Is this coin dead and gone? None of the exchanges are online any long.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Can not Save & Restart Miner on: May 30, 2015, 05:14:28 PM
Hello all. I just upgraded to 5.0. I exported my previous Minera settings, and imported them, but when ever Minera starts, it defaults to the multi.ghash.io pool. I went into settings and when I click on Save & Restart Miner, all that happens is the screen jumps down to "Top bar Settings", ok, so I selected 5 coins to show, but nothing happens when I click "Save" there. Been fighting this issue for a couple hours now, even imaged and tried without importing my previous Minera settings, so, HELP!!!!!!! lol. Not being able to search to see if this issue has already been answered/resolved is a pain in the keester......
Thanks in advance

Are the American and Canadian servers down? I have been only able to connect to the EU server.. And since EU is the only server showing a usage statistic I assume it's not just me..

Yes you are not alone. My miner can only connect to the EU server. But this change has not been shown on the latest news page.

News
2015-03-31 : Brazil, Singapore and China nodes is turned off. Unfortunately, this pool do not produce profit, needed to support more servers.

I do hope this pool can continue to stay for long.

Same here, can not connect to stratum+tcp://US.coinmine.pw:1111 for a couple days now, miners say it's "DEAD"

Quote "Looks like it will take about 12 hours to reconfigure server (compile add daemons and redownload blockchains)."

I would have to guess here that you don't do backups on the server? Sorry, but this is no way to operate a mining pool or any other service/business, backups are critical and should be done constantly to prevent down time when you have people/users relying on the service. With a backup, it would probably have taken less than 2 hours to restore and your server is back up and in business.

There was no message about any issues and my miners were mining fine at 5:30 AM EST, I queued the requests to cash out my mined coins and it accepted, but now they are all showing pending status, and one is showing "0" pending which should be a couple 100 coins. I just hope all my mined coins are safe and will be transmitted once the system is back online and do not get lost because of this.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you... Site is back online and my withdraw/deposits are going thru, had me worried there for a while Smiley Excellent job it getting the best pool I've seen in a very long time back up and running, but I hope you start doing backups Smiley Smiley

Anyone know where this is being traded besides Bittrex? They posted a message on their exchange " This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on February 27th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC." I've looked around and can't find any other exchanges or did everyone give up on this coin and it's dying/died.
Thanks

Without reading this thread, I sent some btc to newly created account
Seems like I lost those. Nearly 170$ BTC

F**K you betasharex

Same shit here.. lost .3 bitcoin not much but all I had... betasharex sucks . Hackers do somthing usefull and take them down.

That's wright.  SUch exchanges - sites should be banned from the internet. But how can you do that.
For me , it were only my UFO-coins.

Sent BTC here yesterday too, sent to address and it never showed yesterday. Over 200 confs on the chain. I also had some sell orders that I forgot about, tried to cancel them to withdraw and can't do that either without a "404 error". I've sent support ticket and twitter messages, no reply. I tweeted a couple of their "so called" supporters that were promoting their exchange, only reply I have received so far that one started following me..lol

There has to be a way to stop all of these scams, this and Biter has cost not only myself, but a lot of other people a lot of BTC and $$$. It is making more and more people starting to talk about and asking for regulations on crypto, and though I thought I would never say this, I'm now think something has to be done and that may be the only way.

Status Update:  Aha! is back up and running - Thanks to everyone who helped me cover cost for this month Cheesy
Roadmap is back up. However, the timeline does not fully reflect our current strategic outlook. Some tasks or milestones may need to be updated, some have been completed and some are still pending.

https://bitmark.aha.io/published/4457ddb73f8f65e4b34ace9b319a4942?page=1

Which milestones have been completed?

https://bitmark.aha.io/published/4457ddb73f8f65e4b34ace9b319a4942?page=2

Which others have been started, where is the evidence?

I cant find the code:

http://vps.bitmark.co/git

Thanks for the update.  Have not seen markp more than once this month, and that was to say he's trying to source  more funding, that the project had 'gone low' and that code was coming in the next week.

I also got an email from a major site (crowdbucks) two days ago cc'ing mark and asking if they can start implementing marking.   They have been waiting since September, on the message

Quote
I sincerely hope we can work together over the coming months to knowledge share and perhaps change the world a little, one mark at a time.

Please consider me at your disposal and available to discuss anything at any time. For now I am focused on bringing the system to a tangible reality, something concrete and usable around which we can base further discourse.

But there's no reply I have seen, and dont know what to say.

I'd love this project to be successful and support it, but convince us that the project is active and that the donations have not run out and work stopped ... lots of us want to believe this project is a going concern.  Help us understand.

