1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 29, 2017, 02:53:17 AM
Not sure if i've missed this in the thread but is there a walkthrough of;
a) adding a customer miner e.g. ccminer 2.2
b) adding a new algo to profit switching using said custom miner

Cheers, apologies if i've missed it.

I did exactly that.
It worked on the local miner but didn't work on ANY of the remote miners.

Did you update your awesomeminer remote service or anything?

Worst case stop miner, delete all software in the users / appdata / roaming / awesomeminer. the agent will then force download of 9.7 when you start. No update to remote agent with the mining definitions.

Interesting - I did that and it did indeed force a re-download but it redownloaded 9.6

I'm missing something... perhaps the link on the Awesome Miner website isn't to the latest version of the remote agent?

I'm using this link to re-download the agent:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/download.aspx

Check whats on your control machine (running AM) in the Local appdata, close AM, clean out the miners in there, force update when you re-open see what it grabs.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious - how do I force remote agent machines to switch to the new version of Claymore?

I updated the program.  Now Claymore 9.7 comes up in the app.
On the local machine, I stopped it mining, restarted it (set to auto download) and 9.7 came up and started mining as expected.

On all of the remote machines - they keep coming up as Claymore 9.6 (they are set to auto as well).

I tried downloading the latest remote agent from the website (which is dated 6/27 on there btw..) but no matter what the remote machines still come up with Claymore 9.6.

How do I force remote machines to re-download (switch to 9.7) with the auto software setting?

Stop the miner, right click properties, OK, start miner. Worked for me to force it to update, great Hash improvements for nvidia cards also!

Profit - Profit Profiles
Establishing custom figures should this be based on individual GPU's or the entire miner say 6x EVGA 1070 SC ~180MH/s vs a single card at 29.8MH/s ?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone can test these 6 Pcie slots Ryzen mobos? on: July 07, 2017, 11:06:55 PM
For the guys that had 6 RX cards working with the Asrock AB350 pro4, was there any BIOS settings you guys messed with? I cant get 6 to work in windows 10 but 5 works.

I did not see any settings in the BIOS (P2.6) that could effect anything with pcie.

Thanks

I actually find it easier with the stock BIOS they seem to remove an entire section of control in the 2.6.

this entire AMD PBS section which includes the PCIe control is removed in 2.6.

Loving the software so far.

However finding that anything but Claymore software crashes the rigs isntantly (CcMinder SP-Mod, EWBF, Excav).

It looks like all three try to start up too hard and cause the crash, any suggestions?

Rigs are Ryzen + 4x 1070's.
If you click the Diagnostics button in the toolbar and look at the output - does it give any indication why it's crashing? Especially the EWBF and Excavator miners typically don't require any configuration except the very basics to get going.

All good noob mistake not upping the virtual memory, fixed problem immediately.

Update from me, I have been successful with 6x RX570's in this board but I cannot get any version of nvidia drivers to allow 5 (or 6) to boot into Win10Pro.

I believe given this it is 100% a driver issue and possibly just a matter of hitting the right one to get 6 nvidia cards into Windows.

Bump, hoping someone can post back about 6 GPU's on this board. Cheers.

This was the update

Update about this weeks dividend payout:

Calculation:
1,875 LTC or 32.3 BTC in total from mining
- 12.01203053 BTC as dividend (0.00040805 BTC/share)
- 18.01804580 BTC reinvestment
- 2.26992366 BTC as hosting fee

LTC/BTC ratio is still under pressure as BTC is gaining in value. The good news is that our reinvestment funds also grow in USD value, which should have a positive effect on our purchasing power for new hardware.

I'd expect to see vote results/info in the weekly update in the next 12 hours sometime, based on their communication history.

Dear Unit Holders,

We crossed a historical milestone today! From now on we can use our name PetaMine in the true sense of the word.  We have surpassed 1 Peta Hash in hash power.  In fact, we are currently hashing at 1,156 TH/s or 15 GH/s per unit.

We have already sold +10,000 shares at this IPO. Until the closure of the IPO this Sunday, we will immediately add 15 GH/s to the PetaMine per remaining unit sold.

You can follow the hash rate of the PetaMine here: www.peta-mine.co/stats

Now let’s sell this IPO.

I may be a bit thick, but how do we actually view the 'scryptx' stats on Wemineltc?  Direct url would be preferred.  Is account registration required to view stats?

Register an account, goto Pool Stats, you'll see scryptx as the top user.

With this recent news why would anyone be selling their shares below IPO value? Unless they 'need' out obviously.
19  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Please Help Test Armory 0.91-beta! on: March 25, 2014, 07:37:29 AM
I'm having all sorts of issues trying to move coins from a hot wallet to my cold storage since moving to this release + 0.9.0 BitcoinQT.

This appears to only impact when i do a one to many transaction i.e. Sending from one source address to multiple output addresses.

Anyone else encountering the same issue?

Also which log file should i be checking for.

Just a PSA for anyone buying off Ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUAL-2-KnC-Jupiter-Bitcoin-Mining-Rigs-1-3-TH-s-IN-HAND-for-pickup-shipping-/141152805043 Is using a photoshopped pic of my rigs so i'm guessing he is a scammer. I've attempted to report to Ebay but they haven't paid any attention to it.
