can someone assist in what is the best practice for backing up Mist Wallet? I personally have been using it for the last week and love it. I transfer purchases of Eth from poloniex to my Mist wallet everyday, i'd hate to lose my eths if my PC were to crash. thanks all! I too am running version 0.3.7
to enable the wallet and let it sync, then create a wallet and give a long password and write it somewhere in folder Users\AppData\Roaming\Etherium\keystore the location of the wallet file with the address, the need to carry (can be a couple of copies to be insured) and store after work ( leaving the wallet file outside of work on a laptop ) on a flash drive and to carefully record and not lose a long password from the wallet and store it in a safe place guarantee that nothing will happen during operation or wallet that coins will be lost, no one makes you use those or any other beta versions at your own risk, otherwise how are you going to do to you! |

just had a small idea: what if bitcoin shops had this feature: buy this item if its cheaper than XBTC?
this would include BTC/USD conversation and product price changes.
the customer could deposit the money (and maybe withdraw it in case that after some time when his target isnt reached he doesnt want it anymore)
IMHO this should enable shops to plan better which should lead to cheaper prices (well at least for big shops. not sure if there are any atm)