EDIT: YAYYYY. I don't know what changed but my coins showed up on the exchange and confirmed just a couple minutes ago, what ever you did THANK YOU - THANK YOU. Smiley Smiley

As stated in an earlier post, I've been waiting over 2 months now for just over 2 BTM to be confirmed on Hash-to-coins pool, What is the normal confirmation requirements for BTM? Reason I ask is I was just looking at my transactions logs on the site, and noticed that the confirmations requirements on BTM are set to 720 confirmations :O??? That is extremely high confirmations, Oldest block mined and waiting was on 11/08/14, it's only at 596 or 720 confirmations, most resent/last block mined was on 11/23/14 is only at 277 of 720 confirmations.
Thanks....
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmark on: January 25, 2015, 11:38:35 PM
Hey I thought this coin was a good  idea along time ago when there was some hash making it go but I stopped a month or 2 ago as why bother when im burning my money (electricity)and still have 20 BTM pending for god knows how long I mean there really isn't a point to this when miners are the backbone of a block chain ..I understand high difficulty but its plain just to high and this is going to die as ive held what I do have and watched it go from 250k sat to 30k and that doesn't fly well cuz its not like this will replace BTC ..this is just looking to find a niche market and turning your miners away will kill it end of story there isn't an argument to be had on it and to do so is just stupid after all the work and wasted electricity...my god man wake up and get the diff within reason that will at least grow and draw some attention to it...or watch it fade cuz as tipping and everything else takes steps forward this is fading and support is fading ...anyways let me know next year when I can get my last few coins out and I hope there still worth half a sat ... Cry

Sorry to hear that the high difficulty has given you a bad experience so far. We definitely don't intend for marking to be a niche market thing though.

Miners will mine whatever is profitable for them to mine, so if we can create demand for BTM then the mining will follow.

I have to agree with the first guys statement. I stopped mining because of the confirmation time. I've been waiting over 3 months for just over 2 BTM to get confirmed on a pool. I "made a mistake" earlier and bought quite a few on one exchange because the price was low and send to another where I could have made a 0.00004 profit, well, I've been waiting over 3 hours for the coins to show up in my deposit. Blockchain still showing unconfirmed. My would have been profit has now dropped that I may have to take a loss, this, my friend, is not acceptable in the mining world. The coin will die out if something is not done to fix the issue, other coins have had this problem and the dev's have fixed with a fork or other means and most of those are still being mined today, I've seen other that just faded away and died. If you want this coin to become what you say, then you will need to do something to fix the issues before the miners totally give up on it.

Speaking for myself, and maybe most other miners. I mine coins that I feel comfortable with and that turn a profit. As the other user stated, we miners also have to cover our expenses to mine (electricity/equipment), which, at present, this coin is causing loss for all who are mining it, including yours truly. If the issues are fixed, then I'll point all my miners at the pool, but until then, I need to mine coins that are profit and move a lot faster as far as transactions and confirmations are concerned.

Hey all, Markus got down his list to a couple of my questions last night.  He is aware of issues posted, but is very busy this week and has gotten quite a bit of feedback and suggestions for improvements.  Have a little patience, he will get there.  Updates and bug fixes are coming.

Today I am reviewing all the reports listed above  to issue an update asap.

Try 2.1.1.5 To see if your issues have been solved.

As for myself, the markets list is still unavailable on cryptsy.
Crptsy seems to be working fine.

YESSSS, Cryptsy is now working for me, it was broken before Smiley Smiley Great work.

Had the same issue with the market lists at first, what I had to do was use the Application Keys settings and not the API Keys.

Please, any constructive assistance greatly appreciated.

The Ping-Pong works great on all supported exchanges except Cryptsy, which is the main exchange that I prefer to use.

I can place buy orders on Cryptsy all day and it works great, always updating and placing my buy bid +1 above the current buy bid.

Problem is that I can not get the Sell to do the same. It will place the first Sell bid -1 below current highest Sell bid the FIRST TIME and then does nothing and I get no error messages either, I've let it sit and run as long as 30 minutes. If I stop the Ping-Pong, manually cancel my current Sell bid, go back and start Ping-Pong again, it places my Sell bid -1 below the current highest Sell bid, and again, STOPS, just sits there while the other Sell bids are dropping lower.

I have even tried previous versions and have the same issue. I know a lot of you are saying it's working fine for you, but I've also seen a couple other users saying they are also having the same issue, and like me, just with Cryptsy.

Thanks again,
Tom

Not just cryptsy. I have reported the problem 4 times. If you choose bottom radio option and your buy/sell becomes current bid app fails to cancel and recalculate. (bottom radio control meaning Satoshi Above Top Ask or Satoshis Below Top Bid)

Have you tried increasing the time? Don't place orders too quickly, set it to 60 seconds and see if it works.

Hi Jimlite,

I've set the timer as high as 120 seconds for Max and 60 for Min, no difference. I just don't make any since to me, I know it has to be configured right because it works fine on Bittrex and Poloniex (don't use Cex_IO yet).

Thanks,
Tom

I am not understanding the problems people are having here.
Iv been using this program sense day 1, used every new update as they have came.
I have the API's set without issue for all 4 exchanges.

IDK... have you guys not watched the videos the dev released?

I feel as if most people are just misunderstanding how some of the fields work =/
I really wish I could help more of you, but I am not having the problems you guys are having...

