Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after, the said coin drops in value, or someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
As of today, if you're specifically referring to Bitcoin, I'll say that it should buy buy and buy again, provided that you have the funds to do so, it's price as of today is $61k plus, it has been hovering between $58k and $64k, and if compering to the $150k that most people are speculating to be the peak price in bull run, then today is still a good time to keep buying. Investors that have come this far to start selling doesn't make Bitcoin sense, except they're inexperienced about how Bitcoin seasons works. DCA remains the best method to stay focused on hodling. That's just it bro, yesterday opportunity might have been missed, but today is another opportunity to buy Bitcoin, I believe that we are still one of the early adopters, so buying more Bitcoin now is a big win for us on the longer run, and we just have to know this about Bitcoin, we can not be successful if we are not a long term investor, if as a person you are only thinking between now and the end of this year, then you are a trader too me, because you buy and once it appreciate in value a little bit, you sell, and to build a generational wealth, you don't do it that way, you need to have accumulated a very good stash of Bitcoin through the DCA accumulating strategy, while holding strong for like 5 - 10 year, if you can do that, you will always be grateful too yourself for making the right decision. So in essence is that, if you have still not buy Bitcoin or still lacking behind in your accumulating journey, it will be best for you to keep pushing in the right direction, which is buying more and more Bitcoin , so that you won't miss out in the quest to build a generational wealth. |

I know say many newbies like me are unaware of this and I hope this post enlighten you on this, so you don't repeat my mistake in future.

I don't know if I'm the only one that have noticed this dull movement in the market price since the halving, I'm just saying from what I've observed. If it was last 2-3 months we would have been seeing a different figure like a new one not a repeated amount like we have seen $62k so many times, now we have Bitcoin price at $63k currently, why is the price not trying to go forward instead it's between $60-63k? If it continues like this I feel we won't even see Bitcoin price at $67k-$69k, it seems this month isn't going to be productive maybe from the last week of this very month that's when we'll be getting close to $70k.

While I say greed is that most people overhead people talks about how people became rich from bitcoin investment they never did a proper research to know exactly how it is, to know that it is only the Long term HODLers that make it in bitcoin investment, out of much excitement thinking that they have found the shortest court to wealth, they didn bother to have an insight into bitcoin Investment and what it entails, they used out of greed and put all their money in bitcoin. After waiting for some time the results they got was different from what they heard, that is why most people invest what they can't afford and sell off quickly at lost. For the $100k speculation, that was exactly what drage most of them to invest. To me I don't really think it's greed, what I think is that, most of this low class people are actually struggling to survive, they can barely feed three square meal a day, and when in such a terrible situation, the thing that mostly comes into your mind is where the next meal is going to come from, am saying this because I have been in that kind of space at a point in my life, during that time it will be extremely difficult to think of anything else aside how you are going to have your next meal, so I don't actually think it's greed. Lastly, due to how inflation have taken over every price of goods and services in the state, it's very difficult to squeeze out something that will be used to DCA into Bitcoin, but if they manage to do it, by starving themselves from most things, it wouldn't be unsustainable on the longer run, because at some point they would have to temper with their few holding when encountering some financial difficulties, since they don't have that leverage of having an emergency fund. |

I've a friend of mine who always complain that ever since he started gambling he haven't won a good amount, instead he'll be winning less money than what he expected but he can't stop. Market rigging at its bests, like good old times in traditional markets. This does works and the target can be completely clueless on what’s been done. That’s why auctions could be a madman’s den at times. Insane prices could go for just any piece from a famous dead guy who wasn’t very good in art or have an item featured in a famous battle or been to certain places. Then the collectioneur at heart... just collecting things they really appreciate and by buying giving things a value... Could be discussed, but by bidding and buying they set a standard for certain objects ... This also makes other pieces more valuable. Some people collecting stuff really appreciate it and they are happy with owning it and owning piece of that history. It's charming some people just are so interested that they wanna hold such specific things...

