1  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: CoinLenders Lawsuit on: November 28, 2013, 11:53:35 PM
Can I suggest that those who have coins in coinlenders may want to take screenshots or find other proof of their investments, just in case the site goes dark?

I'm in.

Hopefully we'll be mass PMd?

Can we perhaps nominate someone to liaise directly with TF on our behalf?

The reason I ask is because I'm refraining from emailing at the moment as I realise that TF is probably flooded and the last thing any of us need is to cause him to have a nervous breakdown - therefore, I'm sort of backing off a little bit to avoid adding to the trauma. HOWEVER - if I keep a low profile and then find out that I'm not due anything back because I didn't make enough noise quickly enough, I will not be particularly happy.

Therefore, can't we just have one elected guy in constant communication with TF, who we know will act in a trustworthy and even-handed way so as to productively work with TF rather than spooking him with threats of legal action? It really seems that we might get more down towards a full resolution that way, particularly as TF won't be spending a chunk of his time answering the same question over and over again in the multitude of emails he's no doubt being bombarded with....

All CL users with a balance (in the form of CDs, balances, withdrawals, to Inputs that weren't credited) will receive an email update within a week.

Thanks for the update - I appreciate being kept in the loop.

Good luck and sorry to hear about your loss.

Hrrrm

I've read through the last 10 or so pages here but I'm still not entirely sure of the implications of the input.io on the coins I was storing in coinlenders that I intended to use towards my wedding next summer. Pro tip: I don't need to hear "you're stupid, dude" because anybody is a genius with the near-useless gift of hindsight.

It seems a bit harsh that I may lose some of my btc because of a hack on another service - one that I didn't even want to, or ask to use. Inputs.io was kind of forced upon us, we used to be able to throw coins into coinlenders through an address. Therefore, if inputs.io is hacked, inputs.io should bear the brunt, and not coinlenders customers just because we happen to use a service owned by the same guy.

I'm waiting to find out what happens next, but to be honest, I'm not too optimistic - my coins are currently stuck in a CD that should have paid out on the 6th, but instead is sitting there generating satoshis into the abyss.

Interested to know when this news broke - was it before or after the 6th November? If it was after, this would seem to indicate knowledge that this was about to go down by virtue of my CD not paying out and just sitting in limbo!

What next for those of us who are coinlender customers? Do we have to email, or just wait? A FAQ may be good.

Hmmm this looks a bit interesting too - there's a moderate amount of risk involved, but you're covering a couple of angles here:

England (W) v Spain (W)

Take Spain ML at 3.30/+230 and the Draw ML at 3.46/+246

Put a unit on each of those results. I think the draw is most likely - the English women's team are good, but the Spanish are no slouches either, and conditions favour them.

That's actually not a bad shout for the Parlay. It doesn't have a great chance, but the odds reflect that, making it worth a unit Smiley

Also take:

France (W) vs Russia (W)

Over 3    1.77/-129

Mexico vs. Canada Over 3 (2.61 / +161)   Lose

I like the look of this:

HJK Helsinki vs. Vaasa VPS
Vaasa VPS ML  10.49/+949

Teams are matched closer than you'd think. I could see an upset here.

I may be a little late to the party, but if you still have any remaining, I would love one - thanks so much.

Either way, I'll ping you a small donation to say thanks for doing such a nice thing to the community, just as soon as my CD matures.
