1101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonald's accepting Bitcoins (not really) on: January 26, 2015, 12:24:41 PM
i will not discuss if i like mcdonalds or not ( well i dont like mcdonalds Tongue ) but if someday mcdonalds accept our BTC then for sure this will be a great news for all of us, will be another big step that must be done.

2014 was the worst year for McDonald's since their inception, 15% loss in sales.

So it looks good they're gonna accept Bitcoin soon like all of those endangered dinosaurs (Overstock, Dell, Microsoft), as some sharp tongues keep scoffing.

agree with you Wink
1102  Other / Meta / Re: And we are Back!! on: January 23, 2015, 02:35:03 PM

Whoever is dumping every morning...just sell all your MMXIV already. Nobody wants to play with your pennies
If they are indeed "dumping" then you should have no problem picking them up!

dunno about whats happend but this morning when i check polo my eyes turn  Shocked

btw even if the price go up like hell i will keep my mmxiv and stake it like always Wink
1104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. kills 50 prisoners of ISIS in air strike on: January 21, 2015, 06:29:09 PM
ofc this is really good news.

i will never understand those groups like ISIS, that God forgive you...

there is lot of collateral damage always, sometimes is needed, the question is, why we think we are able to decide when is needed and when is not?

If you believe collateral damage is "always, sometimes needed" there is something seriously wrong with your ethics.

i think you misunderstood me, i was not trying to going in that way...

sometimes is needed
not about that dimensions...

i hope you undersatnd me now, sometimes is just a language barrier, my fault ofc.

1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Estonia obsessed with BTC? on: January 21, 2015, 05:52:30 PM
Because of cointellect ponzi which is located in Estonia...

if this is true then maybe is the solution for the enigma Tongue

in the other hand maybe this is just a coincidence and some new companys opening their business there, in any case seems interesting, lets see if in the next months things go in the same way...

1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.0 Automated Transactions on: January 20, 2015, 11:52:59 AM
  • setting "nxt.enableDebugAPI=true"
  • go to http://127.0.0.1:8125/test?requestTag=DEBUG and click clearUnconfirmedTransactions
  • deleted the burst_db folder and resync
  • w8 24h at least
  • check it again, if is not 100% empty about unconfirmed transactions, do it again.

pd: dont try to set another reward assignments before the 100% unconfirmed transactions are cleared.

Same problem here

I have tried to switch away from urays SG pool for ~2 weeks now, still 0 confirmations.. I have waited everything from a few hours to several days before trying again.

Any solutions to this or should we all just keep trying and hope it eventually works?

did you follow all those steps?, the first time i did it i was thinking that this will not work, because again and again i had lot of unconfirmed transactions, try to follow all those steps and w8 at least 24h before try again the clearUnconfirmedTransactions step if you still have some unconfirmed transactions.

Burst 1.2.1

sha256: feda672f8bc5eabb31e56ebf78dc26d43a3422d24de22de277e59fc72a20fd19

All users should update as soon as possible.

Fixed some AT bugs which could cause the blockchain to get stuck. Also changed a check during block generation which was causing some things to get skipped as duplicates when the thing they conflicted with wasn't passing validation. This should help with the problems some users have been having with reward assignments recently.

great news, im downloading it right now!

1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.0 Automated Transactions on: January 19, 2015, 11:20:07 PM
Hi, I have unconfirmed transaction even after many blocks on set reward assignments. Please check the image attached. I have deleted the burst_db folder and resync, and also setting "nxt.enableDebugAPI=true", restart the client, go to http://127.0.0.1:8125/test?requestTag=DEBUG and click clearUnconfirmedTransactions. But 2 methods with no clue. Any solution? Thanks!

Any help? I cannot set reward assignments with the unconfirmed transaction stucked.  Sad

same happend to me some days agoo, if you already did it just w8 24h or so and check it again, should be more "empty" or 100% empty, if this is not empty 100% do it again and w8 another 24h.

As i say i got the same issue some days agoo and for me it works, take some time yes, but finally it works.

good luck and tell us i for you it works Wink

to made things more clear what i did was:

  • setting "nxt.enableDebugAPI=true"
  • go to http://127.0.0.1:8125/test?requestTag=DEBUG and click clearUnconfirmedTransactions
  • deleted the burst_db folder and resync
  • w8 24h at least
  • check it again, if is not 100% empty about unconfirmed transactions, do it again.

pd: dont try to set another reward assignments before the 100% unconfirmed transactions are cleared.

Noooooo i dont like to use social Tongue but i will just for you guys.

Also, I want to point out that we're working with many other things but Twitter, like contacting businesses, writing articles, starting a blog, et c. But we need the communities support to succeed. That's why we try these competitions Wink

1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.0 Automated Transactions on: January 19, 2015, 11:27:40 AM
Guys i really think that burst is the best alt coin ATM, i was thinking about why there is not so much ppl trying to mining it, i mean compare with his potencial.

