x3, you up to building a Mac wallet??
Max, Here is the link to the most up to date source for TEK, please can someone recompile the Mac Wallet to eleviate some of the stress of what has been going on over in the TEK world. https://github.com/maxxine/TEKThanks!! We all appreciate your help.
Has anyone updated the wallets yet? Or is it just the source??
Sweet!! Great Job guys!! Is anyone 100% synced up??
Ok, just to verify, the New source has been pushed to the default source location on page 1???
OK, So Defaced I am with you. Lets do what you said. I will make the decision....
ok, so If I understand what you are saying is this;
if we backup to your blockchain from yesterday, use the "latest" source you are working on right now to rebuild our wallets, orphan what blocks were mined between now and then we will have both PoW and PoS working correctly. YES??
I say we jump back to defaced's blockchain and orphan those who don't pay enough attention to update. (Yes I know this may suck for some, but it is what it is) I am losing as well as many, and I will recoup. lets do this..
really not overly concerned about losing a days mining, just want to be back on track and mining again without hopefully many future issues I say we start over from yesterday, before the losse compile even more. Rip the bandaid off
OK, so what is the concensus here?? Do we stay where we are at? update or roll back before the last fork??
hey you two, I appreciate your hard work, and just hope as do all of us that everything gets resolved amicably...
will someone also please post a Mac OS X version of the wallet too when they post the new windows version.
Thanks!!
That is supposed to be the most recent version
do the devs have a DNS translation or some way to contact the bad nodes to tell them to shutdown and upgrade??
I am guessing that ver. 60006 is the Bad block chain version?? I am receiving nodes from somewhere (guessing DNS) with subversion 1.1.0, 1.2.0 and 1.9.1... Where did 1.9.1 come from??
If someone knows how to contact the nodes, I can post some of the IP's here or help out if needed
So where we at with this, we need to rebuild the wallet or will just using the correct nodes.
Ofeefee I figured it out, sorry for the waste of time, don't know why the add node is missing from the RPC call list.. but regardless, there was a hidden character in the conf file for some reason.. all works now (except for the other issues). Thanks for your help!!
Next question, if a TEK pool has updated their wallet, is it safe to mine there? or shoo;d we hold off regardless?

here are RPC calls available from the help menu

addnode is missing
If I make a tekcoin.conf file it immediately crashes the wallet when I run the wallet. doesn't even report to the debug log.
I Stopped the wallet, deleted the peers.dat and restarted and this is the error I get when I try to add node
Method not found (code -32601)
Ideas??
what app do you use to edit the peers.dat file??
