61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What Will Bitcoin Price be at the End of Year 2017? on: February 27, 2017, 07:47:04 PM
If you have any proof to support your answer, please post it. Thank you for your participation. God bless Smiley

It will be 2000 because it has no sense to be 1000 again in the end of 2017. This would damage badly the bitcoin reputation as this would be a year which gave nothing to bitcoin in price increase. Some people would lose faith in it. I have no proof to support my idea only this logical answer.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: February 27, 2017, 07:39:45 PM
After a long bull running it always happens a correction of price after this run. It is history proven and bitcoin is no different to this trend. The price is near 1200 dollars right now but I think the bull running will have a correction soon and price will be again in the three digits area.
63  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android vs Window phones ....... on: February 27, 2017, 07:17:49 PM
I like Windows phones too but Android is better at the moment. A big massive announcement from Nokia though during these days claiming to bring back the beast 3310 an upgraded version of it together with a Windows and a Android phone. Nokia is looking for a comeback and maybe they can make Windows phones looking good again.
64  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: February 27, 2017, 07:06:45 PM
I think to myself why people pay FIAT or Bitcoin to pay to watch porn videos. They are freely accessible everywhere. I use a Vpn in order to download porn from torrents as law for torrents here in the US is becoming strong. If you are from other countries you can download through piratebay any video you like. Even the most premium content is up for grab there freely.
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your favorite alcohol? on: February 27, 2017, 08:27:30 AM
I never drink alone. When I am with my girlfriend I like to get her drunk but I mean drunk. When in this state she makes things she never makes when she is sober. I use gin tonic as my favorite type of alcohol to make her drunk in a very short amount of time.
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: network on: February 27, 2017, 07:08:38 AM
Some are connected through PAN which is Personal Area Network. For example if I am in the office and my 2 friends are in another office and we want to share data with each other we create a PAN through our mobiles. There is also MAN which is Metropolitan Area Network for example all New York and Chicago is extended through these 2 cities.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't want a $2,000 bitcoin by February on: February 26, 2017, 12:40:40 PM
February is almost over and the price is just down the 1200 dollars mark. It is impossible judging by the trend of the price in February that the price of bitcoin will reach 2000 dollars within February. I doubt it will even in March.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: We all gonna be filthy rich and here is why: on: February 25, 2017, 02:08:39 PM
So having a long breathe and being patient may really extremely pay off in for instance 10 years?!

If you have the money to invest, a long-term plan for owning Bitcoin is probably a good investment.
Even owning 1 Bitcoin would be a good idea for any investor.

Owning 1 Bitcoin a year sounds like possible for most of the forum members. They eat, sleep and think about bitcoin. I think in a pure 35.000 dollars price for 1 bitcoin in the year 2025 and this is pure speculation. Now imagine if I am right owning 8 bitcoins until then will make you 280.000 dollars. That is a big amount of money even here in the USA , imagine in other countries. I agree soon we will be filthy rich if we stick to the plan of holding.
69  Other / Off-topic / Re: About how much is a wire transfer? on: February 25, 2017, 12:29:10 PM
It's different for different amount of money that you want to transfer. Here where I am it's a minimum of 10 dollars fee for any transfer you make up to 10.000 dollars. Bank of America for example offers to lower the fees if you do a lot of transactions through them up to a point where you don't pay any fee if you meet certain conditions.
70  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Bill Gates or Zuckerberg buy Bitcoin on: February 25, 2017, 11:37:20 AM
If they want they can buy all the Bitcoins they want. Their capital allows them to do this thing. Bill Gates is an old man now so I am excluding it from the interest in Bitcoin while Mark Zuckenberg is relatively young and he may have future interest in bitcoin.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is BTC's maximum target price/ceiling? on: February 25, 2017, 09:11:18 AM
I am hoping for a 35.000 dollars for a bitcoin within 2025. I am keeping the coins until then. Rich status can be reached by then if I hold more than 10 coins. This is like  a double edged sword and I may end up receiving nothing if the bitcoin value falls to near 0.
72  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has anyone else heard of "Premimum Friday"? In Japan only ;( on: February 25, 2017, 08:36:26 AM
Just heard about how Japan has started this tradition now on Fridays.
Where they have sort of like a party atmosphere @ work!
It sounds like a way to keep the workplace lax and to build up employee morale instead of having it serious all the time.
There are a lot of people complaining and taking sick days so that's why they started these Premium Fridays to boost up employee morale.
I think some are allowed to drink a beer or two at work.
Now that is where I would like to work for a company in Japan that support these sort of days instead of just casual Fridays where we are allowed to wear jeans at work. Undecided

