I dont really like Local Bitcoins but it seems like the best way to connect with "local" people.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you tell kids about bitcoin? on: July 25, 2015, 05:50:37 PM
Paying allowance to kids with bitcoin and helping them find ways to save and spend it.
584  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 25, 2015, 05:21:42 PM
I have more than 1 bitcoin
My target is to have 20 bitcoins at some point.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 25, 2015, 05:19:12 PM
The best thing about bitcoin in my opinion is its decentralized nature.
586  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500,000 per Bitcoin, baby. The math behind it. on: July 12, 2015, 04:12:18 PM
It's perfectly possible, respectable individuals like the Xapo founder believe it so as well:

"In a video interview with the Wall Street Journal, Mr. Casares says he’s not worried about bitcoin’s own volatility hampering its adoption – though he expects significant volatility over the next few years. He predicts that in a decade, one bitcoin will be worth somewhere between half a million dollars to one million dollars."

http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2014/04/02/bitcoin-price-to-1-million/

Of course, the dumb ass average Joes that cannot think outside the box and consider any prediction like that as insane, will never make it. They will always find excuses "Oh he's heavily invested, oh this Bitcoin thing will crash". It's what they want to believe so they don't have the risk of buying and holding, and the ones that already have coins will not be able to resist the urge to sell when we are back to 1K or so. The people that is going to make it big within the next decade are only the 1%, which is what makes such a big price possible, because there will be a massive redistribution of Bitcoins in each bubble-burst cycle.
Give it time, the main thing is to get more adoption, businesses, and people using it.
The price will take care of itself once  Bitcoin is seen as viable to the masses.
587  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1000 before christmas we have already broken the $300 in sparta on: July 12, 2015, 04:06:36 PM
It is always hard to predict bitcoin value. but no one could imagine bitcoin price went from literally valueless to $1000 in 4 years
588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: July 12, 2015, 04:03:22 PM
Nobody can give you an answer to this as it's all speculation, but I think it's likely to go above and beyond 1k eventually. It all depends on adoption so spread the word and get people talking and discussing bitcoin.
589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 12, 2015, 03:52:15 PM

591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin predictions. on: July 09, 2015, 08:35:00 PM
LTC looks great now . seems like a good way to make some quick BTC for the time being.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 09, 2015, 08:30:48 PM
Bitcoin unlike gold only 21 million bitcoins will ever be produced. In other words it has what gold doesn't, it's extremely rare per bitcoin.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin really save Greece? on: July 09, 2015, 08:26:37 PM
Everybody holding bitcoins will be happy (this includes all the Greeks). But this may or may not lead to a crash of other currencies.
594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: July 08, 2015, 12:01:25 AM
It still hasnt been resolved. Tons of pages of suggestions but still no definite answer.

I guess that are multiple good ways to earn them. Just sniff around this forum and see what others are doing, best advice Smiley

595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is fighting to $300 in July! on: July 07, 2015, 11:58:15 PM
300 would be nice, I still think BTC is under valued at its current price, imo it should be 450 USD per coin. I don't think that's being unfair. I'm unsure if we'll reach 300 this month but I certainly hope so.
I'm still hoping to hear some progress from the Winkles on Gemini, I expect progress on that soon & we could get a significant pump on that news.

YES, I agree completely. If you want to grow your bitcoin wallet, You NEED to Buy Bitcoin right now! The price is going to go up at least to the $300 per BTC Soon! Buy BTC Now and Hold it!
596  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: July 07, 2015, 11:55:33 PM
we should expect btc price to go up when the next halving took place. I mean the reward of solving a block is getting less, thus should indirectly reduce supply of new coins to the open market.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 06, 2015, 11:23:44 PM
Head and shoulders forming? Please, bulls  Angry

keep calm I think we are clearly in a strong uptrend and we are breaking the previous resistance at this level. From here the next stop could be 285 - 290 easily.

600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: July 06, 2015, 09:34:07 PM
"Bull" and "bear" markets last a long time and have major corrections along the way.  It all depends whether you think there is a future here in BTC.  Yes, now is a BETTER time to buy
