1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the centralization of Bitcoin mining pools be prevented? on: April 07, 2019, 04:55:31 PM
I know nothing about mining but I have to ask it.
What stops miners from switching to another pool? For example if people see that very soon blockchain will be centralized then they can switch to the other pool in order to save their money and investments. The pool consists of ordinary miners that are not controlled by Bitmain.

The bigger the pools the highest chances of hitting a block,

That's the sole reason why people choose a pool with the highest hashrate. Coming to centralization, Any pool that controls more than 51% of the hashrate controls the blockchain.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cardano Replace Bitcoin in 10 Years? on: April 07, 2019, 02:46:05 PM
If Cardano manages to successfully launch PoS, and it really gets so decentralized as Charles claims, I think in the next 10 years Cardano can surpass Bitcoin, not just as a utility but as a marketcap and a store of value.

Any thoughts?

Don't forget ETH is also working on switching to POS so there's no reason for ADA to steal the top 1 place of Bitcoin.

It can only happen if all coins are dead and Cardano is the only sole surviving blockchain.

1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: April 07, 2019, 02:38:17 PM
Just another shitcoin with no future.

This shit is going to ZERO.

All coins that are not in TOP 10 ranking on coinmarketcap has no secured future and they can go to ZERO anytime. So this coin has no exception same like the other coins. its a survival of the fittest.

1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ▉ANN▉ MTNC ▉▉▉▉░ Masternodecoin ░▉▉▉ Multiple Privacy Center Platform on: April 07, 2019, 10:52:39 AM
Any latest news about the 10:1 Swap event?

I hope the dev can come clean and start working with cryptopia to fix node & chain issues or else i lose my remaining MTNC coin and can't apply to the swap due to cryptopia no withdrawal mode.

Forget about cryptopia all of you, They will never do the swap.
Admin need to get listed in coinexchange or any other exchanger to get this done.

Who will pay for exchange listing fees? the admin?  Grin

I highly doubt that, He is probably gonna launch another community coin sale to fund exchange listing after the 10:1 swap event.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Movement DAO | Fully Decentralized Organization | Borderless Collaboration on: April 07, 2019, 10:51:13 AM
When MTV exchange will be ready any news about it, it could bost the project and make new investors in.

Its been re-enabled in next.exchange but there no volume yet as there's lack of traders interest in the project.

But give it time, MVT is a great community with project with strong community members that is working hard behind The Movement.
1208  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: April 07, 2019, 10:46:21 AM
So at the end, they don't answer at all as they did from the start of this incident. Same old unprofessionalism...
Cryptopia update us when they see fit/like, because nobody(?) can't force them to do it differently.

It's a fact though that if they want to start earning again as exchanger, they will need to activate the wallets faster.

That's how it works with cryptopia, All their customers is at their mercy and everyone has been hoping everyday that they should allow withdrawal for secured coins.

man, i just want to withdraw my coins from cryptopia, thats why im checking this thread lol

Who else not Cheesy i been active in their discord, twitter, facebook reading all the comments made by their angry customers and none from cryptopia replied or care Cheesy

1209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BaseFEX Recruiting 100 "Angel Users", Offering $50 For Each on: April 07, 2019, 10:40:55 AM

Can the BaseFEX confirm any of these type of questions? I guess that many will reject the offer of having 50 dollars when you need to sell your own identity.

That free $50 is not really free that you can withdraw immediately since im sure they have a rules in place for angel users to try their system and probably they have a target volume on your account before we can withdraw.

Next week i can confirm what is the rules for the free $50 once i receive mine
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑☑☑[ANN][BSD] BitSend - online since 2014 - Bittrex - Litebit.eu on: April 07, 2019, 10:37:45 AM
How many weeks we left for the airdrop? My memory tells me there should be 1 or 2 rounds more. What's the plan after? Will there be any other campaigns exclusive to forum members? (not necessarily airdrops)

Probably it will last until last week of April with a follow up of one big airdrop (I hope so)  to all participants who join and finish the airdrop race.

After April i probably missed the occasional weekly airdrop from BSD and no more free meal every week. But overall its been a nice run and the airdrop was done with utmost transparency.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SERO - Zero Knowledge Proof based Privacy Protection Platform for DApps on: April 07, 2019, 10:34:19 AM

Great, now I'll try mining on other processors. Also, what parameter do I need to specify in cminer --cpu=0 instead of 0, for mining all CPU threads? Since the parameter is 0, all threads work minus one.
I would also like to repeat my question:

I suggest mining only using max of 2 cores on your CPU, so setting them at cpu=2 there no need to run 4 cores since there are only few hash difference between 2 and 4.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴【ICO】CRYPTOMARKETADS.COM【✅TOP ICO OF 2019✅WORKING PRODUCT✅INNOVATION】 on: April 07, 2019, 10:32:46 AM
Its a big advantage that you have a working product.