You wonder why they don’t keep ot for themselves or have it as a national treasure, which goes for some antiques and the nation of origin. Chelsea is not a team to depend on this season especially when it comes to consistency of the game. They can just be in great form now and in their next match they’ll just disgrace you and lose woefully to their opponent. Chelsea performance is quite impressive and one that shows a great prospects in the premier league. They’ve some few matches left for them and some outstanding in order to level up with other teams in the premier league before the end of the season. I don’t know what miracle they can perform to make them finish in the top four this season but with all indications, they can’t make it there again at this stage. If there are teams that are ahead of them that will lose some significant points in all of their matches left, then Chelsea can secure a spot there but for now, they can’t do any magic to get there.
I can't even believe that Chelsea will be where they are now on the table with their disappointing form that even the coach can't predict when they're going to perform better. I know the fans just want some magic to happen this season but this is the end of the magic for Chelsea, if is to get to the top 4 I don't think it will happen with Newcastle who are trying to struggle their way through to the top 4 as well, I don't feel it would be that easy for the Blues. Before the end of the season they still have one more game to lose, if I'm a fan I won't hope on them to display a better performance or I won't say they're on track like Pochettino said that the project is progressing, I don't buy that, is like he sees a better Chelsea when they win but if they lose Pochettino will say trust the process, this man should man up and face his fears. That is one of the major problem they are facing at the club, the manager is just too incompetent to handle a team like Chelsea, and they would have been in a better position on the league table if they were actually winning most of this smaller teams they lose and drew with, especially the match against shelfied united and against Burnley, if they had won those two matches they drew, by now they would have had at least four more points which would have taken them above Newcastle united and and just two points behind Tottenham, so their inconsistency has really cost them this season no doubt. And another thing that really needs to be addressed at the end of the season is the managerial position, because I really don't think Mauricio pochettino can build anything good here, considering the fact that he is just an average coach and I really do think the Chelsea job is bigger than him due to expectations, I strongly believe that Chelsea would have been in a better position if they had a better manager in charge of the team, so a change is really needed if Chelsea wants to progress and be better next season. |

I think apart from the items that we often use in everyday life, only Bitcoin is more worthy of attention and continuous purchase and this can be done by people who don't like keeping cash in their own wallets. DYOR is necessary because it will lead everyone to think independently about what they want to buy. But in the end there are always many people who are willing to admit Bitcoin as the best to buy even though they have previously spent more time doing research on anything in order to find something more worthy. It's actually true that Bitcoin is one of the most sorted after asset in the world right now, and we are a big fan of it no doubt, but that shouldn't blind our eyes to be wasting our money, by buying something like this that is a total waste, though I haven't gotten up to that level were I will even think of spending on these kind of things, but I would rather invest in something more better, which is real estate, than spending a crazy amount of money on a stupid thing, just to message my ego. I totally agree that saving money during inflation is very hard. By the way it is good to invest but first you need to make sure you have enough money for living expenses. You should have solid budget in place before investing and also save some extra money so you do not have to sell your investments when prices are low. Changing your investment plans because you do not have enough money can be annoying and costly. So I think it is good idea to build a portfolio and also save some extra money it's a smart way to invest.
There is no more enough money for living expenses this days as inflation keeps biting deeper every now and then making money you thought was going to be enough today turning not to be enough the next day and the day after... all thanks to the bastard called inflation. What I think is, whether of a lower or higher class investor, people should best concentrate on creating an investment portfolio that is within their financial ability and try not to stress it beyond their budget. And very importantly, savings is one thing that can't be overemphasized, having savings aside that should serve as emergency funds is one good practice to achieving a successful investment plan because you will have no reason that would condition you to change your investment plan. Their is a saying in my locality that the money you save today will will save you tomorrow, but to me, savings in this our current economic situation can't achieve it full potential that it was intended to due to inflation, but the best advice I can give to anyone that have any intention of saving money is that, instead of saving fiat while inflation ravaged it, it's best you save your money in anything that appreciate in value overtime, something like Bitcoin, gold and land. And lastly, most people find it difficult to save money this days due to hardship, because it's only person that have first of all eaten that will even think of saving, but in essence, if in this difficult economy, you try to squeeze out something, try to hold that money in anything that appreciate in value overtime, so you wouldn't be in a loss, when you finally decided to use it. |
