561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Pump group 2.0 - The profit machine on: December 04, 2014, 10:57:46 PM
Why 100 BTC ?  It seems way too many. Most coins can be pumped for 5-10 BTC so 100 seems alot. You would have to invest a large amount of the 100 to get enough profits to satisfy investors.

I have had a small stake in 2 ICO's so far and made a reasonable profit from them. Invested .8 BTC in this one, my largest investment so far, it looks promising.

8 BTC to 100.. This coin is going no higher than 60 unless someone or some group are prepared to stick some BTC into it....

8 BTC is nothing.

When a coin is struggling to get .2 a day then there are alot of bagholders out there. Who is gunna risk 8 BTC on a coin that might give them no return on that investment..

Look at Rubble... with 24 BTC they did 1000% return. Also ROS is not really a high marketcap, if they want they can make more volume then the marketcap itself.

Well there's a few guys out there shouting about it going to 200... Unless there willing to push it towards that target i will not get anywhere near 200.. I think they are just bagholders hoping to get a bit of BTC back and hoping others will pump it for them.

A pump is always something that you have to support, even when you are a big bag holder. Just thinking that other people will pump is bad, will not work, because when everybody things about that...

This coin cost as little as 9 sat at one point. 8 BTC is a massive amount of coins.. If people really think it is going to 200 then they should pull or those sells at 70 - 100 and give it a chance.. but they won't because they just want rid of their coins...

This coin does NOT need any help from the likes of REGGIE aka FORTRESS aka @AltcoinTips!! He holds huge bags at very low prices, and is the ONE who dumps on his own followers & DEVELOPERS.

SHAKE LOOSE THIS FLEA-BAG!!

So if he holds huge gags at low prices how will the coin ever recover? who will want to buy into the coin knowing he is waiting to dump at any opportunity ?
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UROD] Scrypt coin - ICO available - Launch 11/2 - 8PM CET on: November 02, 2014, 10:50:46 AM
Unsold coins will be split over the people that has invested in UROD. See first page of the thread.

Block 1 (premine : 1,000,000 UROD)

Price 4,000 SATS per coin / if not fully ICO < 4,000 SATS

I believe that total ICO amount was 21 BTC (or close to 21 BTC) so this means that people will have almost double their coins that they bought on allcoin, so price is around 2,000 sats per coin.

THIS IS GREAT NEWS...

This coin has been around for 6 months or so now, are there plans to get it listed on any better exchanges. C-Cex or Allcoin would be a least a small step in the right direction. If it does ok on there than mint, trex & polo are possible.

If block reward goes down, but the price rises, then miners will stay. I know i will. Been mining it since it was launched.

Factors:

1. Someone is holding around 20% of all coins.. That is BAD.
2. If this coin is going to be profitable to mine when you only get about 1 LTCD with 150MH/s+ then it the price will be insanely high, and impossible.
3. This can damage the coin a lot.

I am not trying to FUD, scam or what ever you call it.. I hold 40k coins and im gonna keep holding..
I am just scared that this might damage us :/

Totally agree. All depends on price. Only time will tell

579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitLitS SCRYPT START COIN 16.09.14 on: September 16, 2014, 07:54:54 PM
Scrypt was actually a good choice. Lots of scrypt ASICs out there that are more energy efficient than GPU mining, means the people mining this coin don't have to murder mother earth to make some profit.

All the GPU miners need to accept the reality that their hardware is ancient tech now. Yes, there are algos that were made to keep ASICs out. Those are people who just can't let go of yesterday. Seriously, an analogy would be the guy with the Model A Ford demanding that freeways be blocked off and no BMW's, Mini Coopers, Audi R8s, Ferraris, Lambourghinis, etc be allowed at all - because they are just too damned good and the old boy is too poor to buy something reasonably current. GPUs are for gaming and video editing. Xalgos are for destroying Earth and extending the death-throes of the GPU as a mining tool.

scrytp algo! Bravo try.
Totally disagree. Scrypt coins are at the mercy of the asic miners with the deepest pockets. They're the ones who'll control what happens to any scrypt coin. Noticed the price of LTC lately?

Now as for xalgos destroying earth? Get real. Go hug a few trees and maybe you'll fell better. Have you looked at power consumption for larger asic miners? Doubtful judging by your post.

ASIC Miners are not for people with deep pockets. I purchased my first GPU Miner, 2.2Mh/s, for £800 aprox $1300. I can now buy a 100 Mh/s ASIC for $750. ASIC miners are affordable for everyone.
