541  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Would you guys be interested in an open source automatic escrow ? on: April 05, 2015, 07:08:32 AM
I thought that the fact that, if a scam were to occur in the platform, the bitcoin would disappear as nor A nor B would have access to that bitcoin.

Process:
- A sends bitcoin to b through the platform.
- A no longer haves that bitcoin, it is being held by the platform and just waiting for A to sign it.
- B can see that the transaction is on process and proceeds to send the goods to A
- Once A receives said goods, A signs the transaction
- B receives the bitcoin

Scenario 1
*If B never sends the goods, A never signs.
::Outcome::
A loses the bitcoin as it is being held by the platform.
B didn't send his goods.
B never receives the bitcoin.

Scenario 2
*If B sends the goods, but A never signs.
::Outcome::
A loses the bitcoin as it is being held by the platform
B sent the goods to A
B never receives the bitcoin.

-- Proposal to avoid the loss: Have someone mediate the transactions so that he/she can resolve a dispute.

**********

Scenario 2 is not likely to happen, as A would have no motive to not sign

Scenario 1 is the one that could happen, but if it were to happen B wouldn't benefit from it other than making A lose bitcoin.

------
I think this is one of those, why not both?

how about a platform that offers the both things.
- An easy and fast system without an external party in the transaction other than the application
- a medium for an easy escrow so that an external person can mediate the trade.

The second would have this process:

- C creates the transaction.
- A sends the bitcoin to the platform
- B sends the goods to A and registers it in the platform
- A confirms the reception of the goods
- C signs the transaction and the bitcoin is sent to B
- B receives the bitcoin

*If there is a dispute
- A makes the dispute
- B submits evidence
- A submits evidence
- C mediates and sends the bitcoin to the rightful party.

what if the case is, A sends the correct amount of coins in the transaction but B only sends half or not really the goods he is selling then the bitcoins of A will be lost even he is the one being honest in the transaction?

tried your faucet and got 250 satoshi directly on my faucetbox account.. but seems your faucet pay low amount currently, maybe you can set the minimum amount to be claimed to atleast 300satoshi coz the next 500satoshi reward is a bit low in percentage to hit

548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: April 05, 2015, 03:52:12 AM
Martiangle is a very good strategy, you can earn a lot of money from this strategy, but be careful not to use this strategy too much if you do not want to lose all the money, because many bookies are committing fraud.

martingale strategy more likely looks you are waiting for your bankroll to get busted by red streak and not to profit.. thats why i stop gambling on dice sites to avoid martingale coz i once loved that strategy
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to cancel a transaction on: April 05, 2015, 03:49:23 AM
blockchain.info online wallet. how to do that double spend? the transaction im asking is in cycle for a week now :/

And there is no option to cancel it on blockchain.info? if not, you could export the private key for the Bitcoin address you sent from and import it into another client (or fresh blockchain.info wallet) and make another transaction that moves all of the bitcoin out of it.

thank you.. ill try to remove those addresses from my blockchain wallet for now and wait 1 week more before i check that the transaction is really cancelled and wont start automatic sending a no fee transaction Smiley
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to cancel a transaction on: April 05, 2015, 03:41:20 AM
How do you exactly double spend Bitcoins? I always wonder.. Roll Eyes
I ever do a mistake like OP do
so I create another transaction with same input, with fees this time.

The old one without fees never confirmed and forgotten from network, and the new one successfull sent the bitcoin

ahh i see.. i know that thing, but in my case, it automatically sends another transaction(no fees) when the original transaction gets cancelled.

552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / how to cancel a transaction on: April 05, 2015, 03:33:10 AM
i know it sounds odd but ill start my question here, my problem is in my wallet, i tried sending 10k satoshi from address "A" to address "B" without transaction fee, it takes days and it automatically cancelled but when it cancelled it automatically sends 10k satoshi again from address "A" to address "B".. any suggestion how can i stop this cycle? i cant use my funds left in those addresses

558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: export bitcoin wallet address on: April 05, 2015, 02:39:03 AM
You want to export the address, not the private key, from multibit? Just click the "copy address to clipboard" button and past into text file, repeat if needed.

You can modify the address all you want it will only result in you not getting any bitcoins when you use the modified address. Best case you modified the address in a way that makes it invalid, worst case you modified the address in a way that no private key for the modified address exisits.

Maybe you should tell what you are actually trying to do, because I think you are after vanity addresses and took a wrong turn somewhere.
i already try that, but it's make me tired.
let say i want to create 100 address or more, and i want to export that address into text file.
it's so tired if i copy paste manually, so if anyone knows how to export them all at once, like export private keys.

export=copy to text file? if so i think the only way is to copy paste it manually, if its so tiring for you, you can do it atleast copy 10-20 addresses in a day