Maybe is because we are not doing a great SEO with our coin, so lets help to ourselft and try to promote burst in any way!!

We have some good points:

  • cheap than asic
  • fair about hdd manufactures, i mean there will not be a better hdd to use in next two months like asicss world
  • cheap about power consume
  • easy to buy hdd hw arround the world, not like all those asic scams

etc etc, cmon guys, All help are welcome!!!.
1111  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The difficulty HAS BEEN REDUCED!!!! on: January 19, 2015, 11:21:18 AM
Holy shit - I didn't think we'd see that, the difficulty has been REDUCED!!!  Mining fun is returning!

not a big difference, btw i didnt know when was the last time that it happend.

Maybe this is because "small" minners turn off after discover mining BTC is not profitable anymore Tongue but who know, maybe is just like an anecdote, nothing more.
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Bitcoin Box' Can Process Payments With No Web Connection on: January 19, 2015, 11:15:37 AM
if this is true this is are great news for us, maybe people dont want to use bluetooth and i understand it, using it is a risk for our security, but dont forget that this is still in develop/prototype so who know what will happend with the final product Wink

Btw It is a thing that bitcoin users care a lot, so i hope they improved it a lot before they release it.
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perfect Money payment processor adds Bitcoin accounts on: January 19, 2015, 11:09:00 AM
thats a really good news, i didnt heard them before but everything like this is a good step for the BTC world.

Btw from what im reading and seeing they are pretty good.

Quote
Apart from that, customers will get the possibility to add funds to their Bitcoin-accounts and use other services at the company’s special exchangers all around the world.

not bad Wink
1114  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online Bitcoin wallet ? on: January 18, 2015, 05:45:52 PM
if i would go to use an online wallet i will choose blockchain, intuitive and easy to use, greenAddress.it is not a bad chooise too.

About coinbase i never try to so i cant tell you how it is.

Btw you should not store large amounts in any wallet, specially online wallets, spread them into some other wallets and reduce the risk.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QIBUCK COIN - X13 - POS/POBH - 1st Proof of Baghold on: January 17, 2015, 11:42:46 AM
i dont know what is going on with this coin and his exchanges but the irc channel seems pretty dead ATM, also no tipbot anymore.

Should i close the irc channel? Tongue

Btw about the explorer i hope you bring us back it soon, we really need it.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi Nakamoto Remains Anonymous on: January 17, 2015, 11:34:50 AM
i think is obvious why he remains anonymous, , just think about it, you would like to be known if you were him? ofc no.

He did very well from my point of view, he bring us a really good idea and leave us to enjoy it, beleive me, to be satoshi is a big risk.

If everything goes well, we will see the real impact of cryptocurrencies soon, very very soon, and we will see how the finance world will  start to care ( more than now ) about this and after that just ask to yourselft if you would like to be known if you were him...
1117  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC AT $178 - $145 under $100 ? on: January 14, 2015, 11:06:07 AM
If the price go down to $100 there will be non excuse to buy Tongue so i hope so....

What are you guys basing the prices on? Just pure guesswork, or something more substantial?
The price is being manipulated - that's for certain, IMO. I just saw the price shifting from $168.5 to $190 in about six minutes.

Some speculate that new giant mining farms in China and Mongolia are just dumping coins as soon as they're confirmed. The timing of the dumps supports this theory, considering the absence of buying support from North America (night to midnight) and Western Europe (dawn to early morning).

Others, meanwhile, believes whales are manipulating the market as part of their accumulation strategy, mainly owing to Bitcoin's inevitable mainstream commercial adoption.

be 100% sure about that, price is ALWAYS being manipulated and it will continue forever, maybe this is a good reason to think that BTC will never die Wink

while writting this message i just view a flash crash on the bitstamp/btcusd market down to $152...
1118  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: After ASIC what comes next? on: January 14, 2015, 11:02:40 AM
Dont forget new ASIC is comming out soon, so be sure and expect a highter diff in the next few months, so sad, because like now only chinnese farmers and a few other are able to mine BTC

Maybe ppl should start to think about other ways to mine, there is some good chooises on the ALT market like the burst and his POC algorithm, and im talking about poor ppl like me Tongue
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adam Guerbuez claims some very big news is coming for Bitcoin this friday on: January 14, 2015, 10:54:26 AM
i hope that what he sayd is true, btw from my point of view ppl like him should not do things like thta, i mean announce "big news", because of that ppl are so excited Tongue also maybe that news will disappoint the expectations, you know...

Maybe is a new release with a good features of the bitcoin-qt wallet?
1120  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: En chupacabras3d.com ya aceptamos Bitcoin! (Venta de IMPRESORAS 3D, etc.) on: January 12, 2015, 01:52:02 PM

chupacabras3d.com
