this technology happen. The only way we get paid for this work is by investing into the technology we are helping to create.

For you to come in here with this attitude is nothing short of insulting.

I have invested my own hard earned dollars into this coin because that is how much I believe in what we are doing. I have effectively paid to work on this coin, instead of being paid, that's how much I believe in the worth of this technology for society. Of course developers of a coin, especially of a community based charity coin, are going to be concerned with price because not only is that how we judge the fruits of our labour, but its also how we are compensated for our efforts.

For you to talk about satoshi like you know the guy is an absolute joke. Are you trying to tell me that no one on the board of the bitcoin foundation owns a single bitcoin? It's like saying that no one who runs a company should have shares in it or care about the share price. Of course they do, don't be naive.

We are not primarily concerned with price. We are primarily concerned with the technology, being true to our deadlines and bringing new innovations to the crypto world which can help people transact without interference from states.

Prices go up, prices go down, I'm not concerned in the short game. This coin has real value in the long term and the price will go up a lot in the near future because it has intrinsic value, we have clear goals and a dedicated development team.

In other news, I will be updating you all within 24 hours with the progress of my refinements to the anonymous transactions.

We are still on track to release the beta network for mass testing by 1 Feb 2015.

Please don't feed the trolls.
