1181  Economy / Economics / Re: I SAW 21000 BTC SELL WALL TODAYT on: December 16, 2014, 10:18:22 PM
there is was 21k btc sell wall at 300 usd
it was eaten all of it
completely gone the sell wall non of it left. it was at 300 usd
now its is all gone and the price is higher. so it means the guy that sold it is sad. why did he sell in the first place how is he going to buy back 21k btc now . if i had 21k btc i would have treated tehm better than he did. life is not fair.
i want to mkae 21k btc and treat them bttr give me them

Maybe he have 100k btc, 21k is only merely part of the profit..

if thats the case is just awesome, btw, How do you know it was legit eaten?

This can be only a mistake, but a real huge mistake lol

1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin should you suddenly die? on: December 15, 2014, 01:11:47 PM
Most of my friends and family have no idea what bitcoin is. It is just some weird hobby I've been into for years (in their eyes). I've simply just left a note and USB in a secure location Smiley

exactly, thats happends to me too, when i talk to my family about BTC they look at me like   Huh  is not a bad idea to kep all info into one pendrive or something like that, so in the end, "someone" can check it and use it.

Maybe the best idea is to give all your info to one REAL friend who is already into the bicoin world, you know, there is always someone near you who know about it too, but there is a high risk you must trust on him ofc Smiley

A notary i think is not needed, there is lot of "light" ways to solved it, multisig is not a bad idea too.
1185  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin vs Belief Systems on: December 14, 2014, 04:51:18 PM
I think Bitcoin is like Deism.

Agree, i really think that everyone into the world of BTC just "want to beleive" on it, well, nobody know what will happend, so everybody just sit down and think that everything will go well with bitcoin.

this is like deism? i dont know, but is closed to it for sure Wink

The creator has not left us to fend for ourselves.
He will reveal himself when the time is right.

My own opinion is that he is doing well, maybe, just maybe is better to stay like now, anonymous.

Our Satoshi, who art in blockchain,
Encrypted be thy name
Thy transactions come
Thy will be done on ASICS
As it is on Github.
Give us this day our daily mining reward,
And forgive our zero-conf double-spends
As we forgive them that double-spend against us.
And lead us not into alt-chains
But deliver us from Ripple
For thine is the mining rig,
The hashing power, and the block reward,
For ever and ever
Amen.

jajaja no comments, you just made me laught with this Smiley

1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition to steam to add bitcoins and altcoins as a payment method. on: December 13, 2014, 12:42:14 PM

Awesome this idea will be great if they finally do it!

Why would you want them to add altcoins as well?

Bitcoin is the safest and best option for any service, site or merchants.

Agree BTC is the best option, but why not add alts too? give you more changes to pay yes? so why not? Wink
1190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 12, 2014, 01:35:34 PM
Is sad  whats happend with pbmining, im a customer of pbmining too and i remember when i defend them because they pay me every week... Now, i must say that i was wrong, they are a scammers/ponzi and all those ppl who try to advert us in his main thread was right.

Is sad what i read from pbmining, everything looks for me like an excuse, and in the end, thats exactly what is it, your business was a ponzi/scam and this is why you closed it, is not because someone discover and made public who you are, no no, is not because of that.

i will not beleive you or what you write anymore, now you sayd that you will try to give us back some BTC, should we beleive in you after whats happend to your company? why?

I fell shame because i was in your signature campaign, you pay us yes, but if I had known what I know now I would not have done.

I wish i m wrong, but dont expect that some of your BTC come back guys.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone interested in a NEW Dogecoin Faucet? on: December 11, 2014, 03:32:40 PM

Tongue also, im tired of those faucets who want you to comeback after 1 hour for just 0,2 doge ( more or less you know ), im not saying you should give to everybody who visit your wdoge coin faucet 23423 doged every hour, but please just put a decent ammount...

so yes as. im interested!! Smiley
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to do with my old Antminers on: December 11, 2014, 03:23:20 PM
Hi,

I have about 48 USB antminer s2's with a 49 powered switch and a raspberry running minepeon. Obviously there is no use in mining Bitcoins with it for a while now.

Apart from selling the hardware, any advice what to mine with them to yield at least some coins (I don't expect profits just not 0.0000000001 a day)

Thanks for taking the time to reply

[Mod note: removed "Posted using..." signature]
It is almost christmas, they will do a nice decoration on your christmas tree

jajaj you made me laught Tongue

You should just sell them locally or on eBay. People over pay for these because they want to get into the hobby of mining.

well only if you have lucky you will sell it, you know everything related to buy minning hardware goes in that way, i mean you just wake up one day and check that your mining hardware is just a jalopy in your room.