Yes they do have a working product and in my opinion they don't need to run an ICO for their project,

they can simply launch their ad network and start making money from advertisers
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: April 07, 2019, 10:31:01 AM

LOL!

Who is still calling DeepOnion a scam? No one.

Have you not bothered to read the latest replies of this thread? No one is calling it a scam anymore, because they've realized all of their arguments against DeepOnion have fallen flat.

We'll all see you when DeepOnion has reached $38!

I usually don't bother to read newbie post with BOLD MESSAGES,

But read my post in this thread to check where i stand with Deeponion  Wink

1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to cash out perhaps ? on: April 07, 2019, 10:28:09 AM
I wouldn't cash out now, some would say that they have lost enough and want to get their money back. However, it i clear that the bull run us starting with huge whales coming back again, it would be mad to leave crypto now

Well if you bought your BTC when it was $19k USD then you should sell now Cheesy

I think that many here, who have suffered great losses for years, and don’t need to sell everything right away, as soon as the market starts to rise, if you think that the market reversal has begun, I think you should wait for a more attractive price.

We only loss if we sell at loss, HOLDING your coins during bear market is the best thing you can do to save for potential losses.
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DUMP after PUMP! on: April 07, 2019, 10:24:07 AM
The top coins will definitely experience things like that related to the number of enthusiasts or the more people who trade, invest, etc. We don't need to see the bad side or its disadvantages here, because every great coin certainly has a better chance of making a profit. There will always be a time to earn a profit when we really believe that, this is the same as when we believe in bitcoin.

Any coin that has a strong a big community will certainly experience growth and price pump together with Bitcoin during this rally. This coming bull market will never be the same like before, Not all coins will enjoy high price valuation.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Team also needs to pass KYC on: April 07, 2019, 10:22:39 AM
This is totally right.. The KYC which means know your customer should be applicable to all and sundry in the crypto sphere. It might be difficult to get the project developers profile details but then it is the right step to totally sanitising the crypto ecosystem. Teams should pass KYC before investors will invest in their platform

The main issues here is the place or platform where team members need to under go their KYC, Since there's no centralized system for KYC Procedure in crypto space we have to rely on 3rd party like ICO Bench which have strick KYC Compliance, But its not enough since some project owners can easily  buy ID's and Selfies via darknet making KYC a child's play.
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Available] on: April 07, 2019, 05:09:58 AM
Are we still going to see some development here? Is any dev taking this project over? Thanks

There's a zero interest in this project and no one will take over this project due to POSTOKEN High gas fees bug in their smart contract.

We should let this project rest in peace and move on...
1218  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com 2 Just Launched! New games, updated design 💎💣🎰🎲♠️ on: April 07, 2019, 05:07:25 AM

For me, I recieved 0.0063 ETH but I only have wagered 0.025 BTC and 0.13 ETH all in all. So this suppose to be the majority of members who  had already received.

I think everyone receive the same amount regardless of the wagered amount. Or they have a minimum wagered amount before you can qualify for the bonus to prevent abuse from idle account.
1219  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 07, 2019, 05:06:08 AM
Timing is a very sensitive thing in gambling and casinos vs players deal. I mean if you are a player who did nothing wrong you do expect to get your money right away so the withdrawal times should be as quick as possible, nobody really wants to wait a whole day to get their money so the player is right to ask for it right away since he knows he did nothing wrong.

But at the same time, casinos needs to check the withdrawals one by one and check what type of gambler you are and if you did anything wrong and if they find any weird movements than they will ask you further questions before they give you your money back, if they find nothing bad than they just allow the withdrawal.

Now, if the casino doesn't do that than they might be open to many risky attacks so they can't just auto accept all withdrawals. Both sides are very much right but there is no middle ground to fix the situation.

Most casino offers both instant deposit and withdrawal and the only time they put a withdrawal on hold is if they need to do additional check and due diligence for the account owners.

But on the history of FJ, They always honor customers withdrawal even those account that undergo additional checking.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is a Trojan Horse on: April 06, 2019, 06:11:22 PM
I have been using Ripple(XRP) for 2 years now and i haven't experience any problem in using them to send and receive money from my friends.

It confirms fast, less than 1 minute my XRP is readily spendable. So i don't see why there's so much hate and negativity on XRP as a cryptocurrency. It generally serves it purpose as a mode of payment.
