1  Other / Beginners & Help / paysafecards on: July 29, 2011, 05:22:53 PM
Well I have a question. Why does almost nobody accept paysafecards? Imo it is one of the best anonym options to buy bitcoins, as it is anonym as well. Okay of course it has a slight downside seeing, that when the code is sent, the original owner could still use it and i do understand that it is hard to convert psc to money but i still think it is a really safe and fast!!!(very important issue atm imo) way of paying.

what u think?

Well there is another use (i think it was not mentioned) as bitcoin is a currency you can as with all currencys go trade only with bitcoins, making quiet a bit of money. AFter all it is kind of a stock marker, therefore you can make money like on every stock marcket.

agree with the above post silkroad clearly shows, that it is possible.
But i guess its gonna be kinda hard.
But going back to the original topic.
I defenetly agree, that the banks etc. will at some point make some kind of move, but and that is the good thing, imo they are not aware yet of the "threat" bitcoins are to them. Therefore unlike us who actually know whats comming they cannot prepare yet, we can. Therefore i think they will first target the exchange, but i do think that when the time comes, we will have our means to exchange. Well let the future decide how it works out.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long till BitCoins become outlawed? on: July 29, 2011, 04:12:06 PM
The "Problem" governments see in bitcoins is the unability to control it(and therefore tax it). The Annonimity it provides gives "shady" characters a whole new spectrum and possibilities and therefore i kind of can understand where they are comming from. BUT and that is a big BUT i see this realistic. The only thing the dont like about bitcoins is they cant get ahold of it / make money of it / are actually kinda loosing money. (Hughe deals done with btc = no tax) therefore screw the government. And i dont think that they can outlaw it because as already mentioned how can you ban online currencies like linden dollars/wow gold etc. ? and this is code they try to ban -> shouldnt be possible. Even though i do see risks in BTC i love and i think/hope that we will always be able to use it.
PS: dont dream: its not going to be a legal currency for loooooooooooooooooong, not until they can figure out how to tax it Wink

Hello bitcoin staff,

I wanted to ask, if you could white list me, as the reason i am here is because i want to trade. I will not post very often, but i would love to purchase bitcoins regularly and this forum seems to be a good place to do so. Atm I am looking for a bitcoin seller, but cannot pm anyone or answer offers, therefore i would kindly ask you to white list me.
