1121  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Burner Cell phones on: July 12, 2015, 09:10:12 PM
Where I am, these types of phones are essentially useless because you'd have to buy a local sim, and to do that you'd need to show your id or passport, which defeats the purpose of the item itself. You mentioned that you can get an international card with the phones. Will you be able to provide that with the phone? How much credit will it have?
And will you do international shipping?

Most/many countries don't have laws where you have to have your passport or government-issued ID scanned before buying a SIM card.

Worst case you can bribe a hobo with a cold beverage to sign up for you with his own ID.

I'd be more worried about the phones not supporting one or more of the many cellular frequency ranges in different regions around the world.

Its a possibility. The phones are for sale for people who want them still.

Initially, I  was interested, point is that you are asking for 116 USD and this fancy cam is sold on Ebay from 85 USD.

another point is, that you are offering physical collateral, which is not comfortable for anybody. maybe you should reconsider collateral or add additional one (like your bct acc)

Where on ebay is it sold for 85USD? Are you talking about the one with the busted lens?

uhh nope, for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/JVC-Everio-GZ-MS230-Camcorder-Free-Shipping-/321805150686?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aed14e9de and this one is with free shipping.

+ (and I mentioned it earlier), is not comfortable at all provide physical collateral. you should really reconsider this, if you want to get loan here.

I've already gotten the loan btw. And there is def something wrong with that camera if he has it for that much.

I can get the international sims for the phone, and It can have as much credit as you want. I will ship internationally for a fee.

I'll buy a domain for a dollar. If all goes well I'll post about it.

Ah ok thank you, if I ever need to do something illegal I'll get in touch Cheesy.

Its less about illegal and more about staying anonymous. Kind of like bitcoin.
1128  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Burner Cell phones on: July 11, 2015, 09:22:12 PM
Whats the purpose of these phones?

I've never heard of them before?

Burner cell phones are used to stay anonymous. You typically buy them use them a few times then throw them away. Because your name isn't tied to them in anyway its harder to track you.
1129  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Burner Cell phones on: July 11, 2015, 08:08:58 PM

Are you sure they're unlocked?

Can I had any sim?

Your price is cheap but shipping outside US should be enough to kill the deal.

They are simple prepaid phones. Theres really not a lot to gamble on here.

I was actually just pmd by someone offering to give me a decent portion of the loan in exchange for some domains held by escrow.  Smiley
1132  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for .4 btc loan, Collateral Available through escrow if needed on: July 11, 2015, 05:00:10 AM
Are you able to sign a message from an old address to prove that your account is not hacked? From the looks of it, you have somewhat used your reputation as a means to increase the chances of you getting a loan.

While your camera is certainly better then nothing in terms of collateral, I don't think it is very good collateral. I don't think a lender would have a very easy time in selling it in the event you don't repay your loan, and the shipping costs would take up a good portion of the loan amount.

I can't provide any old addresses unfourtantly, I've actually very recently had to change my btc address on blockchain.info . Had the identifier cookied and not written down Sad

If no one wants to do it, its not a big deal. I can try and sell a few domains to get some of the money I need.
1133  Economy / Lending / Re: Quickseller Short Term Loans, up to 50 [btc] available [collateral] on: July 11, 2015, 04:55:38 AM
Over 50 BTC available for collateral loans

Would you be willing to accept a Camera shipping from the USA as collateral for a .4btc loan? The camera is worth around $135-$165 used. Because of your trust rating I would be willing to send you the Camera directly and avoid an escrow.
No sorry. You would need either a stable altcoin or a graded physical, funded, unredeemed coin to offer for collateral.

Alright thanks anyway :/

Looking for a .4 btc loan with my JVC Everio GZ-MS230AU as collateral if needed. They are worth around $130-$165 used.(Not to be confused with the $27-$50 knock off titivvu or whatever its called)

I will repay the issuer of the loan .56 btc in two months time (20% interest per month) if we have to use the collateral.

I will repay the issuer of the loan .6 btc in two months time (25% interest per month) if we don't need it.

It will be easier for you if you mention your location. The lender or an escrow needs to be at a distance to which shipping charges wont be too much.

people dont really like giving that kind of information out though; giving out the continent you live on wouldnt hurt though, and then trying to fine escrowers on the same continent who might be willing to hold physical collateral. its a long shot though.

Yeah maybe. Idk if I had any kind of digital collateral I would use it, unfourtantly all I have thats worth anything is a few domain names and they aren't really valid collateral. The camera however is.

If you are in United States, you can mention that, it will not affect your privacy and you may find a lender or escrow within cheap shipping distance. It will be difficult if you are in, say, Thailand, and not mention that before as worldwide shipping is not an option.

I am in the USA if that helps at all.

Things like HBN, CAP, TEK.

So the dude sells you 3 ultra-high stake coins... none of which are "new" or suitable for n00bs.

This is a highly specialized sector...
An inexperienced trader will usually (a) buy high or (b) stake poorly... and lose.

Because every ultra-high stake coin has a different staking algo...
And you will probably have to wade through pages of threads to divine correct information.

They all look medium expensive now.

So what would you suggest? Honestly I don't think spend about $100 btc on some coins that cost a couple satoshi is a terrible idea really. I mean if it doesn't go well i lose $100, but if things go great then I might be internet rich.

Want to sell my domain luckydice777.com

Obviously this is a pretty good name for a dice site, and if I had a clue how to set one up I would do it. I'm looking for around $7 for it.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm looking for new Altcoins to get involved with. on: July 11, 2015, 02:55:46 AM
This is tough. You are looking to buy cheap - if we had the answer we would all be buying and it would no longer be cheap.
My advice - go to each exchange and spend a couple hours looking for low Sat coins with slowly rising volume. Then, select
a few to spread your risk and then, a little prayer may help. Best advice pick a long term coin with lots of support and
a developer that has been around. Buy what you can afford on dips. Things like HBN, CAP, TEK.

I've only been here a few months and have seen tons of coins die in days to weeks. A week seems like 3 years in the stock market.
Best to stay with logn term coins unless you have money to burn.

Thanks for the advice! Think I'm going to try to buy 1000 each or so of a bunch of super super cheap alt coins and just hope it goes the way of btc.  Grin

So I'm looking for new alt coins to get involved with. Preferably coins that are worth basically nothing and are just starting out. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love it if you could post them here!  Grin