This is sad, but you know there is no a good end for it, as @adaseb sayd, you can try to sell it, "maybe" there is someone who want to wasted his money for "nothing", just for the fun... who know? Smiley
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New version 1.1.5 on: December 11, 2014, 03:05:49 PM
I notice that even with blagos miner or pocminner_poolv1 ( im minning at devs v2 pool )  when the hdd stop reading the plots the hdd stop running and then i hear a clicking sound, this happend everytime in every blocks.

Is this ok? this will not shorten the life of the hard disk, should not be better to keep the hdd running and dont stop after reading the plot on every blocks?

Dunno if im asking like a noob but that sound "scared" me, i hope you guys tell me if all is ok or not Wink

It is much better for the hdd to keep it running than to let it spin up and down that often. Check power saving options and see if you can just keep it spinning, or if that doesn't work, look around for a script to make small writes or reads frequently to keep it from spinning down.

Ty for your reply burstcoin, i really apreciate it, i was a little bit "scared" about that question.

Well is not about that the hdd power stop after some period of time, is about that the "heads" stop and "parked" and this cause that clicking sound, dont know if you understand me., so what i do as you sayd, is to made a simply batch scrypt who write something in an txt file every 30 seconds, voilah! problem solved.

Again ty so much!!

1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mozilla removed BTC from Donation Form on: December 10, 2014, 03:54:12 PM
i dont know what to think, that sounds really strange.

btw was always $ pricing and i dont know why, i think devs would not like this decision maybe we will see some news soon because of that Wink

They sure did a good job of making the Bitcoin donation link as inconspicuous as possible.

jeje, good point, they was thinking about it since the beginning, yes?

i was thinking mozilla was more cool than others, but....
1196  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cops immediately shot a 12 year old holding a toy gun without warning. on: December 09, 2014, 10:55:16 PM
the question is, why in some countrys people feel that they need to buy guns at legal or black markets as you wish...

I really think that they have in mid that there will be always enemys arround, so they need to protect themselft from an non-real enemy, they are his own enemys.... dont know if you understand what i want to say...

All cops are completely incompetent. You actually have to fail a basic knowledge tests to be cop. They want to make sure you wouldn't be useful somewhere else in society... like the next Einstein or Tesla.

Not all cmon, you cant generalize, but i agree with you, most of them are...

Is really sad that those things happends, but what made me fell really sad is to know that this will never change... and this will never change because there will be people that want that it never change....
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't create any coin if I can not make a lot of money. on: December 08, 2014, 01:36:31 PM
people should stop creating new coins together unless if they have something new to add

Thats the problem, there is lot of scammers in last months, thats why we have lot of new "alt" coins, they dont want to contribute with new features or improvement, they just want to "try" to made money with it, and there is no way to stop it, your common sense is your best friend Wink

First come first served rule is working in cryptomarket very well. As we can see BTC is in the first and leading positions in cryptomarket everywhere. Your chances to make new and very popular crypto coin similar to BTC are very limited.  Wink

agree with you, also i will go more far away, there will never be nothing like BTC Wink in the other side, there will be lot of alt coins who will increased his demand.
1198  Economy / Economics / Re: USA is now number 2 on: December 08, 2014, 01:20:45 PM
The question is, for how long time? Tongue

I just think this is something puntual, nothing more...

no surprise at all. chinese economy has more room for growth.

haha this is it! Smiley and this cant be stopped!!
1199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Was Satoshi Really Arrested? Is This Real? Fake News Report? on: December 08, 2014, 01:11:56 PM
omg 100% fake cmon.

IF that's true, the news should be everywhere

exactly.

Beleive me guys, if now, at 2014 we didnt know who is satoshi, we will never know it and i like it, is the way that it must be, is sad but true.

I just hope that satoshi/s Tongue have a nice life whatever he/they are.

i have a nob question that im already search for an answer and cant find a clear one, the stagger size, is there any recommended table or something like that? i mean:

if you have 4gb men use xx
if you have 8gb mem use xxx

or something like that? also i have another one question, did the stagger size affect to the load time of blocks? is much better a faster load time of blocks or this does not affect?