Hey...
I've taken the time to take a few screenshots so that people can see the problem and possibly help.

I guess that there's seemingly nothing different from my setup and the people for whom it's working with cryptsy... isn't it?

P.S. : I'm not running xp, it's just a skin. Quatloo trader doesn't work on windows xp (as a huge xp fan, I tried, trust me :op).

Here is the issue I found with the keys, I posted earlier.

My question, in Cryptsy, their are API Keys, Public and Private, and Application Keys, Key and Device. Which one of these are we suppose to use or a combination of one or both. Reason I ask, is if I use the API Keys, nothing works right for Cryptsy, markets and everything is blank. If I use the Application Keys, markets and everything works correctly except the Selling option, as stated, It will submit one sell -1 below current selling price, but if someone else places a sell order -1 below mine, mine never changes.

Notice, that every thing works right using the Application Keys, markets display and buy orders work as should, only problem is that the Sell order is placed but never changes, using the API Keys don't work as you seen.

Hello everybody...

I'm coming here because I have a little problem.

I bought 3000 quatloos today so as to be able to use the advanced features of the program.
I got the same problem as MrMinerVa (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=711966.msg8774857#msg8774857 - post #530) with the cryptsy markets list being empty. I've tried with both API keys and with the application keys, and none of them gets me to solve this. Also, the software can retrieve my several accounts on cryptsy as well as the market history, but not my personal history nor the open orders.

Is it a bug or is it just me?
Any help will be appreciated Smiley

Thanks Smiley

This sounds like you never activated your API key with Bittrex.
I may be wrong, But doesn't Bittrex send you a email when you create a API key on there? Like the secrete key is visible on your Bittrex account until you activate the API key, than the Secrete key no longer shows up on the Bittrex account?

If this does not make any sense, than just ignore me...

No no, everything is fine with the bittrex API, it's just with cryptsy that I have problems.

Same here. I've tested over the past 2 days and it works great on Bitrex, Poloniex and Cex_IO, but always fails on Cryptsy, both the sell/buy for ping-pong. Is it a program issue or is it something to do with Cryptsy?

You are letting the timer run out, right?  Because it will look and replace order.

Yes, I've let the timer run out several time over and it never changes.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bittrex / Poloniex / Cryptsy All Coin Trading Software, Quatloo Trader. on: September 14, 2014, 11:41:11 PM
This is what you have stated:

You have placed a sell order 1 sat below top ask.
Someone places a sell order 1 sat below yours.

So...

Top Bid
Your Bid(-1 sat)
Someone else's bid(-1 sat below yours)

This is what you have written out.  I don't see the problem you are still 1 sat below top ask.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. If I place a sell order using the Ping-Pong settings, say for CAP. I set "Satoshis Below Top Ask" at 1, set the Place To Ask say at 12 CAP and check Scalp Mode, and click "Start Ping-Pong", that seems to work, the Sell order is placed 1 Satoshis lower than the highest Selling price, no problem there. But, if someone else places a sell order for 1 Satoshis less than mine, isn't Ping-Pong suppose to cancel my sell order and then place anew one 1 Satoshis below his? If so, it does not seem to be working. The order is not cancelled and a new one is not placed. Now, if I go to the "Open Orders" tab, manually cancel the order I placed, then the program will submit a new order for 1 Satoshis less than the current Selling price.

Tom

Maybe I'm not explaining it right,

I place a sell for 100 CAP at 0.00005000
Someone else places a sell after me for 50 CAP at 0.00004999

Shouldn't the program see the other persons sell order, cancel my 100 CAP at 0.00005000 and make a new sell order for 100 CAP at 0.00004998?
If that is what is suppose to happen, it's not. My sell for 100 CAP stays at 0.00005000, their could be 10 more lower sell orders, all dropping by 1, mine just sits there unless I stop the ping-pong, manually cancel the sell order, then when I restart the ping-pong it will place my order 1 below the lowest sell order, and just sit there, never changing.

Thanks
Tom
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bittrex / Poloniex / Cryptsy All Coin Trading Software, Quatloo Trader. on: September 14, 2014, 06:49:41 PM
Ok, I finally got above the 3000 QTL to use the full verison  Grin

I have it working, somewhat. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or not, I've watched the videos a couple of times, but it's not working just right.

Now, if I go to the "Open Orders" tab, manually cancel the order I placed, then the program will submit a new order for 1 Satoshis less than the current Selling price.

Also, am I right to assume that you can only have one Ping Pong running at a time no matter what coin/market you are selling at? I had the CAP sell setup, then I went to the 42 market, almost as soon as I did that, I noticed that my sell for CAP was cancelled (I was watching the orders on Cryptsy in another window), then, a sell order for my 42 coins was automatically placed 1 Satoshis below the high selling order for 42 coin?

Am I missing something in all this, did I set something wrong? I believe we need some more details about how the program works (or suppose to work) and it's limitations.

Thanks in advance..
Tom
