ok, so the issue with the extreme staking time is a known bug? Is this a visual bug? or will it effect the actual stake time of the blocks??

This may have been discussed some where and I missed it in my search, but what math goes into the process of staking?? (Whats the formula) There is the difficulty, the size of the block to stake, the size of the entire wallet has to factor in as well. there is also the factor of staking starts on the 9th day and ends on the 30th day with a max stake of 1k. essentially I am trying to figure out whats the ideal size of block, so far, 3k has worked well, but it has been taking 14-17 days to stake and is always maxxed out at 1k, but today my 3k blocks jumped to 36 days which seems really long (past the max stake date) which I assume is caused by an increase in diff?? Input would be great.. Whats everyones secret?? |

Web Wallet We are considering creating a web wallet for HyperStake (like blockchain.info or coinbase). Why (in no particular order)? - as always with HyperStake, experimenting!
- first-mover/innovation (and probably at least short-term price rise, even though volume matters more than price). There is no PoS webwallet in existence.
- wider adoption. The demand for cloud services providing a seamless experience (no risk of HDD crash, no requirements for 24/7 stacking on computer or Raspi, no setup...) would encourage people to have HYP.
- also, but not sure, the code could be reused for the HTML5 wallet that would come later (and could make Android staking wallet easier).
- finally, it would integrate nicely with HyperPool. It would really be cloud and green mining!
Things to take into consideration: - high security.
- high availability (hence, scalability).
- long-term funding.
- webwallets are by design less secure than cold storage of your own wallet (but less prone to PEBKAC, too).
- webwallets are less decentralised.
- the webwallet might not stake, especially at the beginning.

That is a good thing, HYP was in a lul last month, with the multipool, the buy pressure should cause the price to swing up, and if the buy pressure stay it should stay elevated as well. it's a win/win

The purpose of the multipool is not to just make money from the direct mining, (You won't be able to atm) but there are other things that are going to be effected, there will be buy pressure which is good for everyone. we need the value of each HYP to go up and stay up. you need to look at the future, not just what can be sold/dumped immediately..
of the 12TH, I can account for 9.5 of it. there is no loss in the longterm.