My workplace is full of serious people. Everyone hates everyone like is the cases in most companies here in the USA, everyone is envious of everyone so I would love to work in Japan for such companies. Making a party at Friday at work is a great morale boost for the employees of the company as they are having the party and after that they have 2 days of vacation.
73  Other / Off-topic / Re: This truly the end of civilization as we know it in 2017 as prophesied? on: February 25, 2017, 06:54:01 AM
Civilization end will be only when the Apocalypse will be here just as the Bible says. Some of it's signs are already here one of them being massive immorality and people don't caring about each other at all. I don't believe any other way to be the end of the civilization. They are just made up stories from people who have nothing better to do.
74  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you won a (usd) $2 million dollar lottery on: February 24, 2017, 02:21:10 PM
I am also against donating to the church. Since the pope has said he likes to live a simple life why the ceilings of the Vatican are from pure gold ? I would donate half of it if I win the lottery to scientific research that is researching cures to deadly diseases. This is the best donation everyone can do , after this comes donation to charity and homeless and very poor people.
75  Other / Off-topic / Re: Youtube to MP3 is now possible ! on: February 24, 2017, 01:29:02 PM
I thought this was an old thread, so I opened it to check what date this was created LOL

I've been doing this through youtube-mp3.org.

But thanks for this one, might come in handy next time

I also use youtube-mp3.org. It works better than you4play.com . I checked both of them but it depends on which method the user is more comfortable to work with. I always choose practicality over everything.
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any Legit ways to make money online? on: February 24, 2017, 08:27:52 AM
Very popular work on the Internet is active on different resources and pay for referrals, and view information.

Yes, you're right, this kind of earnings is very popular. But it is not very profitable. For viewing ads pay very little. And to gain referrals need to work very well

And to get active referrals is very difficult even if you promote your link to free websites like traffic exchanges or you pay for fixed ads in the leading industry paid to click website. You may get a lot of referrals from a fixed ad at neobux which costs 100 dollars a day but no one can guarantee they will be active. So paying ads to get referrals is gambling with luck and money.
77  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use any tool to find out website location? on: February 24, 2017, 07:39:56 AM
If you mean a tool to see where sites are hosted.

https://check-host.net/

Good website to check location of websites. I just did a test with our forum and I got these results. I think they are correct.

78  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about philosophy? on: February 24, 2017, 07:13:54 AM
I just now that was reading this article was reminded of philosophy. I don't think it's useful nowadays. The only thing I remember is a saying from some philosopher that is good until today. He said that if you want to be happy marry a good woman if you don't do so then you will become a philosopher. That is funny.
79  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: February 24, 2017, 06:48:26 AM
I have lost some money with the hashocean scam in 2016. I thought they were legit as they were paying for more than one year. When they made 1 year paying online I thought this company must be legit but it wasn't so I lost all my investment.
80  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: February 23, 2017, 02:53:57 PM
I have strong faith in Bitcoin not because I somehow profit from it but because of these following reasons:

* Anonymous:  More privacy conscious individuals will likely jump into the bitcoin world with increasing surveillance  by World governments.
* Decentralized & Internet based. Also believe it will evolve along with the Internet.
* Has little or no limitations
* If other Cryptocurrencies live, Bitcoin will definitely live.
* Finally, Cryptocurrency is part of the need of Internet users

The items you count are all right. But bitcoin is not anonymous. Your identity can be determined when you use Bitcoin. All transactions are recorded. And transfer operations from one address to another can be determined backward one by one.

If you want real anonymity, I suggest you check out Dash.

If you want anonymity in Bitcoin you can use a high quality mixer like Bitmixer, Cryptomixer, Bitblender or some others. This way even if someone tries to track you down by using the backward option and checking transaction one by one he cannot link you anymore to the related bitcoin addresses you have used.
